My husband, who is a big, tall guy and could eat breakfast for every single meal, said that his omelette must have been made out of a dozen eggs. There was a "greasy" texture to all of his food and he found it inedible as well. This place offers some kind of ham that he was excited to try, but he spat it out into his napkin. The good? Very cute and charming "old school" diner feel, service was adequate and the prices, if you want to feel like you are eating from a dumpster, are quite good.

I would like to have you and the store be aware of what I witnessed at your Arlington heights branch on 12-10 when I first arrived I witnessed a server buying drugs from a patron at the cash register area it looked to be marijuana and that's legal in Illinois so I wasn't that upset about it just don't think that should be happening inside of the store, once I get seated and my server took my drink order the server who made the drug deal (red/pink hair is the server didn't get her name thou) started berating my server to the point where when she came back to drop off my drink my server was in tears I then placed my order and while it was being entered in the system again red haired server started back up to the point where it got extremely loud with the red haired server using foul language on more than one occasion as well as calling my server an "it" repeatedly (my server is transgender) eventually the red haired server left mine alone and refilled some drinks for other people when my server returned and I asked her if I could please speak to the manager and was told the red haired server was the acting manager so I wasn't about to voice my complaint with her and the fighting between the 2 (mainly red haired server) continued the entire time I was there I find it unacceptable how the "manager" was treating my server and can't believe she's even in a position of authority I myself will not be returning to that establishment (which is a shame because I like the food and the service has been great there except that one time) until said red haired server is gone I as a paying guest shouldn't have to endure the nastiness I witnessed that day the name calling and the put downs she was giving to the server I wouldn't say to my worst enemy she was that bad sorry for the length of this complaint but I truly feel that corporate needed to know, I did tell my server to bring it up to her boss she claimed she has and nothing is ever done about it but apparently red haired server is a management favorite and works over nights (first time I've ever seen her there) and she's needed but I can certainly tell you I wouldn't have her working for me that's for sure read more

OH MY GOD. First time in Chicago & I don't even know where to start- DO NOT COME HERE unless you wanna find filthy hair in your food & be threatened to pay for it still. There was a gentleman that was nice enough to tell us that they'd the item off of our bill, but when we came up to the register to mention NICELY to the so-called manager named AMANDA, she said she'd only give us a "discount" on it because we had already eaten some. FIFTEEN percent. WHAT bitch are you STUPID!!! She said that the gentleman was not supposed to tell us that & that if we didn't pay, she'd have to call the cops then called the employee up to slap him upside his poor head & told him off in front of us. Unprofessional & RUDE!!! And it was just for a $2 dessert. She even walked to our table twice to hold my dessert up to the light to make sure there was hair in there LOL you can down the rest down too if you want to, fat ass.
