We have been going out for breakfast every Saturday, for months now. We've tried many of the local restaurants, both chains and Mom and Pop establishments. The food at Denny's is, at times, really good and other times, it's just ok. The main reason we keep returning to Denny's is Kim, the waitress. She's friendly, great at her job, remembers what and how you like your meal and she multi tasks like no other. Keep on being you Kim because you do it so well. read more

Daughter wanted breakfast at 7pm tonight so we headed to Denny's at the Nashua Mall & Plaza. The interior looked great, but that's about where this greatness ended. We walked inside and there were 4 tables seated in various stages of their meals, there were three staff in front and had to have been no more than two in the back kitchen. After we were seated a table of 6 was seated behind us and a table of 6 were seated across from us. The table behind us had their orders taken and drinks delivered before we even saw our server. Our guy finally came and was going to just do drinks but we gave him the full order, including mozzarella sticks for app. We ordered at 7:20. Then we waited, and waited and waited. At 7:45 my daughter looked at me as said we should just go. I walked up to the counter - nobody around. Our server, the other servers - nowhere - I could hear them all taking in the kitchen. Finally our server came by and said "can I help you?" I said - seems like you've forgotten our order - mozzarella sticks, cheeseburger and chicken fingers? "He looked and said oh, ya I am sorry, we had one grill shit down and we are really backed up. I looked around again and clarified that there were only a few tables waiting on food. " I am sorry." I don't know whether he forgot to put in my order or what happened, but we left. We won't be going back to this Denny's... one of the few left in the area. read more

I am a loyal dennys customer when I travel because I like no matter where I go the food is consistent. This location is most definitely the best one I have ever been too, I have probably been too about 20 locations from Maine to Hawaii . Kim has been my waitress the three times I have gone, she is what every customer is looking for in food service. Friendly, kind, fast. I haven't seen someone hustling to make people happy with a smile in a while it's so refreshing. She knows her regulars and if your a new guest she still keeps you in coffee and makes sure you have what you need. As far as the food. Who ever is working in the back deserves a raise. Food is perfection. Comes out looking like it's ready to be pictured on the menu. The location itself is the cleanest I have ever been too.. DENNYS give these people a raise seriously in a time when the service industry and restaurants are struggling the staff here are a shining example of hard work and dedication. read more

I have been a regular forever. My 4 year old loves Denny's and asks to go all the time. Today was the worst visit ever. Even my 4 year old said "I hate Denny's. I don't want to go back." The waitress (I don't know her name because they don't introduce themselves or wear their name tags) has a raspy voice and dark hair was so rude that even a 4 year old called her mean. We left without eating. She walked us over to a middle table, threw the menu on the table and walked away. I told her we had to have a booth because my 4 year old has Autism and doesn't sit down well. She didn't listen and kept walking away. So we just left. It's sad really because we usually go 2 maybe even 3 times a week. My daughter loves the macaroni and cheese and garlic bread. But now even she doesn't want to go back. Good job Denny's. I know times are hard but maybe you should evaluate your staff. The best person you have there during day is Christine. At night, Matt. There is a heavy set waitress that works in the evening with Matt and she is just as rude and ignorant. Never smiles and rolls her eyes when we walk in. She never smiles and is bothered to take an order. At night there are 5 of us and we spend at least 60.00 if not more on top of the morning visits with just myself and my daughter. Personally, I don't think the food is very good and I could do without. I just always went for the smile on my daughter's face. Now that she doesn't want to go anymore, I can find a new place to take her and won't be coming back at night with the rest of the family. We should also state that the tables are always dirty, Nobody lifts the stuff on the table when cleaning, seats don't get cleaned and the floor is a death trap of spilled drinks and food. Im scared to think of what the kitchen looks like. To that raspy waitress this morning, Thank you. You have saved my family about $150.00 a week. It was much cheaper going to Dunkins after we left. Second time we came here and service was amazing both times! From the hostess, to the waitress to the manager helping his people out to make sure we have fast and friendly experience! I had dinner here with some friends from out of town last Wednesday night. The floor was wet and slippery as we entered and quite dangerous to walk on especially for my friend who uses a cane. We ordered an appetizer and it arrived; however, we had no utensils! Dinner arrived and the food was excellent; however, our server, Anya was not so excellent. My son and grandson arrived to eat and they received their food--again with no utensils for 5 minutes. When I went up front and asked to pay the bill, Anya said, "can't you see I am busy!" She had quite a negative attitude. I went outside for a few minutes. My party could have easily just left as Anya did not seem to care. I went back inside to pay again and waited 5 more minutes. She finally came over and her attitude continued. I stated that I work in a restaurant and her attitude was far from necessary! I certainly understand how busy a restaurant can be as I have experienced it firsthand; however, rudeness does not make it better. read more

Only rating a 1 because there isn't less. We decided to give this location another shot after having a horrible experience here previously. We figured with updates possibly came better trained or even new management? Sunday morning and there is small wait to be seated..we expected that even though there were several empty clean booths waiting for diners! (I'm guessing understaffed) However that wait turns into a painful HOUR LONG wait for our meal once we ordered..we sat for a good 15 mins before even being acknowledged, only to be served cold food. Empty booths everywhere yet people are waiting outside? Wait staff and receptionist standing by entrance smoking cigarettes...receptionist never bothered to wash her hands. Walked directly in and grabbed menus and seated guests! The excuse we heard repeatedly was that they were overrun with online orders and their kitchen was terribly behind. I guess that explains the only thing coming from the kitchen was headed out the door. We arrived at 945am and checked out at 1115...for a breakfast I didnt eat because it was cold. I've read some of the poor reviews here and I'd say those experiences are probably true. This location has gone through a lot the last two years. Most of the staff has stayed on through broken bathrooms and mask mandates. If you give them a break on the stuff that is out of their control, they do pretty good. My cousin and I were initially very impressed with the place. The atmosphere is cute and our waitress an (older lady) was quite a fun firecracker. The music was fun and our breakfast was good. We paid our bill and the waitress topped off our coffees. Within a minute another waitress informed us that we can't remain at the table just talking now as our waitress only had three tables to wait on. Wow - I've never been asked to leave a diner. So. I've been going to Denny's for...awhile. I've never had a problem. It's good, it's cheap and it's fast. It's especially convenient after a night of throwing a few back and you eat in the hopes of lessening the pain of the inevitable hangover the next day. But earlier tonight- I had the unfortunate experience of just merely walking into the building. My family and I moseyed on in around 7:25pm - apparently about the same time our waitress was due to go home. Upon walking up to the hostess-who barely acknowledged our existence- the waitress was hissing at the hostess about us being seated in her section. Now, as someone who used to be a server many moons ago- I understood how she felt. I myself, dreaded being sat a few minutes before I was due to leave my shift. Nevertheless, I sucked it up and moved on. The waitress rolled her eyes at the hostess (or us...or all of us) and stalked off, and the hostess (who still couldn't look at us for some reason) proceeded to sit us in her empty section. It was looking like a slow night at the time-- due to the lack of warm bodies seated anywhere in the building. Unbeknownst to me, the waitress had had a few words with my husband while I was in the ladies room. She had stated that "she was closed." Okaaay. Loooooooooong boring story short- when she came over we were greeted with "Didn't I tell you people I was closed?" and "I have a headache." No smiles, no little laugh. Just this gruff angry sneer on her face. We thought she was just joking at first- kinda busting our balls for us being her last customers for the evening because she was -SO CLOSE- to getting out of there. But as the minutes ticked on- we came to realize by her deafening silence and extra effort to loudly put things on the table and then scurry off in a huff we realized- "This kook is SERIOUS!" She was very curt, intimidating and rude. Not only did she muck up part of the order --at the end of the meal she tapped her finger on the tip part of the check for my husband to put a tip in...she hadn't even given him a pen to write with... so she gave him one and then STOOD there while he signed the check. My husband, being the nice guy he is, gave her a 4 dollar and some change tip on a 20 something bill (I gather it was mostly out of fear). I almost fell out of my chair that he even gave her anything at all--alas-- we didn't want to "get into it" with this beast in front of our child. I would have tipped her a bottle of fucking Midol. Now I know what your thinking... I know that we weren't walking into a fine dining establishment. I'm not pretentious enough to expect the red carpet to be rolled out upon my very appearance... but I damn well expect to be treated with a little dignity and respect while I'm a paying customer and you're working for a tip. And it's not MY PROBLEM that she got sat 5 minutes before her shift was to be over. I don't understand why she couldn't pass us off to another waiter instead of being so cruel. A customer service job is just that- CUSTOMER SERVICE. You wanna work somewhere else where your shift is over at an EXACT time? Go work for McDonalds. Bitch. As I sit here decompressing- I was thinking back to how nice we STILL were to her after her antics and PRAYING that this nut job didn't take a trip to the bathroom with my hamburger and rub it on the underside of the toilet seat before she served it to me. They do not actually do curbside pickup. I placed an online order for curbside and called when I got there. They said I would have to come in to get it, if I didn't have a mask they would give me one when I got inside. When I went in, there was nobody working at the front desk. While I stood there waiting they directed a maskless woman to the front of the restaurant to the bathrooms. She wandered around maskless until she found it. When someone finally has time to talk to me they found they had no record of my order. I handed her my printout of the confirmation and she still can't find it. She didn't offer to remake the food nor could she refund it. I have to call the manager in the morning to request the refund. I hope they don't claim they gave me food. read more

I visit Denny's occasionally due to its convenient location, cheap menu options, and its 24/7 hours. Most of the time I am served by Jennifer, who is extremely nice and makes sure that everything goes well. I've also had a couple servers who were alright as well, but I can't recall their names. I've only had a couple bad servers, but the manager resolved the issue. Please remember this is a fast-food breakfast chain, not fine-class dining. The food is good for the price, as long as they cook it correctly. The biggest problem I have at Denny's is the constant messing up of my order. This is always taken care of, but it can be a tad annoying to keep having to send food back! Overall, this is a convenient location located off of Exit 6 that is great for low prices and quick food (if they get the order correct). I would recommend if you are hungry, but I wouldn't go out of the way to visit. read more
