Food was good, it was early morning and food came reasonably fast. Orders were correct.

Crispy Brussels sprouts had great flavor but way too much cayenne pepper (which adds nothing but heat) my husband ate them but said he would prefer less heat. I had 2 bites and gave up. Baked brie was amazing I loved the granny Smith apples! My husband loved them too. We also got the hummus duo which has dates on it and I used a date in the brie that was fantastic! I'll ask for that next time! It was the bomb. Hummus duo was good the watermelon radish was beautiful on the plate but gave both hummus a bitter flavor. Shrimp and grits. We live in Alabama currently and this was our least favorite dish of the day. Shrimp were cooked well and so were the grits but there was just something else it needed. Parmesan cheese and some onions maybe. Greek salad delicious. The flash fried chick peas made it. We needed more dressing and the wait staff was prompt and sweet about it. Spicy Lime Ceasar was ok till he requested more dressing then it was amazing. I was afraid of ordering it but the dressing wasn't too spicy . White sangria I had was disappointing it was more of a 1995 wine spritzer than a wine infused with citrus which is the very essence of sangria. It was ok and had I ordered a wine spritzer I would say yummo but I ordered sangria. Pork Belly flat bread was the winner of the night the tomato jam made that dish. I would love more on it next time but we will definitely be ordering that dish again! Yes we had a lot of left over food! But I love sampling a menu and this menu has a lot to offer. We will be back to try 4 or five other things. I look forward to my return.

In a rare turn of events, both kids got the same thing, the Korean chicken bites with the sauce on the side, which was a great decision bc it did have a kick to it. The chicken itself was a bit dry. Both adults also got the pork belly flatbread. I found it a bit unbalanced with too much sauce and not enough other toppings, and the base wasn't as crispy as I prefer. Speaking of crispy, we opted for the appetizer brussel sprouts, and they were a bit chewy and on the not so super crispy side. Service was fine, and glad to have a little break from heavier New Mexican cuisine on this night. Lots of variety on the cocktail and adult beverage menu too.

We probably sampled about 3 dozen restaurants throughout that time with various meals. We ate at high end steak houses and hidden away dive bars. We enjoyed many different food genres including probably 5-6 Mexican/Southwestern themed restaurants. Some of the meals were incredible and some were incredibly disappointing. None came close to the PERFECTION of what we ate at Albuquerque City Limits!! Located to the west of the city center, this restaurant holds a pretty unassuming looking exterior in a suburban strip mall. You don't walk in the door expecting to eat the best meal of the year. But here we are! I had the green chili chicken enchilada platter- and I know the picture looks delicious, but trust me, it tastes even better. My daughter has chicken tacos and loves hers. The beans that accompany the platters are freaking amazing, seasoned perfectly. The rice is super tasty and flavorful. The green chile is obviously going to be great, being from Albuquerque. The plates come with a fresh, warm sopaipilla and honey. As a nice special treat, they give a free bowl of natillas to every first time visitor! Price wise, this restaurant is beyond fair. Service? Oh my gosh, what genuinely FRIENDLY folks!! Will we return on our next SW escape? Ab-so-freaking-lutely.

Four stars instead of 5 because they were out of quite a few things - like fried pickles and a few other things. I got a side of sweet potato fries and they were so tasty - air fried I believe. Also got chicken wings. I almost never eat wings but because they were out of what I wanted I got the wings. They too were likely air fried. Really very good. Prices are pretty fair. Never quite busy - kind of off the beaten path location. Good parking.

The restaurant is tucked away a bit from the road so it may be a little hard to see on your first visit. My dining companion and I arrived at 11:30 so we were a little ahead of the noon time rush. Friendly staff greeted us and seated us. Very interesting decor. If you lean toward the artistic side, you will see touches that will remind you of the infamous meow wolf. It's a focused menu. I went for the classic burger. They call their fries Spudnik and they have a very interesting cut. The potato shape is like a broad, curling wedge, but these are not curly fries. I asked for the smashed burger and it came out with a nice crispy touch. I enjoyed the blue cheese dressing. The brioche bun is very tasty. I would rate this Burger as tops.

Naugahyde booths, velvet Elvises, it always seems to be somebody's Grandma's birthday, and the steaks are great. (They flat top them in actual butter!) So, not healthy, but a fine indulgence. Even though they are a steakhouse, we often go for their burgers. The green chile is HOT! The staff is always friendly and there is also a package store attached, so the choices for cocktails are secretly more abundant than what is on the printed menu. I work in the sun all day, so it is nice to curl up in a booth in this dark room with my husband after work. It is not fancy, but everything you want in a dive.

Yes it's divey, but in a way that taste buds don't care about. If you recall Hell or High Water, this feels like that cafe, but less sassy a wait staff. Decor is lots of old wood, leather booths, neon signs. It sort of feels like Old Vegas. Old, but not run down, classy in it's age. Drinks are dive bar classics Cape Cod on a menu, Sutter Home and Cavit. LIIT, lmeon drop, tequila sunrise, what are we 12 now. I actually like a bohemia, shiner, guiness (not on tap) with my dinner. Their early week special is a 14oz boneless strip which is beefy and juicy, don't over cook this as it will toughen up. Their late week prime rib is thick, tender and wall to wall pink. They do have horseradish if you ask. Their ribeyes are on the smaller side, but very good quality. They have their own butcher and not a chef who does the butchery. The baked potat is generous sized and well accompanied. Prices are decent, quality is good and portions are excellent. Feels more midwest than southwest in vibe, but the Greek immigrant influence is interesting as I'm curious how Bakalava and dolmas and a shish kabob might taste. The Ham & cheese and grilled cheese just seem out of place, but not more than seeing Milk on the menu.....with sizes offered. My ideal meal here is the late week speciall prime rib, with fried shimp and chopped green chilis. Fried mozzarella sticks and a shrimp cocktail to start. They let you order cold center which is how I like my porterhouse and ribeyes. The salads don't come with tomatoes, but their burgers do, weird. Lots of Locals, but not a locals only joint, plenty of travelers being pointed this way makes this feel a little like a classy TRH.

This charming little bistro near the south end of Old Town is elegant, welcoming, and truly a hidden gem. Having convenient on-site parking was a nice bonus, and we were warmly welcomed as soon as we arrived. Our server, Christopher, made the evening even more memorable. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He also took the time to recommend several local restaurants and places to visit, which we really appreciated. We started with the mussels, and they were outstanding--fresh, tender, and served in a rich, spicy butter broth with perfectly toasted crusty bread for dipping. My cedar plank salmon was cooked beautifully, full of flavor, and paired with a delicious chorizo risotto. My husband ordered the filet mignon, and after trying a bite, I can understand why he said it was one of the best steaks he's ever had. The mushroom risotto and seasonal vegetables were the perfect complement, and the fresh salad with homemade dressing was a great start to the meal. To top off the evening, the staff surprised me with a three-flavor sherbet dessert complete with a birthday candle and a thoughtful personalized birthday card. It was such a sweet touch that made me feel truly celebrated. We couldn't leave without trying the German chocolate cake, and it was the perfect ending to an unforgettable dinner. Everything from the food to the service exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to come back and try more of the menu the next time we're in town.
