Solid three stars for friendly service staff and quick airport service but the food was lacking. The waffle was flat and thin and syrupy was grossly sticky and not a quality Maple Syrup that I am inclined! The egg was powder and the fried chicken wings were darkly fried from the very hot temperature with burnt oil from repeated cooking with fallen batters in the old used oil. The restaurant was open and airy but smelled strangely oily probably secondary oil smoke from burnt, over-fried cooking oil that may not be the healthiest choice. Overall, three stars for the great service, fast cooked chicken wings and reasonably priced in this lovely clean airport that I love to travel into.

Apparently the quintessential Waffle House experience happens around 3:00 AM after the bars close. Since I don't stay up that late anymore, I had to settle for the regular daytime brunch experience. We both had the All-Star special - two eggs, bacon or sausage, grits or hash browns, and a waffle. My husband enjoyed the peanut butter chips topping his waffle, and his grits were very good. I went for the plain waffle, which was pretty tasty. While I didn't get my hash browns smothered or covered, they were great on their own. Jasmine served us with a smile without hovering.

First time Waffle House experience! This is definitely a step above going to a Dennys after a night of bar hopping. Everything was so yummy and the prices were more than fair. One of the employees, Ty, was also so sweet and kept checking in on us. Whenever we're back in New Mexico, we're coming back here! *note: this reviewer from California

After dropping my friend off at the airport around 5:15 am we decided it was finally time for me to try Waffle House. I find it to be a fabled spot, and I know it is meant to be eaten late night, but I figured early morning would be equally thrilling. We arrived and there were a few folks dining, and about 4 workers who were all very very nice. Coffee was good, hash browns were excellent smothered and covered (I love their onions!), bacon was a bit undercooked and the waffle was mid. My biggest issue is that so many places are switching from real butter to whipped spread, which I can't eat with my soy allergy but alas it is a me problem. Overall it was a good authentic Waffle House experience I'd say. I'd go back for the hash browns and I can see how after a night of drinking it would hit the spot!

Warmly welcomed by numerous staff. We chose our seat and server appeared immediately to take our drink order - coffee. We both had a traditional waffle with bacon and 1 scrambled egg on the side. Would have liked the waffle cooked a bit longer but otherwise everything was very tasty and service was exceptional. Modest prices but higher than previous visit to another location. Restaurant was very clean. Parking lot as sufficient for the size of the restaurant.,

Looks like kind of a hole in the wall but not like that at all. I was seated at the counter and was totally entertained by the cooks. The staff just calls out the order and they prepare it without looking at any ticket. And they handle several orders at once. The food is very good and reasonably priced. I had plenty to eat.

Perfect breakfast. Frances charming and professional: order taken, order delivered exactly as ordered. Great music chosen by Lindsay... nice breakfast experience.

First time, not what I expected but all good. Pros: old school feel, as the waitress calls you hun:). Food was fine and price matches. See my pics, biscuits and gravy, waffle with peanut butter chips and hash browns with ham and cheese. All fine based on the cost. Cons: if your expectations are not high, it's fine. For some reason I expected big unhealthy portions, but small and cost matches so all good.

They've got tons of parking, fast service, and a staff that clearly seems to enjoy their jobs. Rest of it is a bog-standard Waffle House experience. A tad greasy feeling inside (looks greasier than it is, this one is pretty well-kept), food is so-so, even if the hashbrowns still call my name, and pricing is like every other WH, very affordable. For some, Waffle House is nostalgic of something, and honestly, at some locations in the south, I get that feeling. This one I don't, but it's still a Waffle House.

Worst food ever. The hype is not worth it. The waffles themselves aren't even good either

Crispy Brussels sprouts had great flavor but way too much cayenne pepper (which adds nothing but heat) my husband ate them but said he would prefer less heat. I had 2 bites and gave up. Baked brie was amazing I loved the granny Smith apples! My husband loved them too. We also got the hummus duo which has dates on it and I used a date in the brie that was fantastic! I'll ask for that next time! It was the bomb. Hummus duo was good the watermelon radish was beautiful on the plate but gave both hummus a bitter flavor. Shrimp and grits. We live in Alabama currently and this was our least favorite dish of the day. Shrimp were cooked well and so were the grits but there was just something else it needed. Parmesan cheese and some onions maybe. Greek salad delicious. The flash fried chick peas made it. We needed more dressing and the wait staff was prompt and sweet about it. Spicy Lime Ceasar was ok till he requested more dressing then it was amazing. I was afraid of ordering it but the dressing wasn't too spicy . White sangria I had was disappointing it was more of a 1995 wine spritzer than a wine infused with citrus which is the very essence of sangria. It was ok and had I ordered a wine spritzer I would say yummo but I ordered sangria. Pork Belly flat bread was the winner of the night the tomato jam made that dish. I would love more on it next time but we will definitely be ordering that dish again! Yes we had a lot of left over food! But I love sampling a menu and this menu has a lot to offer. We will be back to try 4 or five other things. I look forward to my return.

In a rare turn of events, both kids got the same thing, the Korean chicken bites with the sauce on the side, which was a great decision bc it did have a kick to it. The chicken itself was a bit dry. Both adults also got the pork belly flatbread. I found it a bit unbalanced with too much sauce and not enough other toppings, and the base wasn't as crispy as I prefer. Speaking of crispy, we opted for the appetizer brussel sprouts, and they were a bit chewy and on the not so super crispy side. Service was fine, and glad to have a little break from heavier New Mexican cuisine on this night. Lots of variety on the cocktail and adult beverage menu too.

Not unusual for a bar. The issues they need to improve are staffing and men's bathroom. They did not have enough staff. They didn't have a host or busser. I've been hitting all the spots I can and being very strategic about the food stops. This place is nostalgic, historic, and right along the way in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It gives you all the old-school diner vibes immediately. I will say, all the young ladies working there were extremely nice, and the service was great. It definitely passes the vibes test. The burger tasted like that classic all-American diner burger. Not too greasy, but not trying to be some "beyond meat" situation either. Just good stuff. The fries were great, and very, very, very importantly: it passes the ranch test. We had a side salad with ranch, and the ranch tasted good on the salad and even better with the fries dipped in it. We also had the 66 Burger, which comes with green chiles. I had never had that on a burger before, but it was a really good twist and a nice local touch. Green chiles seem to be a big thing in Albuquerque, New Mexico, so it was cool to try that there. The onion rings were great too. If I hadn't been so full, and if it wasn't noon with eight more hours of driving ahead of us, I definitely would've gotten a shake too. All in all, absolutely great classic Route 66 vibes. It has all the nostalgia, great service, and great food. 10/10 recommend. Everyone should go.
