Business class. Extra leg room and free drinks!

Delta is one of my favorite airlines. Alaska is slowly ruining their customer service and benefits. Delta comfort + and first class is the way to go, leg room and drinks. Love the sky lounge access before a flight too.

How can you not like Delta? With over a 100 years of flying, Delta has come a long way and leaving the other airlines behind. First class to delta comfort is the way to travel. Still have monitors so you're not wasting your cell phone battery or downloading movies before you fly like some other airlines. Booking is easy and they always have an upgrade option at lower prices (if you time it right). Great customer service and flights always land on time and even earlier. If there's a Delta flight to your destination, BOOK IT!! AA or United is on my do not fly list as Delta leads in the best airline.....but who is number one? Stand-by for more reviews.

DELTA AIRLINES @ SEA TAC AIRPORT Delta is my top tier favorite airline. The staff is ALWAYS friendly on board, and I really enjoy tracking my flight easily, and Delta has a great partnership with T-Mobile, which allows me free wifi! Pretty awesome. It can get crowded at the gate, however, it's still easy to snatch a spot at another gate close by. The bathrooms are near, and it's very easy to follow through. I really enjoy using Delta, and i'm not even a sky member haha! Would recommend!

This review for Delta Air Lines is based on our latest flights into and out Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). Delta is our preferred airline. In recent years, it's consistently proven to be the best in terms of on-time departures and arrivals, comfort and amenities, and customer service. Our flights to and from Seattle were no exception. To Seattle, we flew from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL), non-stop, on an Airbus A321neo. The total travel time estimate, gate to gate, according to the Delta app was 5 hours 26 minutes. Actual time was 5 hours 30 minutes. My wife and I boarded in Zone 5 of 8 and sat in Seats 29E and F (Main Cabin). The flight cost $263.48 per person and was booked 35 days in advance. The total cost for this leg was $526.96 for the two of us. From Seattle, we flew to San Francisco International Airport (SFO), non-stop, on an Embraer 175. The total travel time estimate, gate to gate, according to the Delta app was 2 hours 16 minutes. Actual time was 1 hour 56 minutes. My wife and I boarded in Zone 5 of 8 and sat in Seats 15C and D (Main Cabin). The flight cost $208.47 per person and was booked 36 days in advance. The total cost for this leg was $416.94 for the two of us. For each trip, the times above include taxi time at both airports. Both flights were clean and comfortable with good service. They were everything we've come to expect from Delta. We enjoyed all the complimentary snacks including the popular and classic Lotus Biscoff cookies, 88 Acres Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Seed and Oat Bars ("granola bars"), Nuts.com Roasted Almonds (lightly salted), and the too-tiny bags of Garden Salsa SunChips. One flight attendants gave me double snacks while another offered me more than one kind of snack (e.g., cookies *and* chips). In general, lately, I've been getting the almonds more than anything else. As good as they are, I got tired of the Biscoff cookies. Drink-wise, my wife and I have been favoring the Mr & Mrs T Bloody Mary Mix. It's delicious. I've also been getting the Fever-Tree Club Soda and tried Seagram's Ginger Ale mixed with Cranberry Juice on the ATL to SEA flight (after seeing another passenger get it). The flight attendant who served the mixed drink wanted me to let her know how it was - it was yummy. My wife and I have gotten spoiled by Delta Studio, the in-flight entertainment with seatback screens. Our short flight from SEA to SFO on the E-175 didn't have seatback screens, but it did have free Wi-Fi (both flights had free Wi-Fi "presented" by T-Mobile). The Wi-Fi was sometimes spotty, with service going in and out, and slow; for example, it might take several seconds for an Instagram Reel or Story video to load. However, for the most part, the Wi-Fi was usable and I was happy to have it. Also, these flights were the first time I noticed that I can now send SMS texts while in the air. Previously, I could only send messages through Google Chat, Facebook Messenger, and WhatsApp. In-flight SMS texting is a nice addition.

2 people working and 40 people in line to check in..half of us missed the flight due to standing in line for 90 minutes.

Whatever you do, think twice about traveling thru Seattle if you are booked with Delta Airlines. I've never seen such disorganized chaos..Arrived at 5am for a 7:10 flight to San Diego and missed the flight..upon arrival there was well over 40 people in line and this was directly due to Delta having 2 people working to check individuals in. At 5am, there needs to be more than 2 people working! Overall it just seems there are very limited flights to destinations such as Southern California and other parts of the country, as all you hear throughout Delta's terminal is "we have a full flight and apologize for the delay"...seems like there is an issue with the planning and Operations of their flights out of SeaTac...just not enough available aircraft, pilots, or a need to reevaluate their flight schedules.

Overall 4 Stars: Delta is my go to airline when flying domestically. And no, this is not sponsored. Though it is not the best in the world, ranked 15th (2023) ratings, it is ranked 1 (2020-2023) from the big 3 US airlines. I recently had the opportunity to fly from home to AK. The airport hub is in Jackson which is a 90 minutes drive for me. Which is an inconvenience, but that's okay. My flight started very early in the morning and ended late in the evening; about a 16 hr travel time. With that said let me rate the Five factors: 1. Customer service 2. On time status 3 Plane 4. IFE (in-flight entertainment) 5. Food 1. Customer Service: 4 stars. - The staff at the gates were pleasant and friendly. - All the flight attendants were attentive, pleasant and had a smile. Service of drinks and food were quick and efficient. Our flight attendant checked frequently if we needed anything and he was very accommodating. 2. On time status: 3 stars - flight from JAN - ATL - SEA were on time even though we had a delay on the tarmac at each airport. From SEA - ANC- there was a 90 minute delay due the plane departing from Cabo, crew changeover and cleaning 3. Plane - First Class Seat ONLY: 3.5 stars - I had the opportunity to fly First Class on the Airbus A321NEO and it was a wonderful experience however the bottom cushion was thinner than expected. The seat itself was spacious with fine stitching, decent leg room, and had little bit of privacy near the head area. But being on a 4.5 hr flight, the "bum-bum" was feeling the bottom seat more than it needed to. Had to shift my rear from left to right occasionally or stand up. It needed another 1" of memory foam cushion to make it more comfortable. 4. IFE and WiFi - 3.5 Stars. The ATL - SEA leg was about 4.5 hrs and there were a decent amount of Movies, Shows, and Audio. But the Star of the show was the Flight Tracker due to the size of the screen. Of course being in First Class, the seats are wider, a larger screen was installed. The Flight Tracker software had zero lags and the visual display was clear crisp. WiFi - Delta has free WiFi but is limited. I would it do a lot of intensive work using their WiFi. 5. Food: 3.5 stars My trip started from JAN - ATL which is only 50 minute flight. So, just water and coffee is normally served. However due to turbulence, no drinks were served on the flight for the safety of the crew and passengers. Unless you were in First Class where a small bottle water is waiting at your seat at the time of departure. Now the ATL - SEA flight was much better. Bottle water is waiting at your seat and when you are settled, flight member ask if you would like a pre-departure drink; which is normal when flying in First or Business class. Food was served hour and half after departure. I ordered the Chicken meal (4 Stars). When I received the meal, it was plated nicely with a chopped salad, lemon bar dessert, and cheese crackers as compliments to the main meal. To my surprised the Chicken was cold and was considered a "cold meal" not a hot meal such as the Braised Short Ribs. So don't expect a hot chicken meal. The Delta Menu item didn't list it as a cold meal. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it and it was very refreshing. The salad was good but "Delta's" Meal Selection for this flight was incorrect when it came to some of the ingredients. Tell me what you think is missing from the salad. The lemon bar dessert was so-so. Slight lemon taste but you can tell the dessert has been prepared a while ago. You can taste the dough base as wet and gummy. The cheese crisp was a nice surprised. Had little bit of spices baked in the cheese crisps. I use them to as part of my chicken salad utensil. SEA - ANC: I ordered the Beef Short Ribs (4.5 Stars). It was hot and tasted good. The French green beans were Al dente', porcini mushrooms were marinated from the short ribs a' jus and the whipped potatoes were smooth and creamy. The short ribs were so tender you can use your fork to separate the meat. Nothing to complain on this one. I enjoyed this meal more than the Glazed Smoke Chicken. DRINKS: Delta has discontinued the Espresso Martini which is a bummer cuz I finally wanted to taste their version of it. It was replaced with a can version of a margarita. Not so good to me.

Our aircraft was grounded due to a wheel problem, and all passengers were asked to deplane. I understand that safety must always come first, and I appreciate that the airline chose not to take unnecessary risks. Unfortunately, everything that followed was handled poorly. An Alaska Airlines representative rebooked me from my original itinerary, which was scheduled to arrive around 3:30 p.m., to the last flight of the night, changing my arrival time to approximately midnight. When I questioned the change, I was told to go to the standby gate in Seattle because they could not change my reservation back to the earlier flight, but the gate agents there would be able to help. I followed those instructions exactly. When I arrived at the standby gate, I discovered that Alaska Airlines had not completed the reservation correctly, and I still could not board an earlier flight. I was forced to remain on the last flight of the night because of the airline's mistake. While I was trying to resolve the issue with a gate agent, another employee who identified himself as the supervisor interrupted our conversation and began having a personal discussion with the agent while I was standing there waiting for assistance. It was disrespectful and incredibly frustrating to be ignored while trying to solve a problem created by the airline. When I expressed my frustration, the supervisor simply told me to go to Customer Service elsewhere in the terminal instead of allowing the agent to continue helping me. Fortunately, I eventually met Cesar at Customer Service. He was, without question, the most professional, courteous, and helpful employee I encountered that day. He listened, understood the situation, and genuinely worked to help resolve it. Cesar deserves recognition for providing the level of customer service every Alaska Airlines employee should strive to deliver. Mechanical problems happen, and passengers understand that. What is much harder to accept is poor communication, conflicting information, lack of follow-through, and employees who seem unwilling or unable to solve problems. Instead of taking ownership, I was sent from one employee to another while my travel plans continued to deteriorate. Passengers deserve to be treated with respect and should be able to rely on the airline to honor the transportation they purchased or provide competent assistance when disruptions occur. My experience fell far short of that expectation. With the exception of Cesar, every interaction I had left me feeling that customer service was not a priority. Alaska Airlines should invest in better communication, employee training, and empowering frontline staff to resolve customer issues instead of passing passengers from one desk to another. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Alaska Airlines. Safety should never be compromised, but neither should customer service. An airline is judged not by whether problems occur, but by how it treats its passengers when they do. Unfortunately, Alaska Airlines failed that test.

You will be pestered with emails suggesting to pay for this and that in advance to make your trip more pleasant or predictable. You MAY be asked to prove that your hand luggage fits in their size bins (there were two next to my gate with stern warnings, so you can try in advance). You CAN pay through the app in the airport if you need to convert your personal item into a carry-on but that will eat some of the savings. The seats do not tilt; because of that the seating area is actually wider and pant size 42 man comfortably fits with no intrusion to the neighboring space. IMHO 44 should fit too. Your flight crew WILL be nice and bottomless tea or coffee will be 4 bucks. The lavatory is, probably, not cleaned between the flights. I was first and the seat was already "sprinkled" and one of two rolls of toilet paper was already down to the bare core. Short delays are very common with Frontier (at least on LAX-SEA they are) but usually they recover most of it through the flight. My flight left 20 minutes late but arrived on-time. If you fly with just the "personal item" AKA small backpack 18x14x8", accept the toilet situation (I am not saying that they never clean, only that on my flight it was not - for sure), and OK with the need to walk / take a free shuttle from the gate to the airplane, you will save 35%. If you have carry on, you will save ~15%, and if you are flexible with your travel dates, you will fly half-price comparing to the major airlines. The caveat is the usual - no changes and no upgrades of anything.

They then continued talking extremely loudly to the extent that I and several people seated near me thought the conversation was coming out of the overhead speakers. Their conversations consisted of a kind of flirty exchange where the woman was sharing her entire dating life, stories about being drunk and even saying that she has 6 months clean. They continued talking extremely loudly despite multiple passengers looking back and questioning how they could be so unaware. The plane was extremely quiet as many people were returning from Las Vegas so extremely tired and trying to nap. After about 45 minutes, I went to the bathroom near them and politely asked if they realized that the whole back half of the plane e could hear their entire conversation. The response was that this is how they keep themselves awake on the job and began laughing and exchanging undermining and outwardly rude glances. I went back to my seat and about 10 minutes later, a man who was two rows from the back of the plane stood up and asked something similar to the following...would you guys mind keeping it down? We have spent the entire time on this flight listening to your discussions about inappropriate subjects and we would appreciate it if you would remain professional and spare us the details of your personal lives. They laughed and did not respond at which point t he said, "no wonder the higher up's don't like you." They continued to converse loudly and snicker about the passengers requests. At one point a different flight attendant approached them and we thought she would be asking them to quiet down but within moments she was laughing and clearly not informing them that they were out of line. At this time, I was filming and attempting to Document the situation. The woman then approached my seat and demanded that I stop recording. She had a red card and said if I did not stop recording she would hand the red card and I would be met by the police upon landing. When I tried to explain the situation, she said that she was unaware of that and when I asked for a supervisor, she stated the there was no supervisor on board and reminded me that it is against privacy rules to Record anyone without their permission. Overall, this was the worst flight I have ever experienced. The lack of professionalism and common courtesy was astounding. I will never fly with Frontier again.

I mean, at this point what can I really say about Spirit that we all don't already know?…read more I still say in certain situations; they can be a decent fit. Take our recent quick 2-day trip from LAS to SEA. Roundtrip tickets were barely over $100 per person round trip. Holy crap! Say what you want, but that is a real good price! Bag fees are tricky for me. If I have a short trip I don't need to pack a lot. No matter what you do, you do get a free personal item. That is really calling it too tight for comfort, IMO. So, for this last trip I did an upgrade on their website for $35 per way, per person ($140.00 total). My extra $140 got us assigned seating to sit next to my partner for both flights near the front of the plane for both legs. It also got both of us a free carry-on item each, both ways in addition to our personal item. More than enough for a 2-day trip! Considering the fact that, if you checked in a bag at the airport day of, it could cost you $65 per bag, per leg that feels like a great deal! I mean, even with the extra money my total ticket price is still under $200 each round trip. I can totally live with that! As for the flights themselves, it is still Spirit so keep your expectations reasonable (read:low). Both flights were delayed, but nothing too bad. Usual mix of some very nice employees and some mildly passive ones as well. Nothing too bad. Honestly, I can bitch all I want, but I know for the right price and a short enough trip I will use them again. 3 stars.

The airline is known for offering flights to the most destinations around the world. I flew on Turkish a few years ago from Seattle to Thessaloniki via Istanbul during spring break. For the most part, it was a good experience. The pluses are mostly with the in-flight experience. They use Dreamliner planes and serve tasty meals on all flights, including my short haul flights to and from Greece. The IFE system has extensive entertainment and they give all passengers an amenity bag on long haul flights. Lastly, the baggage allowance is generous as you can check in 2 bags. I do also want to bring up some items to consider booking on Turkish. My flight to Istanbul was nearly a hour late, but I still made my connection. Try not to book flights with short layovers. Also some of the connections have long layovers to destinations in the Middle East and Central Asia with flights arriving at odd hours. You may want to consider doing a stopover in Istanbul instead, which Turkish has a good program for. Lastly, gate security in Istanbul is extensive. So expect a thorough check of your carryon items before your flight. Overall, I enjoyed flying on Turkish. It is a well run airline with good fares to Europe and a great in-flight experience. However, you should consider travel time, especially layovers and the amount of backtracking needed to get to your destination when deciding whether to book.

Had amazing experience flying from Seattle to Helsinki to my home country Latvia with Finnair…read more Finnair expanded their flights and I was happy to see that I can fly trough Helsinki instead of Frankfurt to my home country out of Seattle because layover was shorter and it's also only 1 hour flight from Helsinki to Riga. Finnair partner up with British airways business lounge and it was very decent food and drinks (compare what I had with Lufthansa last year few celery sticks and a cookie). The lounge wasn't so big and one can hear some rude people speaking loud on their phones but it had a nice view of the runway. Our flight was on time and I was settling in my Business class seat after short boarding process. They welcomed me with the drink ( I choose their signature blueberry juice and Northern Blush cocktail -must try) and they also provide amenity kit (which was disappointing) It didn't had toothbrush or any socks, also their cream had very bad smell and texture. I hope they will improve that. The wireless phone charger didn't work for me because my phone has a case and it was not picking it up. Pillow blanket and pad were provided, also I noticed that I didn't got any slippers because when I was leaving the plane I saw many people had same slippers. Food was very good on the way there. I had for an appetizer crab meat with mayo mousse, caprese salad and nice piece of salmon with veggies. For dessert I had raspberry tart with tea. And plenty of blueberry juice- thats my favorite! (Unfortunately food on the way back wasn't great. They ran out of their signature drink Northern Blush at Helsinki which is Finnair hub!!! Smocked salmon on the way back was too salty and too smocked. Weird food options like shrimp quiche for breakfast or pork dinner which is not so appealing even to person that doesn't have any dietary restrictions. Both breakfast and dinner were bad, breakfast looked poor and tasted poor and dinner I couldn't even eat. Also why to serve cauliflower as a side on a long haul flights). Important to note seat doesn't recline but it lay flat! So you can't adjust it for a recliner like on other planes. Also belt is like in a car. But it didn't bothered me because I could adjust leg part of the seat but not the back. Entertainment was good and they had a lot of good new movies available. I wasn't bored at all! I watch Missis Harris goes to Paris (what an amazing inspirational movie) and The unbearable weight of massive talent. Bed was cozy and I had 4 h nap and woke up to breakfast. Hour and a half before landing in Helsinki they served us Breakfast which was very generous. It had cheese & ham, croissant, bread muffin, fruits, omelette, yogurt and mini jam. I was full and ready to spend 6 h layover at Helsinki! (Originally was 1h40m but then they changed it) Enjoyed my flight and definetely will consider again. Hopefully they will keep their good pricing compare to Swiss and Lufthansa!

I was a bit skeptical at first as I had originally booked with British Air, only to find out that the flights were operated by Finnair. Thankfully, there was clear communication regarding flight details once booked. Onboard, the cabin crew were exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring all passengers were comfortable. The meals served were well proportioned for "airline food." You must try their signature blueberry juice! There was a slight delay departing Seattle, but I had no issues with my connecting flight in Helsinki. All of my other flights took off on time, and we arrived a few minutes early each time. The only drawback is with luggage. My particular ticket was for carry-on luggage only. Finnair has a max combined weight of 8kg (~17.5 lbs), which can be difficult to meet with most suitcases. I used a light-weight travel backpack and just barely made the cutoff. Overall, Finnair exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend them for anyone traveling from Seattle, WA to Vilnius, Lithuania. I will be flying with Finnair again!
