I visited the location on Sunrise Boulevard because I promised our grand babies pizza after the movies. The problem was that it was 9PM when the movie was over & there were extremely limited places opened in the area that were opened. I called one of our sons & he referred us here because "they have really great pizza" & they were opened late. When we got there, they were hustling & bustling with To go & Carry Out orders. The menu is pretty varied with lots of pizza options. Walking in, we were greeted by very friendly faces who made us feel like family. The place is a quaint, family friendly & very clean space. We all LOVED it...both times. I absolutely loved that they had Contemporary Christian music piping through their sound system. I don't believe I've ever experienced that in a California restaurant. We opted for a 1/2 cheese & 1/2 pepperoni pizza for the grand babies & the Spartan for the rest of us. This is by far the BEST pizza I have EVER tasted! Even the cheese pizza was delicious!!! And it was pretty large. As you can see in the picture, they pile the fresh ingredients on. And the garlic white sauce is the best I've ever had...in my life!!! Rarely do I crave pizza so much that I get it two times within the same week. But, this place made me crave that Spartan Pizza with the garlic white sauce. I live in the Dallas area now & will be on a quest to find a pizza place that is comparable. This is my new fav for pizza every time I come to the Sacramento area! I shared leftovers with family friends & they enjoyed it as much as we did & will def be visiting one of their locations. I placed my order online and was unable to change the future time. I called in store and Ilona answered right away and she was able to adjust the time for me. Due to my schedule today, I called again and had to reschedule my pick up time. Again, Ilona picked up the phone and was able to complete my order right away. I really was surprised having read all the 5* teviews, but the pizza & cheese bread were not the quality to even merit the 3*s I am giving. The delivery was extremely fast so that earned them an extra star, the product on the pizza was very fresh but... no flavor in the sauce on my hubbys side & my "spicy" sauce tasted like pure Franks Lousiana Hot Sauce (WHAT?????), the thick crust was chewy, but tough. It tasted & felt old. We ordered cheese bread which was really good but were sent 5 tubs of ranch which I had declined but NO marinara (again, what??). I wish I knew what crust was on the cheese bread because that was really toothsome with perfect bite & flavor. Sadly we won't be back. They did provide paper plates and these funny paper napkins that are tissue weight (I actually am using them for tissues), packets of parm & dried peppers. Good things. But the pizza was a fail. After 10 mins of calling with no answer, I called another delish store and asked if this location was open and she took my info and said she'd try to call them. 45 minutes after the delivery time, my fiance left to go get something else. As he was leaving, the delivery person came. $38 for cold, late inedible food. We could understand if you were busy and running behind, but no one called us. No one communicated. I can't say enough good things about this place. First, the variety of pizza toppings and sauces has been a game changer. I cannot eat tomato sauce due to heartburn but now I can have delicious pizza without it. Though I can eat pizza, I LOVE the garlic parmesan wings. The wings aren't too crispy or too soft, and have a lot of "meat" on them. They are just perfect and the sauce is SO flavorful! The same goes for the pasta. I recently tried the creamy pesto pasta and it was the best thing I ate in a long while. I have none of the anxiety that typically accompanies ordering online and wondering how the food will be delivered or come out. Decided to give this local pizza place a try since they deliver to our area. The pizza that we ordered was fresh and delivered super fast. The guests that we had over were amazed that they asked "Wow where is this from?" I guess they knew it did not have that Round Table or Mountain Mikes taste...and it is a good thing because you could tell it had that Restaurant style taste like if it is a sit-down restaurant type.
