Dear Denny's, Came in solo dolo today at 2am. Asked for a simple meal and a pot of coffee. Food was made to what I asked (steak being as rare as possible with extra butter for the toast) and the coffee hot as ever. But tbh, that wasn't the highlight of the last minute late night dinner. Upon the arrival, I was greeted and seated by Sal. Right off the bat... good vibes. After he took my order, a big ass drunk ass group walks in and I already knew it was gunna be a hell of night for the guy. Just from overhearing their loud and obnoxious indecisive ordering, i cringed for the dude. BUT THIS BRO PREVAILED. I really didn't expect to much attention because of the back to back to back tossed parties that came in after but he really did his god damn best checking up with me. 10/17/2021 After a full day at the amusement park, had to grab something to eat. It's packed in here and probably one of a few places open late. I always like getting breakfast and hour of the day or night. Crispy bacon and sunny side-up eggs are perfect. I would like the hash browns more crispy but ketchup and hot sauce fixes that. Pancakes are good and helps soak up whatever drinks we had all night. My server was running around like crazy but she did a great job. On our Disney weekend we stopped at Dennys before heading to our room for the night. It was about 9pm when we pulled up. First sign we should've went somewhere else, was the homeless person posted right next to the door who smelled of urine, who made the entrance smell foul. We get seated and our drinks were ordered. We ordered apps, before our meal. We ordered our food after our drinks. Our food came out before the apps. ALL the food was COLD! Briana, waitress asked if we wanted it microwaved to heat it up or if we wanted it remade . We asked for it remade, we should have just asked for the check and left. The remade food was cold. While we were waiting the host was throwing chairs across the floor to get a table ready for a party of 8. He was a young kid not wanting to work. Dennys isnt michelin star. But this location is always hot, consistent snd flavorful. You always know your gona have a good solid meal here. Todays server was Raquel R. She was kind and attentive. Tonight it was me, my spouse and my 10 yr old kiddo. Not only did she talk to us but she directly talked to kiddo wich i thought was awesome. I rarely go out to eat, and only ended up at Denny's on a Tuesday night because it was almost 9 pm and I wanted to take a friend out to get something to eat before he drove back home 50 miles away. He had spent the afternoon on his day off doing repairs at my house. In my college days I remember many a late night Grand Slam with friends. I was blown away by the extreme cleanliness of the restaurant, the many appealing menu items, and the "cherry on top" was our awesome Server! Raquel not only sat us (I assumed she was the hostess), but took our orders as well. I have 35 years of management experience at two different Fortune 500 companies so I totally understand the importance of customer service. Raquel was awesome: excellent service skills, patient (I had quite a few questions about the menu and the Denny's customer loyalty program). She stayed very attentive to our table without feeling intrusive. She is extremely friendly, very professional, has a good sense of humor (put up with me!), and a great authentic smile. Arrived at this Denny's on 07/14/21 at 2240 hours and put our name down. We were estimated a 20 minute wait. As soon we sat down, many parties of small and large groups came in and all put their name down. Around 20 minutes of waiting, one lady comes to the front and tells everyone in the lobby that the kitchen is backed up and will be an extra wait. She did announce that we should leave if you won't be able to wait so several parties left. Someone else came by about 2 minutes later saying that it wasn't the case and people will be seated. Confusing right? Everyone waiting was confused. We decided to wait a little bit more and they started calling people's names again to get them seated. There were two parties that were no-shows so my party of two got seated in a booth right away. We had an older Asian lady to serve us and her name was Junya. As soon as we sat down, she asked if she were ready. We said no and she came by another couple minutes later and we were ready then. SHE WAS RUSHING US SO BAD THAT IT WAS SO UNCOMFORTABLE. Here's what we ordered: **3 Item Appetizer w/ Buffalo Wings, Chicken Tenders, and Wavy Fries: The buffalo wings were beyond salty and cold. The chicken tenders were luke-warm and so were the fries. The portions were horrendous. (0/5) **Eggs Benedict: Worst eggs benedict I've ever had in my life. The english muffin was hard as a rock that it made a *clink* sound when hitting the plate. The bacon and eggs were over salted. The hollandaise sauce was so messy as well so the presentation was trash. (0/5) **Supreme Skillet: We had ordered this without mushrooms but it still came out with mushrooms. Everything was charred. The vegetables were overcooked and the sausage was flavorless as well. We could not finish this plate because it was horrendous. (0/5) She came to the table several times during our stay. She took our order, dropped off our food/drinks, threw two containers of ranch at us, tossed salt/pepper packets, and halfway throughout our meal she tossed some napkins without even asking how we were doing nor did we ask for them. She didn't ask my girlfriend if she wanted a refill of her lemonade and instead just took the cup and returned with a refill without saying anything and taking the straw away from us as well. She had dropped off our receipt and since we saw nobody to help, we decided to pay at the front. When we got to the front, there was a guy off the streets looking to get larger bills for his (40) $1 bills but what seemed to be a supervisor or manager kept declining while trying to juggle a phone call and another order through the POS system. It took a while for us to get noticed and finally when she did, she forgot about us right away. So instead of waiting, we left and paid contactless through a QR code. The attitude the employees have for each other is very rude and unprofessional. The food was absolute garbage. Our server, Junya was absolutely terrible as well. This was by far, my worst Denny's experience I've ever had in the past 29 years. I will never be returning to this run down Denny's ever again. The kitchen was backed up, my ass. Someone was just having a rough day and wanted to decline service because we got our food within 15 minutes but everything seemed like it came out of the microwave 2 minutes too early. How do you mess up that bad on fries and chicken tenders? I understand it's busy but the food should be out in a timely manner and somewhat presentable. If you want to wait twice the estimated time, deal with sh*tty customer service, and trash food then be my guest and try this Denny's out. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this location. This location absolutely sucks and whoever does the hiring, you do a very poor job at that. Retrain your employees or hire better ones. read more
