Tried this Dennys close to your stay here in Temecula. Greeted and seated. We had a long night at the Temecula wineries which Dennys was suitable to dine since everything was pretty much close. We were starving and ready to eat! I wanted something from the breakfast menu. Ordered Steak and Eggs and Moons over my Hammies Sandwich. All was served deliciously fresh. This place was immaculate for being a Dennys! A very clean establishment. The waitress there could have used some help. She was stuck trying to accommodate folks that loved talking and wouldn't let her do her job. I don't know her name, but she was tall. I had to stop one of the other servers to get more water and pay my bill. I give a 5 star for presentation. Service was lacking. I would come back.

My family had a very good (breakfast) dining experience here, the staff was friendly, efficient, and the food was prepared well. Good to know - this location offers a military discount and for those 55+, they have separate menu options that are very budget friendly.

This Denny's has got it go'n on! From service & great food... to cleanliness. Claudia took care of us today for brunch and she is amazing! Friendly and always right on time with checking up on us. She gave us a number of options and told us about the specials. We had 2 orders of the American Slam: 3 eggs (scrambled) with cheese, bacon and hash browns. Coffee- of course - it was hot & fresh! The restrooms were clean and squared away, which is always a great indicator. I love breakfast/brunch and this location was a pleasant surprise. Birthday month celebrations! Took advantage of my free Birthday Slam from Denny's. A true classic American diner with home cooked meals at a reasonable price. Claudia was my server and she took care of me from initial seating to sending me off with a cup of coffee to go. She's a teal gem! Pancakes were fluffy, bacon was crispy, sausage was tasty and the eggs were a perfect over medium. Coffee was literally endless and hot! Great visit during birthday month. Keep on Yelp'n!

This is my go to spot when I am in town for work and stay at the hotel (Courtyard) next door. Both times that I have been there, Claudia has been working and she is wonderful. She greets you as soon as you walk in and asks what she can get you to drink. She engages in conversation with you and keeps you up to date on your order. This last time I went, she was so sweet she complimented the cook on the presentation of my breakfast plate...so I had to take a pic! The food was great, tasty as it always is, the value was amazing $10 for all that food and she asked me if I wanted a hot chocolate to go! So sweet! Definitely will be back next time I'm in town!

Always a great time coming to the Dennys in murrieta! Today I got a sirloin steak and eggs breakfast combo $16 and substituted the hash browns for fruit and toast for pancakes. Big difference from last time as they included grapes and bananas to the melons. Last time I only got melons. I saved the bananas to top my pancakes for sweet banana pancakes. Sirloin steak was delicious for what it was. I asked for medium but the steak was more on the medium-well side. Eggs scrambled. It's very easy to turn a full breakfast into a healthy one at dennys! Tip: you can only substitute the hash browns for another form of potato (like fries) or upgrade* to fruit. It's not really a substitute and costs 99 cents. Thank you to our server Kim who was very kind and showed great service to our table! Her smile was very welcoming.

Located on the corner of Madison Ave and Murrieta Hot Springs Rd next to 7-11 with plenty of parking and open 24/7. Conveniently near the 15 Fwy off Murrieta Hot Springs exit. We stopped here on Friday night on our way home after a boxing event at Pechanga. It was not busy at all, so we were seated immediately. Tonight, I had their Sirloin Dinner, and my husband had their Chicken Fried Chicken dinner. Everything was delicious with that authentic Denny's taste. Food was cooked to perfection with good presentation. Shout out to JC and our server John, both gentlemen were extremely attentive and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean and organized, the kitchen looked impressively clean with floors moped. This Denny's is a great example of excellent management. Overall, we had a very positive experience at this location and will definitely return.

Smokehouse Mac & Cheese Skillet. Mozzarella Cheese Sticks. T-Bone Steak.

I ordered the Smokehouse Mac & Cheese Skillet.. it was delicious but my friend ordered the T-Bone Steak. medium rare.. the steak we got, was well done., meat was dry and there was no pink. Our server said it was medium rare and we showed him, there's no pink, as normally found when meat is medium rare. Our server then sent it back to the kitchen to get another one, and the new one that we got.. wasn't medium rare at all. It was rare and too pink. Given it was a slow day., at least the cook should know how to cook a medium rare steak.. temperature between 130-135 degrees. We did not send the second steak back.. but Denny's should train their line cooks better. We appreciated the server trying to get our order correct.

Great food great service always I am never disappointed me and my wife enjoyed it here. The food is on time and it's piping hot very good coffee. All the employees here are wonderful and seem to love their job and welcoming people who are the diners. Thank you I gave this place. Five stars on the rough never disappointment and also thank you to our server. I'm gonna give him five stars and five stars to the rest of the employees and specially the cook. Service was horrible it took waitress Michelle about 10 to 15mins to ask us about drinks building wasn't even packed this was around 2pm. Saturday afternoon. Our cups were dirty so nasty my water had black specks floating inside it she would ask other customers if they were fine paying no attention to our table just plain rude will not go back and will not let my friends go there either . read more

It's almost starting feel like Denny's just doesn't care anymore. I used to come in and smell food. This last time I came in, it did not have a pleasant smell. The gentleman server seemed pleasant but our drinks were not getting refilled like the other two tables. If you come in and order a skillet or other plate, they will bring you some garlic bread. I thought it came with the meal. We then got the check and were being charged for the bread on two plates that we did not order. Should have complained but just did not tip. read more

I have always enjoyed coming to Denny's. I am always up to trying something new so we came in for breakfast & I ordered the Country Chicken Slugger. Menu said it was a New breakfast plate so decided to give it a shot. The dish arrived and it looked lovely. First few bites were good til I got to the chicken strips. Those things were hard as h***. Everything on the plate was good except for those chicken strips. I think they should stick to bacon or sausages!! read more

We came in from out of town, just passing through. We got amazing service from Breshela. Super nice and always very attentive. I was very happy with the service. It's hard sometimes as a single mother with three small kids to be able to get them to sit still and eat their food. She was very helpful and checked up on us very often. Thank you!!!!!!! read more

Don't ever order a T Bone here. It's 16.99 and is as tough as leather. Disgusting! Also, don't visit late on a Saturday night . They position their laziest crew. They are understaffed and the chefs are seen taking a break sitting on their rears while servers come up and have a little party with them chatting it up on the clock. This is BY FAR THE MOST ghetto location. read more

Worst experience ever from any Denny's, if I could provide 0 stars I would. Staff was very rude when I got there, made me wait a long time to get me a table. And when they did they provided me with one OUTSIDE when it was WINDY and COLD. Too top it off they brought my food cold, I was so upset because I had a long drive back home that I left the food there with how much I owed. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! read more

This location doesn't even deserve this one star! I am absolutely appalled that they would even serve anyone UNDERCOOKED food and not even have the decency to take it back or take it off your bill!! I ordered a steak and it was pink and purple when i specifically asked for it to be well done and when i brought it to my waitresses attention she informed me nothing would be done. Do not come to this location unless you want salmonella. read more

I was not encouraged by the 3 star rating, but it wasn't bad. The food was as good as any other Denny's and service was very good. The overall appearance is a bit shabby. Maybe a face lift of the restaurant would help. The wait staff was attentive and my glass was never empty for more than a minute or so. Our food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering. All in all a good experience. read more

We had a wonderful breakfast at Denny's today. We had a lovely brand new server named Isabel Mejia!! I guarantee you, that she is going to be a winner!! Good food and decent service, I like this Denny's more compared to others. Manager seems to come out on the floor and makes sure to interact with customers with a smile which I think is fantastic and adds great character to the diner! Good management goes a long way. It was my sisters birthday and they gave her a free breakfast platter and the waiter even came to sing happy birthday with us! Very nice girls and I will be coming back soon! read more

We came out to this area for an errand and ended up at Denny's. We thought it would be your typical service , get you in and out.. but the staff was amazing. Went to Denny's with my 16 yr old daughter. Stepping inside I was impressed with the diner look of the place. Greeted and seated promptly. Our breakfast plates were better than I expected, though I admit my expectations were not very high, based on Denny's meals at other lovations. I tried to go here last week. I was waiting for several minutes while I watched customer after customer complained about the service. The manager didn't even seem the least bit concerned or surprised about the complaints. Well in the end after watching all the paying customers complain and still not being helped we decided to leave and go else where. We will go to a different location but never again to the 29 palms location. read more

Just left this Denny's with a bad experience. Waited a longtime for food and beverages while others that came after me ate pleasantly. The service was not good at all, the time my family and I received our food other tables that arrived after us were paying their bill and leaving. On a day of remembrance, Memorial Day I go to Denny's to have breakfast to remember those that I served with who didn't make it home. Part of the reason why I came here today is because I received an email specifically for Memorial Day with a 20% off coupon. Which was not honored by this location I then asked for a military discount and they said they did not give any military discount on Memorial Day. read more

I feel really bad for the workers, they were definitely understaff and trying there best to meet customer demands. I see this more of a management and organization problem. Looking at the kitchen there was food sitting for about 10min or more before it to customers. Seem like it was only one person serving the whole restaurant. read more

We had a terrible experience with the hostess on Saturday evening 6/27. She was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Needless to say we took our business elsewhere and won't be back. It's unfortunate because we had dinner there a couple of weeks ago and our waitress was wonderful. We had such a great experience! That's why we were back again so soon. Placed an online order for pickup- the ordering process was quick and easy. Estimated pickup time was about 20 mins later- I arrived at that time and was greeted by a lovely hostess. She grabbed my food, checked everything in the bag and made sure I was happy with the utensils and condiments provided. We were in and out within 2 minutes. It wasn't overly sweet, but just enough to enjoy while still tasting the matcha. Price-wise, $20 for a sandwich felt a little high, and our total came out to $57.60 for both of us. There were upcharges for the gluten-free bun and oat milk, plus we added two sides of ranch. It's definitely on the pricier side, but the quality and flavor make up for it. We went during lunch and it was pretty busy, especially with an older crowd, but the service was still amazing. Our waitress checked on us often and was very attentive. Overall, this place is definitely a vibe, both inside and outside, and a great first-time experience. I wouldn't come here regularly because of the prices, but if I'm in the area again, especially for a doctor's appointment, I would definitely come back.

Everything we've tried has always tasted fresh and high quality at a very fair price. Recently though, after the ownership change, I became disappointed because instead of the delicious teriyaki sauce in the little takeout containers, we were only given salty soy sauce packets and chili sauce packets. It completely changed the experience for me, and honestly made me not want to come back. I finally decided to call and speak with Bob. I explained how much we missed the original teriyaki sauce and how the portions had started feeling skimpy compared to the past. Bob was wonderful. He listened, cared, and simply said, "I got you. I'll take care of you." And wow....he absolutely did. The steak and teriyaki chicken bowl I received was one of the best I've ever had from Top Grill. The portions were generous again, the food was fresh and flavorful, and that delicious teriyaki sauce was back! My husband loved his chicken bowl too. Ok the wow factor came how they were so brilliant and mindful during packaging takeout orders! Wow they definitely thought outside the box of how to take care of their customers and I'm assuming how they'd want their food delivered. So I ordered 3 salads basically; squid, papaya, and beef. All contains liquids. They put the papaya in a big closable container with a lid. Smart; you'd think everyone would do that. You'd be surprised who just dumps papaya in a styrofoam container! Anyway the squid and beef salads came separately from their salads. They made sure to pack the dry salads in a takeout box and put the mixed proteins in their marinades in another soup containers which was perfect and made it so easy to add on top when ready. I really love that idea! Not only that but the food was good. I really enjoyed the squid salad it had a nice sour balance. The papaya salad I requested Lao style to be the spiciest level 10 but it actually wasn't too spicy. Other restaurants definitely need to take notes because I really just had a bad experience with another Thai restaurant being so careless and my papaya salad sauce spilling not only in the bag but dripped all over my floors. You guys have a repeat customer in the area!

Last week, I was told I could stay and study as long as I ordered something. I spent around $20 on food and was treated courteously. This week, when I asked if I could stay and study under the same conditions, a different staff member rudely denied my request, stating there were no available plugs. The staff member doubted my claim about the plug and taunted me to show him where it was. When I did, he sarcastically pointed out that the booth with the plug was occupied. He then raised his voice, telling me I couldn't stay the whole day, despite it being 9:30 PM, a time I chose to avoid busier hours. His aggressive and condescending tone was unnecessary and made me feel unwelcome. He could have stated his reasons in a polite and courteous way and that would have been understandable. The difference in treatment between the two visits was stark. Last week's staff member was friendly and accommodating, whereas this week's staff member was hostile and dismissive. This Denny's was my preferred location, but after this experience, my family and I will not be returning. Consistency in customer service and clear communication of policies are crucial for retaining customers, and this location failed in both areas. Train staff on consistent and polite communication of store policies. Emphasize the importance of a welcoming and professional attitude towards all customers. Ensure all staff members are aware of available amenities (like plugs) and can provide accurate information. This visit to Denny's was extremely disappointing due to the unprofessional and hostile behavior of the staff. Consistency in customer service is essential, and this location's failure in that regard has lost them a loyal customer. I hope management addresses these issues to prevent similar experiences for others. Reward the lady from last week and fire the man who was rude tonight. read more

We've always come here and its always been 'okay' service we dont expect much because its Denny's.. But last night we had visitors that came and we took them here... The waiter was nice. But the manager was the one who took our order. We ordered tbone steak medium well and sirloin well done... They made the sirloid medium well with lost of blood and the tbone steak well done which was hard to chew... The sirloin had a few bites in and we complained because of how bloody it was and couldnt eat it.. Thinking we would get a new one instead I watched them take it and reheat it on the pan. First off this is very UNSANITARY. The steak already had bites in it and they put it in the same grill that the other food is being cooked in... It disgusts me knowing they even do that. So i complained about the tbone which has not been touched because it was too welldone... The manager was saying that we did not tell her how we want it cooked blah blah blah... Okay ive never been to a restaurant and ordered steak without being asked how we want it cooked? She said we never told her how we wanted it? Such a lie its her job to ask how they should cook it! So we asked to just make it to go because our appetite was already gone. She boxed it up and said here you go i gave you the fattest steak we had. She didnt apologize ir anything. Come home and open the box to find out the steak was cut and was smaller than what he oroginally got!!! Ridiculous! Unsanitary and rude manager! She needs to be fired and this place needs to be inspected. I wont come back again. read more

This is my favorite place to have a nice lunch! We always get the most friendly service from the staff! Valerie, Humberto, Jess and Rudy, to name only a few, are ALL outstanding! It never matters who serves us, we always leave smiling. My husband and I started going to Denny's just a few months ago for the mouth-watering pancakes but we keep going because the staff makes our day a little nicer each and every time! We tried the new kale salad with their classic chicken noodle soup.... TOTALLY HIT THE SPOT! If you've had a hard day like most of us do, go to this Denny's for lunch! We have a lot of birthdays in the month of august in my family and we like to go to dennys to get free breakfast. But this franchisee does not honor the free grand slam that you used to be able to get on your birthday. They make things difficult so that you give up and have to end up paying. Well I'm not paying for it on my breakfast when it was Always free in the past at other locations where the franchisee is not a cheap skate. You have lost my business permanently. read more

One of the best Dennys that I have been to in terms of customer service and quality of food. Even when the day is extremely busy, the staff are on it serving food quickly and efficiently. The waiters/waitreses are very nice and friendly. A current worker by the name of Claudia served us during our last visit, and she is our favorite. A very hard worker overall. Denny's has come a long way since we started eating at Denny's in the 1980's. Still have some of the same meals, named the same from back then. And they have added a lot of new meals. They also have a value meal per say which helps save money when the whole family goes out. Service is very good at this location. And the food is very good. read more

Worst dennys ive been to. Came in at 7:30 and there were about 15 people in the restaurant, all wondering where the server was. There were many plates sitting at the counter ready to be served and didnt move for 5 minutes.
