It's a hit & miss in regards to service. Came here on a light day as far as customers. The hostess sat us at a booth. Here we sit 10 minutes. No water no drink. Watched the hostess seat a couple. Get their drinks. Serve another table drinks as we sat watching. The server took the couples order she then came to us for our order. I told her about the situation. I prefer to write reviews of places I like, but everything here was so wrong, that I couldn't just ignore it. My husband and I arrived for breakfast at about 8:45 am. The distracted hostess seated us relatively quickly . . . in a booth that should have been replaced years ago. The dent in the booth was so deep I felt like I was going to hit the floor. Nonetheless, I scooted over to the undented section and looked at the menu. I decided on the waffle slam as a treat, cuz I love waffles, crisp on the outside and light and fluffy inside. It comes with two eggs, plus bacon and sausage (I swapped out the sausage for more bacon) and a cup of bold coffee. Then, we waited for someone to stop by. And waited. Eventually, the hostess asked if we had been helped yet and went to tell our server. We waited another five minutes or so and she arrived and took our order. My husband received his OJ right away, and she brought cream for my coffee. Ten minutes later, still no coffee. Eventually, I was able to flag down someone else who had my coffee sent out. Breakfast arrived another five or so minutes later. Cold. Over cooked. With only one egg. The waffle was so crunchy that it arrived in four separate pieces that someone pushed together to try to make it look whole, and the butter never melted on it, because it was lukewarm. The single over easy egg was about room temperature. Eggs with runny yolks really need to be hot to be enjoyable, even if there is only one on the plate (I don't even know how that happened since ALL dishes usually come with two eggs). My husband couldn't even touch his hash browns because they were burnt. Our server came by ten minutes later to ask about our food, but I couldn't even say anything. All she needed to do was look at the plates before serving to see that it was not serveable. No one even offered a refill on my cup of coffee. We ate what we could (the bacon was immobile, like the kind on a buffet, but edible), and when the bill did not arrive, got up to get it from the front. At that point the overworked server gave it to my husband. At the front, when asked how everything was I told them it was terrible from service to food, and especially management (poor training, poor scheduling, etc.). They asked us to wait, but I was DONE waiting and left while my husband paid the bill. And, yes, they charged us for a full two-egg breakfast despite only receiving one egg. So, the next Yelper to make the mistake of going here, please make sure they give you my second egg without an extra charge. Oh, and my husband HATES sitting. We are usually in and out of places in 30-45 minutes because he gets antsy. We spent so much time waiting that we didn't leave (despite not finishing breakfast) until an hour and a half after we arrived. Sheer agony for him. read more

Me and my friends went there for our prom dinner, we ordered our food and one of my friends ordered the avocado burger and once we recived it had no avocados, we waitied for someone to come by but no one did, we were finally able to flag down a lady and she just said that " oh she should have told you we dont have avocados" and then shrugged her shoulders, we then said thats the only reason he ordered it and if he can just have a fried egg to put on it instead of the discount and she said no she will charge us for the egg. They also were talking and pointing at us, they never came to refill our drinks until we had to find someone to flag down again. They also messed up our checks and didnt split it two ways so i paid the remaing balance and the lady says to me " was the guy sitting near you your date? and he didn't pay for your food?" Do not go here unless you like being treated like shit. At 25% occupancy you would think the staff would be at the minimum courteous. It's laughable how rude Jaime C was. The food was mediocre at best if you like runny over medium eggs and burnt bacon. God forbid you get a refill of coffee which he missed half the cup onto the table and I ask for napkins. You have redeemed yourself Dennys! This time around the wait was nominal, the food was delectable, and the customer service was pretty schweet! Came her for a late breakfast and had about a 3 minute wait, we were greeted by the waitress a few minutes later, placed our order, and within 10 minutes had our yummy foods! I got the 2$ biscuit and grave (literally a biscuit cut in half with gravy over it, seemed from powder though!) and a 2$ short stack (2 buttermilk pancakes, really yummy) my son got the kids cheeseburger and wavy fries! And if there's an obvious abundance of crowd then the server knows he has the need to inform people the truth that there could be a wait. And people still wait. The cashier kept asking me if I wanted toast with the patty melt at least 4 times I replied it's a patty melt? Anyhow waited outside approximately 30 mins she came out gave me my order I asked for napkins she replied it's all in the bag. I was home in two minutes opened the patty melt to find my petty melt on white bread soaked in hamburger grease, bread was completely disintegrated and topped with American cheese. I called to tell them they needed to school Jose on what a stinking patty melt is and to let her know how overpriced that rotten meal was and roxsand who answered the phone replied "will do"?? My husband and I went and his fries were cold and my pancakes were overcooked and cold. I placed the order for curbside pickup. I received confirmation that the food would be ready in 20 minutes. My husband and I left our house about 10 minutes after I placed the order. Denny's is approximately 10 minutes away from our house. We parked in the designated spot and I followed what the sign said on the parking spot. The phone rang for me to notify an employee what spot # I was parked in and no one would answer. After 3 failed attempts my husband had to go in. He was informed that our food wasn't ready yet. So we waited 15 minutes more and finally our food was brought out! Denny's was NOT busy...so why was our food cold and not one employee would answer the phone. I will NEVER go back and will NEVER recommend to anyone! read more

We just moved to LV from California, and this Denny's has to be our favorite location! The staff is so friendly and kind. We have 2 small children and the atmosphere for them is great. Our server, Christina was super friendly and attentive. Our food was delicious and the wait to be seated was extremely short for a Sunday morning. Come here all the time at night to make sure the hang over isn't so bad the next morning. The night crews really nice and expedient! The food comes out just the way I like it and it's pretty good. I have no problem finishing my meal. Also the servers earn the extra tip! I've been here mostly at night and usually there's only a couple of people ordering food, not too much. The obese Mexican women who I am assuming is the managers wife. Is the absolute worse person to be running a business. I place a call. She puts me on hold, and hangs up. Okay. I get it. Horrible service ! my mom and I arrived at 1:40, The waiter took our order which was 2 crepe creations and 20mins after, the waiter came back to ask us what we ordered because he didn't know if he got it right. We waited so long after that I had to ask him when our food would be ready because my mom was getting upset, he said it'll be ready in a couple minutes. 15 mins later we got one part of our food and said the crepes will be out in a couple minutes. I have ordered grits 7 times in a row (DEAD SERIOUS) and have not received them, as well as many other items. If you go back to complain the benches are lined with other poor souls who also have missing items. I have never did a bad review of any company ever, but this place deserves one so bad, this place is really just that bad. They are so bad in fact that there is probably not even anyone staffed there to even see this bad review, lol. And if there is they already know how bad they are because they are probably the manager that allows this to go on day in and day out everyday. I think that most of the employees at this location try hard to be friendly but I have experienced lousy attitudes, poor personality, and worse of all the inability to even properly take an order. I have gone there on more than one occasion in hopes that the service that I received prior would be better but sadly it has progressively gotten worse.
