I recently moved to Richmond from Austin, TX...both our cars are German (Audi and VW), and both are now ofgicialy out of warranty, so hooray, I researched mechanics to avoid spending money at some dealership which lacks that human touch. The people at Delta V were incredible, as was the shop "dog" I played with in the morning I went--so cute.. shed lay down with her ball and push it to me with her paw and await the next throw everytime. My 2015 Golf-R needed all sorts of stuff I knew was coming ahead of time, so new front rotors and brakes, flushing brake fluid and radiator, Haldex Service, and the usual oil filter, air filter, and cabin filter and an inspection to top things off. I feel like my car is ready to go for the next year and was pretty stoked I didn't have to come back w the mailer coupon I had forgotten for a nice discount on $1500+ spent as they honored it with no fuss. There is nothing better than dealing with an honest mechanic rather than some go-between clerk, and my service experience was both timely and professionally handled. Trust is everything when you're far from home. I brought my Alltrack to Delta V Eurowerks in Richmond 2 days after a 1,500-mile trek from San Antonio. During the trek, I was getting an EPC code and the Alltrack went into limp mode three times on the trip, not fun when it kicks in at 80 mph. My service advisor, Aiden, was professional and transparent about the work that needed to be done. The master mechanics at DeltaV diagnosed and fixed a faulty fuel injector and water pump. Yes, it was costly! But a few days later, after another 1,500 mile trek back to San Antonio while cruising confidently at autobahn speeds, I can say the quality of the repairs was worth it. My car started to overheat so I took it to Delta V because of the great reviews. Unfortunately, they told me I had a blown head gasket and that my car was "toast" and I should get rid of it. They tried to charge me $160 just for a diagnostic. I had my car towed to another mechanic for a second opinion and all I needed was to replace the radiator and thermostat. I hate to write a negative review, but their diagnostic caused me a lot of stress. read more

As an auto enthusiast and BMWCCA member, I did my due diligence before taking my recently acquired vehicle here and could find nothing but positive things about Glenn and Delta V anywhere I looked. They definitely didn't disappoint and despite my tight schedule, they were able to fit me in on a Monday morning despite me only making my appointment the previous Friday. When dropping my vehicle off I told Glenn that I had a lunch meeting, and he assured me that my vehicle would be done in time. My vehicle was done when promised, and his shop was able to find something that a recent PPI (that I had paid for at an out of state BMW dealer the previous Thursday-it was definitely an existing condition) did not turn up (I paid for the top of the line PPI which included pulling codes and they were supposedly thorough). One other cool thing about Delta V is the fact that every client gets access to an online portal which allows you to track all of the work done at their shop. It is totally free, and is great if you are like me and are always misplacing paperwork. Glenn is definitely a class act and I will definitely be taking my vehicle here in the future. read more

First I must tell you that we had previously received a quote to fix our 2002 Volkswagon Beetle for upwards of $3200 so it sat for almost six months. I had also taken it to two other shops only to be told later that they don't work with anything too complicated. As a last ditch effort to get the car running after sitting so long, I did some research and found these guys. Instead of quotes over $3000 these folks called and told me that it's all done and the final figure is $297. I put the vehicle through its paces over the last couple of days and it runs fantastic. It's a bit of a drive for me but they will be doing all the auto work for my wife's VW from here on out. Friendly staff also. Glad to finally run into an honest auto repair shop. read more

I have to start by saying that I did not use their service, but I felt they deserved the feedback. I contacted several repair facilities to have work done on my 2003 VW Passat. The repair was not inexpensive so I wanted to get several quotes. I called Glen at Delta V and was given a fair quote. He was very thorough, very knowledgeable and took all the time I wanted to explain the process. I learned a few things I didn't know. I promised I would let him know either way and Glen did follow up with me once just to check in. I called Glen and told him that I had made a tough decision to have the work done elsewhere. To my surprise he asked me who I had decided to go with and I told him. What followed next was something you rarely find in business...Glen actually gave the shop I had chosen a very good reference and said that they were fine people to deal with. Of course I knew this, since both companies had very high feedback ratings, but to hear it from the competition...I was surprised. So sadly I will not yet own a BMW, but it was the best $100 to spend! (it didn't make it past the qualifying rounds of checks, so it did not get a leak-down test which would have upped the cost, but this shop is smart enough to call!) So thanks again Glenn for a great experience and for helping dodge a bullet. Also just mentioning they now have an in-house detailer. Before selling my MX5 I had it detailed and I have to say it never looked better. The attention to detail is great, you have the option to skip or go more in-depth on your car depending on condition and budget. Given the impending Snowmageddon, I threw a Hail Mary call to Glenn at Delta V just before 7AM this morning to see if he could swap out my summer wheels and tires for my winter set. To my surprise, he called me just after 8AM to tell me he could oblige. The guys started at the job shortly after my arrival and 45 minutes/$50 later I was on my way home. Can't beat that! It's worth noting that the guys were very thorough. They let me know that my rear brake pads were down to 4mm and would likely need changed when I come back to put my summer tire swap. I recently bought a new set of tires from Tire rack and used Delta V as the installer. I got a call from them stating the tires had arrived the day after ordering them. I was able to drop the car off the next morning and had a quick, 3 hour, turn around. The process was smooth. I was able to get it towed to delta v and they worked on the the next day. They were very communicative about the issues with my car via text and phone call, and let me know that the part I needed replaced could be under warranty (it was). I was able to call the dealership and get the part replaced for free, and delta v only charged me for the product they used in my car, despite the fact that they had to unload my jam packed trunk to identify the issue. As a woman who knows NOTHING about cars, I always worried I'll end up paying for things I don't need, or get overcharged drastically. These people were AMAZING, very honest and communicative, and it's the only place I'll take my car from here on out! I've been using Delta V for the past 4 years and have never received anything short of exceptional service from them. I was sad when I moved away from Northern Virginia where I had an amazing place to take my 325i but luck have it there was just as good a place right near me called DeltaV. They are super accommodating when it comes to making appointments, and they do a quick turnaround. I love supporting local businesses and this is as good and as local as they come. Never take your BMW to a dealer to get serviced (Unless it's under warranty and it is paid for) go to these guys, they are the best! Very reasonable prices and THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT! They are passionate about serving their clients and equally passionate about BMWs. I love just going in there and looking at the cars they have in their shop.
