It was Denny's, food was good and reliable. The store was clean and the wait staff were very nice.

Traveling from New Jersey to Florida was an adventure in and of itself; however every trip deserves its own unique memory at their destination ... that moment was Ariana. This place was beyond unprofessional and absolutely awful service and food. We walk in and stood at the host stand/ cashier counter for almost 3 minutes while waiting for the young girl to acknowledge us. There was a family of four sitting on the bench waiting to be seated. The girl walks away without even saying "I'll be right with you". Then the young guy that's also working comes up and says "Take out?" "No...we're dining in". "It'll be a few minutes ".....now keep in mind there were literally 4 tables in the entire restaurant- 3 of them almost done eating. I am a server myself and was shocked that the family sitting and us were told that we'd have to wait. Now onto the real crappy part. About 5 minutes later they sit the family of 4. Took them 10 minutes after that to sit us. The young guy comes up to us and just waves his hand like "come on"....not a single word. He takes us to the closest booth and sets the menus down and walks away. Then he comes back in like no lie- 7 more minutes and says "Drink?" Not a "Hello how are you? What can I get you guys to drink?" Nope- one word "Drink?". So we told him 2 cokes. Then he says "Eat?" I could tell my husband was getting frustrated so I said my order and my husband ordered....he didn't write anything down btw. I noticed that him and the young girl are standing in the front of the restaurant where they pick up food orders just being loud and carrying on as if they were at home and not at a place of business. Food comes out- husband ordered- Cinnamon Roll Pancake breakfast with OW eggs, hash browns, and sausage. I got 2 Cinnamon Roll pancakes. My food was fine, his had cold fries, some strange looking bacon (probably turkey bacon) and the eggs and pancakes were as he ordered. My husband had to get up to go tell the young guy that his order was messed up. He said the young man was apologetic but he and the other girl seemed high and just really unprofessional. I was furious at how this young guy had treated us so far. He brings the order out and it's corrected and hot this time. I get up because I wanted to pay the bill ( we had been waiting for the check for at least 10 minutes after we were done). I go stand up front at the cashier/ host counter and as me and another couple of guests are up there- we have to wait because the young guy and girl are playing patty cake!!! Yes you read that correctly- PATTY CAKE! The fact that your making me and other people wait so you and some other idiot can finish a children's game is beyond unbelievable and quite frankly I almost walked out. I looked at him and said hey I need to pay my bill. He comes over and rings me up....I pay and we leave. Our mouths were to the floor in utter shock at the lack of customer service. Me being a server I usually will leave a tip even if the service isn't that great but this time I did not tip at all. Do yourself a favor and skip this location and go to a First Watch we're service and food are incredible...I promise no one will ignore you and make you wait while their playing patty cake. To the manager at this location....fire those two kids and hire some professional servers so you can continue to have business....seriously. read more

Writing this as I'm sitting in the restaurant waiting for our drinks. My family sat down and it took 15 minutes until we actually seen a server in our area. After we seen one at the surrounding table it took her another 10 minutes to actually even take our drink orders. Meanwhile the servers from the other areas are walking past our table as well as three others just looking. Everyone has a pissed off look on their faces. This isn't how you wanna start your day. Been here for 33 minute and just now got my drink. Stay away from this location. read more

The whole place was sticky and damp. I know it's Florida but the ac unit was out in the open and looked terrible. I asked for salt and was given this yellow ghetto bottle and all of the syrup was in bottles meant for drizzling oil! You look around all all you see is people with their arm up for half hour trying to get a tablespoon of syrup on their damn pancake! I rarely give 5 stars and I never thought I'd ever give one to a Denny's, but here I am breaking my own rules. Twelve of us are in the area visiting Disney. Our first day was fun yet wet since it rained all day. We were soaked and starved. We pulled in to McDonald's and quickly decided to change and come in to Denny's. We walked in and could tell that they were busy and probably didn't want to bother with all of us, but our server was AMAZING! Jami, our server was nice, fast, never let our drinks run dry and she was pleasant to talk to. We had a nice conversation and we all enjoyed our visit. We enjoyed it so much we came back the next night and asked for Jami again. And even though she was working a different section she gladly took us and waited on us. And once again, the food and service were great. We will be back for all our post-Disney meals. And Management, you need Jami running a shift. She's the face of the company you need. I wouldn't hesitate to make her a manager and I'd do it quickly before you lose her. read more

Stopped in early one morning. Not too busy yet and seemed to be only one or two servers. Our server did a great job covering so many tables. My breakfast was fine. Nothing fancy. But my wife got the chorizo skillet. Do not get it! Just one big blob of grease and very spicy! The amount of grease made her so sick. Just a terrible menu item. Prices seem a tad high for a Denny's, but I'm sure it's because it's in the heart of 192. For the price, we should have gone somewhere better. read more

Wow! Talk about night and day! What a huuuuge difference a number of hours makes at this particular Denny's. While on vacation in Kissimmee, we visited this restaurant quite a few times. We typically come for breakfast. But after an exhausting day at Epcot, we arrived here at 8:00 pm. Not too late, right? WRONG!!! In all fairness, the morning, although exceedingly busy, runs rather smoothly. We are seated fairly quickly. Our waitress arrives at our table very punctually. The food order arrives accurately and rapidly. We leave content and always eager to return. But, and this is an absolute huuuuuge BUT. At night, a peculiar metamorphosis takes hold. Seating is delayed. The waitress half-heartedly utters, "I'll be back in a minute." That "minute" morphs into ten whole minutes. The food order arrives incorrectly and without alacrity. The waitress doesn't return to the table with the ubiquitous, "Is everything alright?" We leave disgusted and discontent. The waitress, Samara, apologetically informed us that she was recently assigned an additional section to wait on because of understaffing. We certainly felt sympathetic but, at the same, victimized by managerial stupidity. Why should we be compelled and coerced to 'pay' for absolute ignorance?? Let's start with the POSITIVE list: - food is always delicious - food is consistently delicious - food is actually the only positive aspect here The NEGATIVE list: - our drink glasses were never refilled - we had to wait an inordinate amount of time for food to come - 2 out of our 5 meals came incorrectly - the mistakes were never corrected because waitress never returned to the table, only when she gave us the check - speaking to the manager Joseph was akin to speaking to a fourth grader about advanced geometry. Not only was he completely asleep at the wheel but he showed not a single scintilla of empathy or emotion. - when I rattled off the laundry list of what made us unhappy, he proceeded to storm away and vociferously yell at his 4 employees in the kitchen for their ineptitude. At this juncture every single patron in the restaurant demonstrated simultaneous astonishment and utter contempt. - I immediately contacted Corporate and they promised to send me a coupon for a free Grand Slam breakfast. Hmmmmm, I feel a lot better now. Just kidding. Hey Denny's, I have the perfect ending for an entirely imperfect dining experience, "When the customer comes first, the customer will last." Stopped by for some breakfast after a 5K. I decided to have the Santa Fe Skillet because it looked so good in the picture. My wife ordered the Steak and gravy. As soon as my food came out it was VERY hot so I was happy about that BUT it was the greases plate of food I have ever had. The Chorizo was way too spicy and the food was just not good at all. My wife's breakfast was much better and she did enjoy it but I just couldn't. I actually got very sick afterwards. So ya never again. Upon arriving to the Denny's the Host present, a middle to later aged man, greeted us. When I asked for a booth he responded by saying "Listen, you sit where I want you to sit." Me and my girlfriend look at each other evaluating whether breakfast food was really what we wanted to eat and the man corrected himself saying it was just a jokes chuckling. We were unamused. To top off the poor joke he our wait to order was a whopping 15 minutes despite the restaurant not being that busy. Although our waitress made up for it the cook allegedly didn't announce our food was ready right away so some of our food ended up getting cold. Had a horrible flight coming into the United States for Vacation and ended up in Kissimmee, FL around 2am after checking into our hotel. The only place open was a restaurant called Denny's so we decided to take the family there. The food was absolutely delicious. We got the Bourbon BBQ Chicken Skillet, the Lumberjack Slam, which had pancakes, eggs, bacon, ham and a bunch of other items and the Cake Batter Milkshake!!! All highly recommended. Also our waiter, Nate, was phenomenal. Very quick but also friendly and professional. One of the best waiters we have ever had. Highly recommend Dennys! read more

The kids ate all their food and our food still didn't get to the table and the only reason it got served was because we got up and complain to the manager. Upon arriving in Orlando, we were all starving and looking forward to going to Denny's, which was just across from our hotel. Most of my party had burgers and 1 person had an omelet. The omelet was pretty bland and didn't come with the salsa it was supposed to come with...after adding the salsa, it tasted less bland. lol Now for the burgers: you are not allowed to order anything but well-done burgers. I usually like my burgers medium. All of our burgers were pretty tasteless despite the abundance of toppings on the burgers....how is that even possible?? I came to this restaurant this morning, had a 30 min wait. Finally got seated with my crew and 1 year old. However the young lady who was supposed to work are table never took our order, never gave us silverware, napkins, or at least say I'll be right with you guys completely ignore us like we didn't exist. She kept going to the other tables, until I said excuse me "Are you our server" she replied with a attitude at that point, she said she was going to go get someone to work our table. So someone came it was a Manager never expect for the manager to have the same energy as the worker at the point I left and went to another Denny's they was so polite and serve us right there.
