This facility just recently opened. The staff still needs plenty of training in customer service. Managers sitting in the counter area are talking excessively loud. My wife and I were sitting at a table close to the counter area but ended up asking a server to move us away from the counter area. For several minutes - several employees, managers included, were congregated in the counter area doing a lot of talking and not enough work being done. 2/14/25 @ 12:450m. I just called Denys on baseline to place a to go order. I didn't realize I could not pay at the time of pickup and that i had to give my cc number over the phone. I refused as that is not a secure method of payment . I politely asked to speak to a supervisor and was told i had to call the main office to speak to a supervisor. The Dennys rep was very rude all due to I refused to provide my cc number over the phone. I stated i will submit my order online the rep then asked why did i call then. I am furious and Dennys you need to figure out who the rep is and take further action. She will definitely make you loose loyal customers . Hopefully the call was recorded. I will never go to the Denys on baseline and i will tell my family, friends and colleagues not to go as well. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I've tried eating at this establishment 3 times and each time I am reminded why I will not come back. Each time I waited over 10 mins for someone to even acknowledge we were there. Not even a " let me grab some water for you while you look over the menu". Only for the waitress to come and ask " yall ready" as if we were the ones intruding on her day. After asking us that she then joins in on another tables order due to her messing up. I go to this Denny's atleast 3 times a week and Yvonne is always very friendly, very helpful and always gets our orders correct and quick we actually purposely sit in her area because she is one of the best waitresses at the Laveen Denny's. read more

So I'll be honest , Denny's is not really my jam. However I was out super late recently and so hungry! This Dennys was the closest thing to me open 24 hours. I tried the Thanksgiving meal they are offering now. It was pretty and low key the Mac and Cheese was delicious, hats off to the cook. The five star I'm leaving here today was really about service. Yvonne was our server and she was amazing. She was very nice, informative and fun! Came to eat here after Church on Sunday and it was ALL bad! It took a while for the server to come and take our drink order so by the time she showed up we were ready to order drinks and food. As we waited I noticed that all the tables around me were getting their food after a while and not all the food was coming out at the same time. The server would bring a couple plates then go back for a while then bring a couple more plates. So not everyone was able to eat together. Other servers were bringing all their tables plates at the same time. Our food comes out and we get 2 of our 4 plates. My over easy eggs are cooked to a crisp! No yolk what so ever in the egg. My granddaughter's scrambled eggs are cooked to a crisp and dry as all heck. Server then brings another plate of chicken strips which were ok. Meanwhile the other plate (cheeseburger) took over 10 minutes to come out and when she brought it, there were no fries on the plate. She said they were coming. 5 minutes later she brings a big plate of fries. I order artisan toast and it was as hard as a rock! Couldn't even chew through the crust! Server never came back to offer refills of drinks and then took forever to bring our check! We had horrible service and very horrible food! Do better Laveen Dennys!!! We won't be back!!!! read more

This location just opened and it's to be expected to have a long wait before being seated. We were surprised to see that we were quoted 30 minutes and were seated within 15 minutes. We were shocked that it took an additional 30 minutes after being seated to be greeted for drinks. Food was good and did come out hot so that was a plus to the wait times. They are still working out the kinks on wait times and service but additional training and just time being opened I hope helps this. Happy to have a Dennys in town. read more

The food was excellent. The staff was friendly and checked on us several times. Anna was one of the servers that helped us. She was friendly and conscientious. The ambiance was clean and they even wiped down the menus before they gave them to us. The first time we went the manager even made one of the plates in our order. We have been there twice and the food was consistently good both times. The Bourbon Chicken Skillet is particularly good. Although this is a new restaurant they are doing a good job and a welcome addition to Laveen. read more

Wife and I went to eat at this location and we were excited to try the seasonal pancakes. We wanted to upgraded our pancakes to the pumpkin Pecan pancakes For an up charge of 2.99. When we got to the restaurant there was a big advertisement of the deal right when we walked in the first set of doors to the right. Then There's Another advertisement of it right when you open your menu. Both advertisements looked so good! We both were going to add them onto our Breakfast slams! Waiter told us that they don't have any more Pecans. I was discouraged and and went up to talk to the manager on duty. He told me that they don't have anymore because the promotion ends on Tuesday. I then noticed that there was an option to make your pancakes Pumpkin for .99 cents so, we asked the manager if we could have our pancakes changed to pumpkin. Waited over 30 minutes for our breakfast and when it came out the pancakes were not pumpkin. Other than that, the breakfast was hot and tasted good.The appearance of this Denny's was clean and all the condiments were filled. On the ending I was pretty confused on why Denny's would have a clown set up and walk it around tables during Coronavirus. Very weird. read more

My son and I visited around 3am. I was a little skeptical bc it's a new location, but I was pleasantly surprised. Our server was Desiree C. She was very kind for it being so early. She took our order and our food came out perfectly!!! Mind you I subbed a few things here and there, and she got all of our food correct the first time. The chef cooked our food perfectly as well. Everything was well season and had great flavor. Desiree made sure she checked in throughout our meal to provide us with outstanding service. I was super impressed and can't wait to come back!
