Fast service, we got seated the minute we walked in, and the service is fabulous, JANNET is the best, bilingual, efficient and professional. We waited 5 minutes to be sat down, the waitress told us she'll be with us in a few minutes Within that time she kept going to other tables and when kitchen staff rang the bell for orders she kept screaming out that she was "busy" she was constantly yelling. Customer with take out order would come in and she was bothered by it. She did have an attitude each time she told EVERYONE she was busy. After 25 minutes of waiting for her to come to the table, we decided to leave. It wasn't her fault the management didn't schedule more help but she could've handled it better since the restaurant wasn't full. read more

Been to this Denny's a couple of times. La comida estaba bien como siempre. I tried to order in Spanish (I'm bilingual) and the waitress told me not to speak Spanish. Me dejó que no hable en español. She said she spoke English and gave me a backhanded joke about my facial expressions. Le dije que trataba de calcular cómo iba a traducir lo que necesitaba. She began to tell me that her son didn't speak Spanish, but had been going to Mexico so it's better and that I should try that. She told me to take my "amiguitos" (I was with professional coworkers.) My coworker said she was Cuban. La mesera empezó a preguntarle que tenia contra los mexicanos. My coworker said nothing, que ella solamente dijo qué es cubana y habla el español bien. I know everyone is working and there's a lot going on, but that wasn't even close to professional. I waited tables in college, not once did I ever tell a guest to stop speaking their language and to speak English for my convenience. We enjoy their food including their breakfast they give good portion starting a new day. Their lunch and dinner are incredible good through thev years Denny's have new items on their menu to see the people enjoy the meals. We often go to different Denny's in different areas. read more

Dennys never have good service or food, I've decided to give it another shot after 2 years,came down to the Cesar Chavez in East LA , the food was horrible!, eggs was salty , the toast bread smelled like rotten popcorn and tasted funny , the sausages were not fully cooked, I got my self a raspberry ice tea WATER DOWN Horrible, it also tasted bad, and to top it service sucks!!! I only got a refill 1 time, the lady took for ever to check up on us while she's in the back chatting it up with the other staff members and she had the nerve to ask if we were gonna leave her a TIP !!!! Lmao heavens NOOOO!!! She definitely didn't deserve no tip at all !!!! , please close all Dennys locations and definitely this Dennys in Cesar Chavez ,VERY DISAPPOINTED! read more

This restaurant should not even get a rating of one. I ordered online with free delivery. They got the order wrong. I got mac and cheese instead of onion rings. Was told come and pick up the onion rings because they could not redeliver. Duh.............there was a reason for ordering online with delivery because I could not get out of the house at that time. Was asked what do you want? They could not redeliver so I asked for credit for the onion rings. Only the manager could do that who was not there until 2 days later. Called 2 days later and was told he was not working at 1:00 PM . Called the following morning at 8:14 AM and was told he was busy in the office and to call at 1:00 PM. I said he will be gone. Reason given was that he stays longer on the weekends. Apparently the manager is avoiding the problem. He does not know how to issue a credit on an online order. I still don't have the $4.99 credit or the onions rings after 3 attempts. I would never do business with this Denny's ever again. The manager does not know how to solve problems, the clerk cannot take the order correctly or the cook does not know how to read English. It's a sad situation for any customer who deals with this restaurant. read more

I went to DENNYS expecting to use the Wi-Fi, as it is promoted on their website and on the exterior of the establishment. It is not right to not provide this amenity to patrons, particularly when it is typically available at all branches. As an individual who often travels and depends on Denny's for both dining and working, I am extremely let down by the server's conduct. This incident has left me feeling exceedingly irritated. Ate here around 9:30pm and it was pretty empty, but the service was less than subpar. Our order was taken and due to some miscommunication we received an extra plate of food. The waitress was rude when we explained we did not order the food and made a comment about it. She did not check in with us after this occurrence. She brought our check then left. When we went to pay at the front desk, I stood there with the check in my hand waiting for her to grab it and charge us. She stood at the other side of the desk doing nothing besides acting like she didn't know what was going on. I spoke up and said "what do I do with this?", then she looks up and said she was not talking to us. I put the check down and waited for her to grab it. We paid and left. I believe her name was Monica, but I'm not sure. She has red hair. The food was good. We did not get refills on anything because our waitress never checked in with us. read more
