My boyfriend and I waited a long time for our food to come, despite ordering simple breakfast foods. We watched others, who were seated after us, receive their orders and get served, despite the complexity of the meal. The restaurant was moderately full, but not any more than average. The manager (I think. He's caucasian and male with dark hair and walks briskly) is very organized and caring, and puts forth effort at his job. I used to be a regular at this Denny's when I lived just a couple blocks away, but it seems the intervening couple years have not served them, or their customers, well. The All-American Slam was OK, except for the barely toasted "toast" (Hint to Denny's: there should be a little crunch to actual toast, not just a light browning) and the way overdone hash browns, half of which I left, rather than struggle to cut, chew, and swallow. Then, to make the experience complete, having eaten, paid my bill, visited the men's room, left a tip, packed up and headed out the door, I was grabbed by the manager asking me if I planned on paying my bill. I told her 1) not to ever touch me again, and 2) that I'd already paid, pointing to the cashier whom I'd paid. Not knowing what she was doing, and clearly not having paid attention, she simply and ignorantly assumed that a customer leaving hadn't paid his bill. Umm .. where do I start. Me and my wife came here to have a good meal but it was a horrible experience. First they served us the wrong drinks. They even got the order wrong to the table next to us. My chicken philly looked very unappetizing and the bread was soggy. My wife ordered a crazy skillet which was ten dollars and the skillet was visible because there was barely any food on it. Let me preface this by saying that I LOVE Denny's. This was hands down the worst location I've been to. I'm ashamed we paid for this last meal tonight. Tried to speak with management to tell her about our horrible experience tonight, but she was nowhere to be found, we just left after paying. I've been to this Denny's in the past and found it to be slow, not well with customer service. It definitely has improved. My husband got refills on his coffee and was pleased. This location's employees are incredibly rude, inattentive and seem completely incompetent. We came in with a party of ten and waited over 30 minutes to be seated. Once we were seated our server, Richard, was pushy and bossy about taking our order. He insulted my husband, who ordered a side salad, by saying "big guy, not a big appetite today?" When I asked for a grilled cheese, Richard said that they were physically unable to make a grilled cheese for me because I wasn't a senior. We didn't get our food for another 30 minutes and when we did the three people who ordered salads didn't get their food until 15 minutes after that. We needed refills on coffee and water, we never got any syrup, ham and toast for one of the meals and the dressing for one of the salads. When we were asking Richard for the things we needed, he started walking away huffing while we were talking to him. I got up and talked to the manager, who was able to get what we needed. Richard never came back to our table and we waited another 30 minutes until we had to find the manager to get the check. She only brought us one check, with a 10% discount, when we asked for separate checks. We went up to the counter to pay and we wanted the check spilt in half to pay on two separate debit cards. The woman checking us out and the manager couldn't comprehend how to split a check in half and it took ten minutes to get it figured out. The manager started getting irritated with my husband insinuating that he was trying to get a bigger discount when all he was trying to do was split the check. He even got his calculator out trying to explain how to divide a number by two. When it finally clicked in the manager's head, she looked at my husband and said "there, do you get it now?" I am so incredibly offended by how we were treated and can't even fathom how these people have jobs. We won't be back to another Denny's. read more

First off my parents love going to this location and having Fernando as their waiter but today it was a little busy so we had to wait 25 min for a table. We did get our drinks in a timely manner but the problem was that we never received all our items we ordered. My mother ordered a house salad and country fried steak and eggs she never received her salad. My father just ordered a house salad never got it. For my kids I ordered 4 kids meals they never received their sides witch were grapes. I ordered the club sandwich but I specifically said with white bread not wheat. Got the wheat bread so i asked to get it with white and my dad took my wrong order since he never received his salad. The waitress was more concerned about telling us that we would have to pay for both club sandwiches then getting my order in because my family ate and i never got my food so we left but i made sure we weren't charged for the items we didn't receive. Next time we will wait longer just to make sure Fernando is are waiter. Also our waitress only came to our table three times so we didn't leave a tip i do feel bad but come on it wasn't even that busy to miss so many things. read more

This location had poor service when placing a pick up order. The employee on the phone was rude and unwilling to sub out toast and hash brown for sausage links. The portion size was small and definitely not worth the price. I do not recommend this location at all. I understand some places can be short staffed but this was ridiculous. When my boyfriend & I we're seated the waiter didn't even start us off with a nice greeting. He came to our table & told me to put my outside drink inside my purse because they could be fined for allowing an outside drink inside the restaurant. Which okay I get but he didn't even apologize & when I told him it was okay if he didn't mind throwing it away because I'd be ordering a coffee regardless there....with saying that he didn't even bother taking our drink order then he walked away & helped this other table out & stayed chatting with them. We sat there for maybe a few more minutes with no service before the host came up to us to then get our drink order. Waiting for our food to be ordered another 10 min later by the host again because the server was "a little busy". This server was chatting up with the other table! A few minutes after another couple of girls were seated & our "waiter" attended them so fast. Our waiter only served us our food. So I came in here three weeks ago and the sadly disappointed at this stage of the Denny's. There was only two servers that I can visibly see from the 10 minutes that I spent waiting up front. There was no host or hostess whatsoever nor was there any manager on site which their shit is done. When waiting out front. Another gentleman separately we were told to wait and that it will be a couple minutes. A couple of minutes took about 10 minutes as I timed it on my cell phone. Also visibly when this play should've been at its prime with a lot of breakfast customers inside there were not. Where were all the servers that should've been on staff? This place is always busy on the weekday or the weekend always as I have stopped in here many times for meetings or by myself in the morning time or early in the we hours in the a.m. There was a tall lady with very badly done clown shaped then eyebrows. She was at least 6 foot tall and looked really funny. Kind of like that picture of the baby with the drawn on Curvy eyebrows that you see in all these Memes. If I could've taken a picture of her I would've and post it here on yelp because I'm just that nice of a person. She told me twice that we would be seated in a normal amount of time. Again there really wasn't anyone here and only two servers and one cook in the back with no host and no manager in sight. I was beyond pissed off and I left abruptly. Came in for a Saturday morning meal after 2 days of hospital food during our stay at sunrise hospital after our daughter Emmalynn was born. The place was decorated with lots of saint Patricks day decor and it's not even march yet , but I find this nice because it shows the employees have pride in their work place. The hostess greeted me immediately and I ask to sit at the counter. The waitress was very friendly and took my order very quickly. I was sitting next to two gentlemen that appeared to be regulars. The waitress knew them by name and they seemed to feel right at home. My food came quickly and was cooked perfectly. My husband and I had a great time here yesterday morning. Our server Nina was fast and very friendly, she was also helpful with the menu. The food came out pretty fast too we were only at the restaurant for maybe 25 minutes. We came in and were seated right away, our waitress (Linda, I believe) was sweet & totally on top of making sure we were alright, food was good, not the worst Denny's I've been to. Everything was cool up until the end of our meal. My only serious problem was when i went to pay our check. My total was $19. I left two dollars on the table since it was the only cash i had, and i put $2 on my card for the rest of the tip. When I was walking out I noticed that (Lilly, I think) the hostess charged $26 to my card? What?! I wrote in the total on the receipt, $21. She charged me $7 for gratuity. On a $19 tab? I went back in and pointed it out to her & she didnt even seem shocked. Just the dumb "oh, my bad, i thought thats what it said" 2....7.... 21....26....? How do you confuse that? I ended up leaving it because I was too annoyed to deal with her & our waitress was super awesome. But still, seriously take a second glance at your receipt after you pay.
