I am not a fan of Denny's in the least but it was the only place that didn't have a 30-45 minute wait on a Sunday. First my fiancé's egg whites were not cooked all the way. My omelet which had mushrooms in it was not cooked all the way. It's like the mushrooms were warmed up and then thrown into a pan. When we asked the server to replace the food she looked at us, rolled her eyes and said that the food was fine......never, ever, ever, again. Nobody came to the tables for 15 minutes, the restuarant wasnt even busy, we arrived around 9 am. The menus that we were given were so greasy and slimey that I couldnt even open mine or grip the pages, I attempted to open mine with my shirt but still had no luck. My boyfriends menu wasnt as bad but still dirty so we shared. Finally got our drink order taken, waited 10 more minutes and after one round of telling her we werent ready she finally returns with a water and to us leaving a dollar on the table and walking out. read more

This is the quickest and cleanest Denny's I've ever been to. What's with the three star average?? Went there on Memorial Day around 10am, was seated right away, order was taken quickly and the food arrived in less than 10 minutes. My eggs were slightly overcooked but still very good. And the bathroom?? Damn! If the seating was full, I would've eaten my breakfast off the bathroom floor - it was that spotless! Plus they had some guy going to the tables making some pretty bad ass balloon animals for the kids. So yeah, pretty cool Denny's, if I do say so myself. read more

Stopped by for a burger and a shake while getting my windows tinted next door. The shake was really good. It could have been the fact that I hadn't had a milk shake in like a year. Came here for my fiance's birthday so she could get her free grand slam breakfast. This Denny's was great the staff was very tentative and always there when you needed something. I got the make your own grand slam, which is more than enough food to eat. I tried the turkey bacon and it was delicious it tasted just like regular bacon but it is more healthy for you. If I go back to a Denny's I will definitely come back to this one. read more

The food was good and the place was clean. I think they're understaffed during the late hours though. Got here around 9:45pm and there were probably no more than ten families here. The chef sat us down and the hostess took our drink orders. We waited a little bit to get orders taken down and the food took a normal amount of time. Overall good experience. read more

4 stars mainly because the biscuit i ordered still needed a little more time to bake. Still soggy and doughy. But the reat of my breakfast was satisfying and filling. I built my own grand slam, i ordered pancakes, bacon, toast, and a biscuit. The bacon was cooked perfectly, it was crispy but also just a little bit chewy the way i like it. The toast was crispy and golden. The pancakes were thick but also filling as well. And my server Marsha was a delightfully energetic and sweet person all around. read more

My son loves the pancakes here and we were letting him pick the place to ETA. Wasn't mine or my husband's first choice but we lamented because he's just had a great soccer game. At first, we weren't greeted and a guest had to tell us we had to wait to be seated. But after that hiccup, the service and our server, Lucy, made the experience wonderful. I came on a Saturday morning about 2am. I ordered food to go. As I waited for my food, I watched one of the waitresses (bleach blonde hair) go on break outside with cigarettes in hand, smoke, and rush back in to handle food WITHOUT EVER WATCHING HER HANDS!!! That's absolutely disgusting!!! Then the man (black gentleman) and the blonde got into it and were cursing out loud at one another. Both were disrespectful!! And, all while while the manager was present in the kitchen helping the cook. I will NOT be returning to Denny's!! read more

This Denny's is okay. The service was great. We had a very attentive server. The food was burnt but they credited me back. I did enjoy the new chocolate chip pancake puppies but with peanut butter sauce, eww. It's good enough because its priced well. Ill only go back in a pinch. read more

We had a family of 5 come in for breakfast. The restaurant was crowded but we were seated in 5 minutes. Our waiter was Charles and he was fantastic. We had complicated orders and he filled them perfectly. All our beverages were kept filled and Charles was very entertaining. We enjoyed our experience here tremendously. When we first arrived, we weren't seated for a while. It wasn't crowded, 3 servers saw us, and continued on their computers and never said be right with you or anything. We were just ignored. My husband is already aggravated at this point, but we were starving. He was in the industry 17 years and knows better. Our server didn't like the fact he was aggravated, and we didn't see her again after placing our order unless she was bringing someone else something. We waited for our food for 45 minutes, and watched people that arrived after us get their food quickly. My husband looked and saw our food in the window, and watched our server walk by it to go outside and smoke. Then she got on the phone. After that we just walked out and ate at IHOP. While we were waiting 45 minutes for our food, a kitchen staff member walked out cursing and had to be coaxed back in by the manager, so she was too busy to help us. This place is a mess. read more

I go to Denny's a few times a year when I travel for work. This is the slowest Denny's I've ever been to. I'd also like to point out that there are many many water stains on the ceiling and water dripping for light fixtures (it wasn't raining). Our server Charles was exceptionally friendly and on top of things. If I were to come back to this restaurant, it would be because he was top of his game. read more

Went to Denny's at about 11:30. Was on a waiting list for 5 people. The host lied and said she called our name 5 times. But she didn't because we were sitting next to the host stand. And we had 5 people to hear her call the name. Manager wasn't friendly when helping us. After waiting 45 minutes finally sat down. Didn't get our food for another 45 minutes. Which I don't understand why it took so long to get eggs and bacon. Over all horrible experience. Would never recommend nor come back. read more

It was my wife's birthday and she wanted to go to Denny's of all places. Don't get me wrong, the breakfast is always tasty, but we have eaten at them across the country and the experience is hit or miss; this morning was a miss. First, who's in charge? No one apparently. The place was dirty, multiple table needed cleaning off, etc. I was eyeballing this the whole time in the waiting area for 15 minutes. As it turns out my wife had to convince me to take a booth that finally came available. The server asked if we wanted to move to a table so we followed her and waited another minute while she cleaned one off...God bless her. Once seated, we waited another 10 minutes and when nobody came by to take our drink order, we quickly left and went to Cracker Barrel down the street. Their new fried chicken is fantastic. What this Denny's needs is for someone to take charge and demand good service and some pride. read more

I have been a hater of Dennys for many years after many many disappointing experiences at any Dennys. HOWEVER, when we moved here to Brandon we zipped into Dennys for a quick breakfast. Not only was the food really darn good, the service was super. We have gone back a few more times, Sunday being the most recent, it was my birthday and I got a free breakfast which was fine. But we also got the banana nut pancake balls which are ALMOST as good as the strawberry ones. Anyways, we have had the same 2 waitresses each time and they are both fab! My husband then mentioned we should go there every Sunday for breakfast!!! read more

Wow this Denny's is brand new just renovated. I stopped in for a coffee around 1AM yesterday and could not believe how beautiful the place is. I stopped going here last year because the place was a dump. What a difference. I asked what happened and the server told me a new owner took over this Denny's and totally renovated the place. Denny's has a new menu too and it looks great. I will definitely be back. read more
