I give this place a one star because the place was full of people working and hardly anyone was ordering food they took forever for my family to eat and even gave us a discount because they messed up so much of our food, we even had to go up to them and tell them we wanted our food and then after all that I had sprite she filled my aunts drink with water then filled mine up with water too read more

They never refilled my drink when my food came it was cold and my fries was not done they took 45 minutes with my food

I have had issues with other Dennys in the past. So much so that we had stopped going. We were desperate in Myrtle late on a Saturday night with 4 kids to feed. Gave this one a chance and WOW! The service experience as well as the food is a three stars. The place could use a little help. The booth was uncomfortable, so uncomfortable that I felt that my a*s was gonna cave into it. They definitely need to refurbish them. The place or perhaps the carpet smelled like dog piss. Maybe I have a skewed view because our Denny's in NJ were sooo awful. To the point where when my mother suggested going to Denny's in MyrtIe Beach literally felt my stomach turning. Terrible service, only 2 waiters working at a time with like 15 people at Dennys, and we ordered our food and drink and we got our drinks 10 minutes later,and about 20 minutes after that. SLOW SERVICE! I wouldn't recommend coming to this Denny's if you want your food fast. Our drink alone took at least 30 minutes to be brought to us. Food took over an hour and the restaurant was empty. There was only one waitress actually waiting on people. The others looked to be just standing around. DO NOT ORDER THE SALMON. It looked nothing like the picture in the menu and tasted nothing like salmon. Probably our fault for ordering fish at a place known for breakfast food. I just left this place earlier and was by FAR the worst place ive ever been too.Went in and wasnt really busy at all.Waited at the podium stand to put my name one list so someone could seat me and waited 27 minutes..Plenty of open seats and tables because was only not even half full i would say...Sat down finally and a waitress came to table to take order for our drinks and had no personality at all..Was very short and just doesnt need to work as a waitress ..Finally came back for food order and it took seriously 1 hr and 40 minutes to get food..Was unreal.I should of left but my 2 kids were starving and was hoping it would be anytime..Noone in the place seemed like they had a clue..I will never ever visit this place ever again and will tell anyone that reads this not to waste your time on this place read more

I wish I couldn't even give them a star. This was the worst food experience of my life. Every single staff person we encountered was rude and disrespectful. We waited 45 minutes for our food with a hungry baby. Then when the food finally did make it out every single item was cold. My egg was over-cooked and my pancake was undercooked. Visited this location today while vacationing in Myrtle Beach. Never will I return. Only visit this location if you want to eat cold link sausage, eggs and grits. When we arrived our waitress was ok. Seemed to be doing the best she could. We had a party of 6. When served our food, a few items was out of place. That was ok, as long as they were able to correct it. As we began to eat everyone who had link sausage said "omg this sausage is COLD."! No joke. It was so cold I asked the waitress to touch it. She replied, "it's ok, I believe you" and proceeded to go get us hot sausage. She then came back and said my manager will be over to speak with you all. At that point I was still waiting, seeing that I can't eat eggs and grits alone, I waited about 7-8 minutes as my grits and eggs became cold. Finally the manager walked over and said, "hey how y'all doing. Everything ok. Alright, have a good day". And walked off. NEVER ONCE acknowledged our problem with our meal. She should have never came over as a manger if she was not going to acknowledge the inconvenience we had. I was not expecting anything free from this place but was at least expecting an acknowledgement of receiving icy cold sausage and having to wait while our other food became cold. Food is simple but good. My boyfriend and I ate there four times for breakfast throughout our vacation and 3 out of 4 of those times the customer service was sub-par. We had to ask more than once for things as simple as milk for coffee. The waitress we had two times was very monotonous and seemed like she didn't really care. The second time, a fly landed on my boyfriends fork and died. They have dead bugs and flies on their windowsills so that can ruin a lot of appetites. I would say Denny's is good and to go there for breakfast but just pray you get a good waiter/waitress! read more

The food was very satisfying, and our server was absolutely charming. I work in the service industry as well, and I know what good service is. She earned herself a 13 dollar tip on a 15 dollar tab just because of how impressed I was at her kindness and enthusiasm at the ridiculous hour of 3:30 in the morning. This has to be one of the worse experiences we have ever had with a restaurant anywhere let alone in Myrtle Beach! My wife and I get there in the morning and sit down and order coffee and water. The waitress is gone for at least 20 minutes and when I look for her, she is behind the counter texting on her phone. We got up to leave and to no amazement, there was another gentlemen leaving for the same reason. I stopped the manager and voiced my grief and we left. We are very particular about where we spend our money and how we are treated and I can tell you that we would N.A.I.L ,Never in life again, go to this place. It's Denny's, so you kind of know what to expect as far as food. The hostess seemed to be doing double duty seating and waitressing. But when she saw us, she was prompt, attentive, and nice. She was our waitress too and managed to seat people and get our food to us quickly and check on us (better than waitpersons I've had at other restaurants). My hubby got a burger and loved it. Kids seemed happy with their meals. I thought my cheesy mash potatoes could've had less cheese poured over top of it, but otherwise, my meal was good...you know, it's typical Denny's fare. read more

I know what your thinking...who writes a review for Denny's? I do. We traveled to MB for the first time last week and ended up here twice. Normally I wouldn't go to Dennys however by the time my husband and I got our three kids showered and in bed...nothing else is really open for food. I will say the service we received from a woman named Lauren or Laura was top notch. So much so that we asked for her the second time. I've been to this Denny's twice. The first time was fine. The second time was okay but could have been better. My pancakes tasted flat. No biggie. The waitress literally stared at us every few minutes. She didn't come over, just glared. Four other tables got asked to have to go cups when they left. My Grandmother and I didn't get asked. I had to ask another waiter. I hated how when I went to pay, I had the same waitress who asked if I wanted to leave a tip on my credit card. Tacky. I was leaving a cash tip. I gave her 25% because I didn't have other change but she didn't deserve that big of a tip. read more

I can to meet my friends this evening and arrived later than them, they were already eating. When I sat down, the waitress (Nadia) walked up and dropped the check without any of my friends asking for it, and didn't even ask me if I wanted anything. As we were standing outside talking she walked out. Obviously, her shift was over but having worked in the service industry, you always ask if someone wants anything, no matter if your shift is about to end or just beginning, even just a glass of water. I was highly offended by this low level of service and her seemingly agitated attitude about my arrival and won't be coming to this Denny's ever again, nor will I suggest my friends and family to come to this particular establish. I was actually hungry and hoping to eat something. The plus side; I didn't have to tip her, and wouldn't have if I were one of my friends already at the table. My one friend also wanted dessert but Nadia was apparently suggesting that dessert wasn't an option. This was unacceptable. read more
