How hard can it be to sauté veggies? All we ordered was the cheddar mashed potatoes with sautéed yellow squash and zucchini ... I asked for my veggies to be extra cooked. They came out barely cooked. So she took them back while everyone else is eating. 10 minutes later I get my food. Ice cold mashed potatoes and my veggies. I'm not even going to mention the fact that we sat there for 20 minutes waiting for our drinks and then another 30 waiting on the food. I recommend McDonald's over this place. The place to go in Citrus County for breakfast. We have never had a bad meal here and we go often. If you're looking for a sandwich, the burgers are excellent and can satisfy most any appetite and the club sandwich is one of the best I've had anywhere. My waitress was very friendly. She did take a break and left is in the hands of another waitress who never took care of us or came to check on us or refill our drinks. I was there once before and the servers were arguing loudly at each other. Again, my waiter that day was very friendly. The atmosphere and service has a lot to be desired though. If my waitress wasn't so nice I'd never come back. With that said, the Bourbon Glazed Chicken Skillet was awesome. read more

Every time I come here it's a wonderful experience. The food is great and the staff is always so attentive. One of the best Denny's I've ever been too. I usually get breakfast and their eggs are always cooked the way I ordered them, perfectly. The pancakes are right and fluffy and their toast actually comes buttered unlike most places. DISGUSTING!!! Received my food and started eating. Found a hair on my plate, but as the server kept repeating "it's fine it's on the side". As we were scraping our food into to go boxes when we were done eating ANOTHER HAIR was on a different plate! The server said "I'll refund your meal, but the other hair was on the side, so it's fine". When I went to pay I asked why the second meal with the hair was refunded, but the first one wasn't. He said it's because it was on the side. I asked for a discount, again "the hair was on the side". He stormed off into the kitchen cursing and screaming at the manager about me. The manager came out five minutes later with "how can I help". She didn't say I'm sorry once. I told her what happened and she said "I'm not refunding it because the hair was on the side, the food is fine". TERRIBLE customer service!!! We generally eat all the time at Denny's and the waitress is great Crystal she is awesome she should be a trainer none the less this trip was the first Time I was unhappy with the service we went to order was told no more steaks they took them off the menu then nearly 40 Minutes later got out meal no napkins had to ask had to ask for another straw for Wife tea service was very and not busy the waitress nice but slaking in waitress skills had way to much perfume on and a girl another waitress getting ready to work with very long hair decided she anted to fluff out in the middle of the restaurant before she put up so she could start serving DUHHHHH do that before you go into the restaurant or use the restroom people don't like hair in there food steak seamed small Hummmmmmmm does this spell the need for APPLE BEES i wonder ?????? read more

I've been to this Denny's quite a few times. Regardless of the day or time of day, I have found it to be consistently good, and the service was almost always excellent and friendly. I've taken a number of guests here as well, and everyone seemed pleased. So, no complaints. I've been to a lot of other Denny's locations in different states and also within Florida, so I've got a good idea of what to expect food-wise. While Denny's not a crystal-and-linen, high-dollar restaurant, I've found the food to be very good in most of them, and I have yet to have a problem at this location. read more

This is the last time I ever go here. Every time there is a problem. Worst staff ever. Nobody in there and the waitress and manager want to argue about a ticket then seat us. Having to take my car to Nicholas Ford in Crystal River and needing lunch before my appointment I found Denny's right next to it. I used to go there quite a bit years ago but now there are none around where I live. No exaggeration but it probly been 30 years since I have been in one. So in I went was seated immediately and approached and gave my drink order.M y waitress asked if I needed a little time and I said yes because the menu was very large and had beautiful pictures of all the items.The prices were very good so I ordered bacon, Gouda burger and it was one the best burgers I have ever eaten and it was served probably under 10 minutes.
