Deli Delicious is very good! All of the ingredients seem like really good quality: the bread tastes fresh-baked, and the veggies and meat are always fresh and appealing. I really like the smoked turkey and cheddar with avocado on a wheat roll with all the fixings - a classic. My husband likes the hot sandwiches, especially the bbq chicken with bacon and cheddar. Yes, it's more expensive than Subway but you can taste the difference in quality. Another plus is the different size options; the medium is usually perfect if I'm really hungry (sometimes I'll pick it up for dinner after work) while a small is good for a lunch that is satisfying but not too heavy. I stopped by to try this place because I was starving and had never been here. My first impression was very clean, good selection and the people were very friendly. I ordered the Philly cheese steak. It was awful. There was hardly any meat on the sandwich and if there was cheese on it I could not find it. The bread was good but I didn't want a bread sandwich I wanted a Philly cheese steak. My new favorite sandwich shop! My wife and I decided to try this place on a recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed. For this visit we tried a cold sandwich and wrap. The number 24 was the ticket for us, which is the turkey, avocado and Swiss. It normally comes with sprouts, but we are not fans of sprouts so we substituted lettuce. Now for me a good sandwich depends on the bread and we ordered a medium (9') on wheat. The bread was toasted PERFECTLY! Not hard, not too soft where all the produce kind of speaks into it. It really was just right and I didn't develop lock jaw as I enjoyed it. The produce was fresh and crunchy, the sauces and spices added were not overwhelming and added to the great flavor of the sandwich. The wrap was just as tasty, but the bread on the sandwich made that experience a bit more enjoyable. We also ordered a basket of fries which was a very generous helping, definitely enough for two people. The place was clean, restrooms were tidy, and all condiments were easily accessible. The staff was friendly and helpful, and had an overall pleasant demeanor. They do offer soups, salads, and hot sandwiches as well so we will be back to sample some more in the very near future. read more

Food was fine. Customer service was ok. But the bad part was how dirty this place was. Every table was filthy. A couple of other customers there, but had plenty of places to choose to sit. But every table was beyond dirty. We finally just picked a table, cleaned it ourselves, and tried to prevent our baby from touching anything. Floor was disgusting. Crumbs of food everywhere! We thought this might have been intentional. Like how sometimes, there are peanut shells on the floors of certain restaurants. But it wasn't. Just found out Deli Delicious was finally open in marina. Having eating at the original location in Fresno many times I thought I would give the new location a try. My expectations were exceeded above & beyond. Very clean ( new restaurant I hope so) and AMAZING sandwiches!!!! But the REAL STAR was the lady running the show, she should be proud of herself, she personally talked to every single customer and went WAY above and beyond what you would expect from an employee. She was on point she made sure EVERYONE in that restaurant was completely satisfied & the staff was operating at a very high level. I introduced myself she told me her name was Noni ( hope I spelled it right) and politely said hello to my wife and myself. You ask why not more about the food ( was awesome by the way) I manage a sales staff and know how the staff could make or break our business. Deli Delicious isn't exactly the cheapest option for eating sandwiches. You could theoretically go to a Subway and eat a similarly made item for half the price. That being said, Deli Delicious is worth the extra penny - they use quality/fresh ingredients and if you like sandwiches in general, this one won't disappoint. The sandwiches may be on the smaller end, but I really do appreciate the extra touches they put on their sandwiches (like the sauce) to differentiate themselves from franchises like Subway. read more

Chipotle chicken sandwich was so awesome the husband went back the next day to get another one. The roast beef, mushroom & Swiss was also delicious. Placed an online order for pickup and arrived at the store to pay. Waited 30 minutes with the staff staring at me; guess they thought I was there for the ambiance. When I addressed the wait I was told they did not know I was there, but they knew my money was there since they took it. I'm disappointed with my meal. I ordered the grilled chicken salad, requested no cheese, and ranch dressing. The salad was pre-made, pulled out the fridge and chicken added, unappealing (thrown together in plastic container) and almost $9. I'm not sure if my rating is appropriate however my impression of going to a deli led me to believe my salad would be freshly crafted and more put together. I didn't eat it.
