Second time I ordered penne vodka that had little or no sauce. I actually took a picture if I decide to ever go bac k to prove that there was sauce on top but barely any on bottom. Off the f-ing chart! Seriously we have nothing as phenomenal like this in Oregon . We had a huge spread of pizza, baked ziti, chicken parm, Italian sausage and meatballs. It was off the hook! I grew up on Denino's pizza in Staten Island. What a treat to see Carlo's son carry on the tradition in NJ. A stroke of luck that I even found it. I was actually surprising my son with a Ralph's ice after a baseball game before our long ride home and mentioned how we would always get an ice after Denino's and I look up to see them three doors down. I'm so glad I went in. A chef taking an apple break and the three girls at the front welcomed me in. They along with another customer (Staten Island transplant) said I would not be disappointed. I immediately ordered five pies, uncut and underdone to take on my way. Huge shout out to the pizza maker for knowing exactly what I wanted and making it all to perfection. When we finally got home, we broke out the chicken, bacon ranch (ranch on side and added after heating) and a plain. Oh my gosh, just like I remembered, the crust, the sauce, just the right amount of cheese. Absolutely EPIC! The other three pies (plain, pepperoni, meatball) have gone into the deep freeze (after being completely cooled and re-wrapped outside the cardboard box) and will be savored for another day. Most likely the weekend, who am I kidding? Thank you for a trip down memory lane. And thank you for the friendly hospitality! Do yourself a favor and have yourself a taste of greatness. We have probably had at least 100 pizzas from DeNinos in Aberdeen over the years. Each one delicious and as good as the last. Whether dining in or taking out, perfect everytime. Today we picked up our usual two pies... horrible. The crust was like a rock. The pie didn't even look the same. My husband waited for it when he got there (which is ok), yet it was hard and cold after a five minute drive home. What's happening? Franchise?? Please don't ruin a good thing! We'll give it one more try, hoping maybe the pizza guy was off today. But for $50 for two pies with a couple toppings, it needs to be good, everytime. read more

Stopped by to pick up some quick lunch on 7/5/24 and it was pretty quiet. It was easy to order and there is a very simple menu. French fries were great and so was the penne vodka. The penne vodka did have a sweeter note to it and wasn't as creamy as usual. The "garbage" pie was a bit on the drier end but this place did not skimp on the toppings. read more

Was in there last night & it was our 2nd time. Pizza is good. Small & crowded. Staff was not the friendliest. What made us decide to not go back again was the music that was being played & workers singing/dancing to as we sat and tried to have dinner. The entire front staff was singing & dancing to Drake's "Rich Baby Daddy." If you don't know the song, google it cause it's not something to have dinner to. I grew up on Staten Island and I use to go to Denino's out there and right after across the street was the original Ralph's ices! I was so happy that the Denino's is Aberdeen is just like the one on Staten Island! Calamari was spot on crispy and all Rings! Cesar salad was delicious and the pizza was spot on perfect!! The service was excellent and as busy as they are on a Friday night they hustle to get you seat and fed as fast as possible. Pleasant experience all the way from the host, waiteress, servers, and a pleasant greeting from the owner himself. The place has an old style pizzeria feel and to me I love it! I highly recommended this place if you're looking for an excellent slice of pizza. read more

Hands down the BEST pizza in town. We also had the shrimp parm with vodka sauce and it was delicious! The service is ok, as they can sometimes be under staffed, but it makes up for it on the food. They have been around forever and word on the street is this location (Aberdeen) is better than the other location (Brick). I will have to test that theory out. This was my third time here, and I'm sure I'll be here again. If you're in the area, I'd definitely try them out. I give Denino's Pizza Palace the award of WORST ITALIAN HERO BY FAR! I could not believe how bad their Italian Hero was last night when I ordered it for a take out dinner. The bread was stale, there was no lettuce, no olive oil or mustard, and the minimal amount of meat passable.
