First time here and I'm going to say that it's way better than subway and other locations I've even to. They make it fresh and I love the fries too. Service is also good have dealt with a couple of the employees and they are very friendly and polite. It's a small location u can eat there or to take. Mmmm ... a deli sandwich is one of my fave meals; a salami sando on sourdough is even more of one of my fave meals and this place has them! You can either choose to build your own sando or a pre-selected ingredient sando. I chose to build my own so that I could have a salami on sourdough with pepper jack cheese and the works. The salami was italian dry which is what I prefer (I really don't like Genoa salami so this was perfect for me), and the sourdough bread was a roll that was hard on the outside but soft on the inside. It seemed slightly toasted/warmed which initially scared me cause I thought the roll was just hard and stale, but I soon realized it was fresh and delicious. Nothing worse than crummy bread on your sando, but that wasn't the case here - it was good! The wait time was about ten minutes which always feels like forever when you're hungry but it was adequately staffed and they were just plugging away on multiple orders due to the lunch time rush. The girl at the cashier station spoke extremely fast. It was off-putting and made me feel like I was being rushed to my decision (Sun 11/19). Being that it was my first time at this chain and not knowing the menu, I felt like her rushed speech was intimidating for me. And when I was sitting and eating, I could hear her speaking the same to others and it was making me eat faster like she was setting the pace for me. It was kinda laughable between my friend and I but in reality it wasn't cool cause I was rushing food down my throat! Ha! I will go back for a deli sandwich, because I did enjoy it. Ive been here a few times and they give TERRIBLE customer service. The older lady with dark black hair, she's usually there most of the time- always looks miserable and never smiles. They completely forgot half of our order and we had to ask for the remaining sandwiches to be made- no apology just a bland "ok". And today the order took FOREVER!!! People who were well after us had received their orders first. We asked where our order was and the young man said "we are waiting on fries." Finally after going to the counter to grab my order. The lady pushes the bag towards me aggressively and says "Here!" I quietly walk away, I did not want to engage with this rude employee. Until I hear a smart tone under her breath "you're welcome". That's a second strike I was trying to keep quiet and be polite to avoid confrontation after their failure to expedite orders in a timely manner. I turn around and question her tone and attitude. Of course she looked shock and said "no, nothing." JUST TERRIBLE TO BE TREATED AND TALKED TO WHEN YOUR THE ONE MAKING CUSTOMERS WAIT AND YOU WANT TO BE CONDESCENDING. I had never heard of this place but it seems to be a chain centered around the central valley of California. It was right near our hotel in Marina so we had lunch here one day. Its similar to the Togos chain where they have different meat combos by number. You can have fries as a side which is different that Togos. Looks like you can also build your sandwich too. They have 4 sizes of sandwiches. We both went with the 2nd size and they were huge. Mom and I both had our sandwiches on dutch crunch bread. This was so good. Really crunchy outside with a soft inside. Mom had the Hot Pastrami & Provolone. She really enjoyed this. The meat was flavorful, not too spicy. I had the Turkey, Avocado, Sprouts & Swiss (I held the cheese). My sandwich had lots of meat and toppings. Really tasty turkey and avocado. The fries were really good. Crispy outside, soft inside and they even asked if I wanted ranch to dip them in. Nice touch. Overall a nice sandwich place. It would be great to add one in the South Bay. read more

Even when customers are stacked 10 deep, with delivery drivers demanding to have their orders met while the fry machine ever so slowly prepares their excellent beer battered fries. They remain cheerful in the face of rudeness and ridiculous.dands from the overly privileged. Go. Get a sandwich. I like the BLT without cheese, and the philly is excellent. I have gone here for years. They always had a decent French dip and great fries. It's been a little bit and went in tonight to order for the family. Ordered 3 French dips and 3 fries. They were not quick to take my order but that was not the issue. When they called my name and I asked for Ranch like I have a million times before (actually they used to ask me if I'd like ranch) the girl looks at me and says we charge extra for that. Mind you I just spent over $50 on 3 Sandwiches and fries. I inquired about the new charge and didn't get necessarily a rude response but she wasn't warm either. Made sure she charged me for the ranch and when I asked for ketchup for a second time she looked at me like I was really asking for too much. Got in the car and tried a frie and it was Luke warm and stale. They used to be cooked as you ordered and so fresh and hot when you got them. Came home and ate sandwich and I have to say this is the worst French dip I've ever had. Bread was stale and roast beef was dry. I do understand some days are off. And I try to give places the benefit of the doubt but I just hope this isn't their new normal. I'm not sure if there is new management or if the quality of food has gone down but they are not cheap so I really expected more than this. And the charge for 2 little ranch cups when I spent that much I felt was a bit disappointing. read more

As with all my reviews I don't only review the food but the service and attitude of the people working towards their employees. I was greeted by Axel who was super helpful and kind but just a little misleading. I asked what the sizes were and he said small, medium and large....but really there's a mini, small, medium and large. I ordered and made a mistake as I thought I was ordering a small but was actually ordering a mini-and then I was confused with pricing and requested I be charged for the kid price that was originally offered, but refused bc I wanted the two more inches for the same price basically. All that is confusing but the lady who came out to help solve the problem was not clear with the issue and tried to give me a $1.50 refund-I tried to say it was $2 plus tax and she basically showed me I was not the smart one and proceeded to process the $1.50. This is all change and it doesn't really matter-but then she scolded Axel who had been incredibly helpful and kind and welcoming to me and my son. So we got it figured out and then the lady who ordered five minutes after us got her sandwiches first...we waited another three minutes and got ours! To recap: Great food-a little pricey for sandwiches Axel is a rocking employee and mind and helpful. Employees are not very nice, younger girl at the register definitely didn't wanna be there, she seemed miserable and was being super rude to her co workers too... I am very disappointed. I love the food here, especially because they have amazing sweet potato fries, which are difficult to find. This store has really gone down hill. They don't have enough help. Tonight, on a Friday night, they only had two people working there. It took over half an hour for my food to be ready and one of my sandwiches was the wrong order. I've been on a sandwich kick recently, and Deli Delicious totally satisfied my cravings! I got the #21 with the works: turkey, avocado, sprouts, cream cheese (minus the cream cheese). It's a little pricier than Subway, but the taste and quality is exceptional! I got the small and while it wasn't quite as long as a footlong from Subway, the sandwich was completely stuffed with meat and veggies! They definitely don't skimp here. I went here a week or two before I tried Ike's for the first time, and although my friend preferred Ike's, I found the two very comparable! Deli delicious is a regular spot for us. We grab dinner a few nights a month there and always use the online order function. Typically the food is bomb, no complaints ever. Tonight not so much but I'm still giving 4 stars because we will be back again as I can't let one night ruin a good thing. My husband stood there, he was the only person inside, for quite awhile before anyone acknowledged him. I understand people are busy, but greet your customers or at least pretend to make an effort. I always get the ranch chicken sandwich, my fav, and tonight the portions were off and I had a really large, hard chunk of what looked like chicken skin inside my sandwich- kind of funky..and had ordered red onions on it but it had none put on. Deli Delicious really lives up to its name! I'd say this place is just as good as Ike's, maybe even better. You certainly get more in your sandwich here than Ike's for the same price. Their customer service is excellent. They really know what they are doing and how to treat their customers. It was also really busy and they just opened not too long ago, so that says something. I got a buffalo chicken & jack sandwich, it was amazing. The buffalo was definitely better than Ike's. I got a size medium and it was definitely worth it, I got full right away. I did the mistake of not sharing the fries with my friend because they are the perfect size to share. They messed up on my order but were quick to fix it. Highly recommend.
