I cannot say enough good things about Del Valle Winery. The ambiance was absolutely beautiful, and even though it was extremely hot during the day we went, the fans were effective and the staff were continually filling up our waters to ensure we were hydrated. The staff were so patient and kind with us. I will say we were a bit of a louder group (we were a group of 12), but the staff seriously leaned into ensuring we were comfortable and taken care of. They would professionally joke around with us as well and demonstrated the highest level of hospitality for such a large group. I would definitely come back again! Last stop on my Livermore tour with my parents, we opted with this hidden gem. It's very quaint feel, the courtyard is really nice and they have plenty of heat lamps and fire pits. (COVID-19 REVIEW) My family and I came here on Sunday at 12pm for a tour of the place since my sister needed a venue for her debut (18th birthday). We were happy to see how warm and inviting the people were to everyone that came through the door (by appointment)! My sister booked an appointment with Kelly (event coordinator) since you can only come here by appointments for tastings & other inquiries. While waiting, we were instantly greeted with wine glasses and several choices of wine to try! I'm underaged, but it was nice to see my parents have a ~fun~ time! A big plus was how accommodating Kelly was. She gave us a thorough idea of what spaces were available and ideas on how to use them. She also sent a PDF of pricing ahead of time through email before confirming an appointment. You can really tell that Del Valle values customer satisfaction. Wasn't really sure what to expect from this place, but the second we walked in we were greeted by two beautiful glasses of bubbles by an incredibly kind host which was a super warm welcome. We then were escorted to the back where we were transported to a beautiful backyard oasis that was roomy and had enough sun or shade for your liking. There's even lil fire places! Our servers, Andrea and Cabrina were fantastic. So knowledgeable and kind. Even though it was pretty busy, they were rockstars bouncing around everywhere while still being attentive to their tables. We ended our experience with a check in from the manager, Kelly. She too was just as interested in our experience as everyone else, which was awesome. No food, but the charcuterie board they offered was actually pretty tasty. Of course, everyone's interest in wine is different, but across the board, their wine was actually all pretty good! this is a lovely winery located in the heart of livermore's wine country, right along tesla road, where many of the wineries are. i would say this is a bit smaller than average, but a lovely venue for hosting a wedding. i recently attended my friend's wedding, roughly 80 people, and this spot was just perfect. the main wine tasting room in the front was not used, but the outdoor space was used for both the ceremony and reception; ceremony was uncovered, but reception was mostly covered. their barrel room was used for the cocktail hour, open bar, cake cutting and dancing. i loved how everything was adjacent to one another for seamless transitions from one event to the next. the ceremony area was just lovely, with the vineyards normal decor...suitable for a wedding, or anniversary or any other special event without the need to add more. i loved the rustic look and feel of this space! the barrel room felt like a barn inside, but looked modern from the outside. parking was plentiful, from the moment you turn into the property, going all the way to the rear of the property line. they even had portable toilets outside which were air conditioned! one was for men, one was for women, and a third was ada accessible. they were well appointed with toiletries and pleasant smelling, unlike most portable restrooms. read more

This place is so sweet and charming and the staff is so friendly and welcoming and knowledgeable! The wines are different from a lot of typical Livermore wineries because they do "European Style" winemaking so that means the flavors are much more pronounced and bright and nuanced. I reallllllly liked it! The food from the little restaurant on site is fantastic! I highly recommend the cheese and charcuterie boards...as prettty as they are tasty The outdoor seating is quiet and secluded, with lots of trees (bird songs) and big lawns. Went to an event tonight at Del Valle Winery to see the Foam Riders band. The band was great and the place was packed. The food was tasty (small plates) but they were under staffed with servers. Took over 25 minutes to get an ice tea, even longer to get the food. Beautiful venue. Next time they have an event I hope they consider adding 3-4 more servers and 2 additional cooks. read more

This winery is soooo beautiful! They have such a large shaded outdoor patio for you to lounge in to enjoy your wine. My friends and I were doing a wine tasting day and walked in on a Sunday afternoon with no reservation and they took us in right away. I honestly didn't care to check how much it was for a tasting, my friends and I were already buzzed from the first winery and just wanted the wines to keep coming. After a few tastings we were hungry and decided to opt for a cheese board. The board was enough for the 5 of us but it costed us $25!!!! Like excuse meeeee, for that tiny board it costed so much. If we knew how much it costed before hand we probably would have not bought it. It wasn't bad, but definitely not worth $25. The staff that works here are super friendly and attentive. One of them even gave us recommendations on other wineries and places to have lunch at which was sweet. I also noticed that this is a popular winery because people kept coming in and out, and there were only a few open tables left. They also have a spacious patio in front of the winery but I think they only seat people there when the back is full. We had such an amazing time here yesterday! We decided to celebrate a birthday here and it was perfect! All five wines for the wine tasting were delicious, but the group's favorite was Tres Rouge. Roger was great and the entire staff were all smiles and very welcoming. We had to sit indoors due to the extreme heat, but were able to take great pictures outside. Had an amazing experience doing the create your own wine class with Andrea. The wine was delicious, and making your own blend was a fantastic way to experiment and learn about wine. Andrea was very welcoming and insightful. Our blends came out unique and exactly to our taste, and you get to take your bottle home to share! Toured the winery recently with a client interested in hosting a team building event for her team. We toured the winery and grounds with Events Director, Kelli Urban. Kelli was fantastic to work with and took so much time showing us around and answering many questions. My client loved the grounds and the new look and feel barrel room since change of ownership. I was here for a birthday gathering and had a great time!! The entertainment was nice and the ambiance was very romantic. My husband told me that this is going to be our new get away spot. Their wine is priced nicely (for me personally) I had the sparkling wine and the 2018 Primitivo red wine. Very delicious and it was paired nicely with the cheese tray we had. Pros: two of the wines were pretty good, the Syrah and the sparkling wine they serve you when you walk in. The back area was very spacious and accommodating for groups of any size. Cons: when we were there there was incredibly loud modern country music. Also there were two wines on there that smelled of dung and tasted very bitter and were not my style. From the minute we checked in at the front, the staff was welcoming, friendly and down-to-earth. This is really important to me as some of the older wineries that we have been members of have changed over the years and feel less humble, usually crowded and don't make you feel as welcomed because they're 'established' already. At Del Valle, we were greeted with a glass of their sparkling wine which was absolutely delicious and refreshing! We mentioned we were a little chilly and they offered to sit us at a fire pit table which was fantastic. We each did the wine tasting flight and I pre-ordered two charcuterie boxes which included chocolate, pistachios, salami, different cheeses, crackeds & olives. The selection of items paired perfectly with the wine and presented in a container so if you don't finish it you can take it home. There is enough in each box to share with two people. Our sommelier/host was very attentive, engaging, friendly and spaced-out the wines perfectly and never rushed us. The wines were really tasty and reasonably priced. I ended up purchasing a bottle of their sparkling wine (the one we were greeted with) and a bottle of their Cabernet Sauvignon and my friends bought a few bottles as well. Reservations & pricing were easily available on their website and the site was easy to navigate. This is definitely a winery we will be coming back to as we really enjoyed the beautiful landscaping, lovely firepit options and the birthday girl we took there really enjoyed herself. The online booking was a little confusing, I couldn't book more than one person. The bubbly as we were being greeted was great though. The place looks very nice and inviting but it was a bit busy hence the server seemed very rushed so the fact that there was only one choice of cheese platter wasn't clear. One platter for two people with only one set of utensils was inconvenient and had to ask for extra crackers to be able to share it. I understand the to go box during a pandemic but at least disposable plates would be better than eating out of the box. The prices were decent for the number of taster wines. We fell in love with Del Valle Winery's Wedding Venue on our first visit in 2021 and my daughters wedding Day on 6/4/22 was perfect. Kelli the event coordinator was upfront with all the different fees and options to choose from, answered all our questions and was very helpful with the process of planning their wedding. The day of, Kelli kept us on our timeline and just left us to enjoy the special day. Everyone kept commenting on how much they loved the venue. We fell in love with it because you feel like you are in your own secluded world. The grounds landscaping is just so beautiful. The elevated stage has a beautiful wood moveable background that made the bride and groom pop. There is multiple locations to take photos. We liked that we had the option to have dinner in the barrel room if the weather was too hot. outdoor heaters and fire tables were available if needed. It turned out that the weather was perfect from beginning to the end. Everything that Kelli promised came true. What is crazy is it is located less than 2 miles from our home. pre wedding we must have visited monthly to enjoy different events and we never got bored of the venue. Their wines are also enjoyable. Del Valle is where we celebrated our 25 year wedding renewal. The winery is a great location and an awesome backdrop for special occasions. Kelli, Director of Events, was great to work with.  She walked us through the venue and pointed out decor and use tips.  As we planned and revised some of our design and layout elements, Kelli was awesome and made sure our vision came to life. A huge plus is Del Valle has an onsite Bridal Suite which is great for the bride and her glam squad.  The barrel room was great for our guests to enjoy hors devours and wine.  Kelli and staff provided a fantastic experience and we would not hesitate in recommending Del Valle for your special celebration. read more
