We got here at 7:57 pm not realizing they close at 8. They still took our order and let us sit in the restaurant. The restaurant is clean and fresh interior . they had no attitude at all ! Guys! If you want an amazing meat filled sandwich, this is the place. I use to attend Fresno State and Deli Delicious was the place to go after class. They only use to be in the Fresno and Clovis area. I was so excited when one opened in Modesto. They cater, always listen to your requests and have great employees. We go almost once a week. The food is prepped well and they always check to see if you are satisfied with your food. Not only is it super good and fresh but you get your money's worth. Super clean area and great service. First time here and i'm happy i stopped by! i ordered the Monterey Ranch Chicken & Jack (#36) recommended to me by, i presume was the owner (or maybe just the cashier) Harry; who was so nice! I forgot to add avocado to my sandwich and Harry was kind enough to give me as much as i needed, free of charge. The sandwiches my friend and i ordered were not only good but they had a good portion to it as well. We also got an order of the fries that were nicely seasoned and crispy. I took my mother here for her first time on Thursday 11/30 got home only to find hair in our sandwich it made me so sick to my stomach. I called to speak with the manager and was told he was not in, I asked for his name and was told they didn't know!! Called Friday and was told the same thing except they gave me a manager name of Henry..called this morning explaining the situation for the 3rd time was told I didn't call on Thursday and the young lady said she was working that day and I never called as I was trying to explain she blurted out your not getting any money back I never asked for money I simply wanted to speak to the manager and of course explain how rude his staff is and how I paid for my food and didn't even get to eat it!!! Very disappointed! We ordered 3 sandwiches, and only 1 of them was correct. Two of the sandwiches were supposed to have bacon on them but they didn't. They got the cheese wrong too. There was no one else there, so it's not like the sandwich maker was busy. Very expensive for what we got. I called when we got home, and they really could've cared less about the screw up. Decided to try this place after a recommendation from a friend. So glad we did! My husband and I shared a 12in #38, with beer batter fries. It was delicious. The sandwich was big, very fresh, loaded with meat and fresh veggies and the fries were great. So glad we shared one order instead of ordering individual sandwiches, cause we were stuffed. I used to love coming here because their sandwiches are so amazing, but the last few times I've been in it has been SO HOT! I asked the employees and they told me their air was out and that it would be fixed very soon. I went in yesterday and it still hasn not been fixed! I walked in and was sweating immediately!
