Our favorite place in Norwalk these days is Denny's! We started coming in for their bogo for $1 grandslam! Now, that my favorite Loaded Breakfast Sandwich is back and for under $10 too! Our waitress America was awesome! She suggested a roasted jalapeño and she was able to switch out my hash browns for fries! Oh oh and a side stack of pancakes for $2! What a great deal! I always come to this denny's for birthdays or for special holidays with my family and always have a good experience dining inside. For Father's Day my dad wanted Denny's for breakfast and it was going to be my treat because I just got my first job and wanted to treat him for father's day. However because of what was happening with immigration we were unable to dine at the restaurant so we ordered through the app for pick up. When we got home and checked the food I was so frustrated to see that they had forgotten one of the plates I ordered AND they got all the orders wrong AND they did not give me the 4 ranches I PAID for AND one of the ranches they did give me was SPOILED. Also It was truly unbelievable how little fries and scrambled eggs they gave us with our plates (eggs were supposed to be fried). Like not only did they give us our eggs wrong but they also just gave us scraps. It truly looked like they just scooped little of whatever was left and threw it into our plates, like something you would give to your dog. The app said the food would be ready in 20 minutes but when I got there I was told it wasn't ready. Another 20 pass by and I ask and turns out the food had been ready and it was just sitting there so when I got home the food was also cold. The waiters always pressure me to write a good review about the diner and about them but then give me horrible service like this. I've never experienced such poor service like this ordering online and also frustrating spending my hard worked money for expensive shit service. Most importantly I wasn't able to give my amazing dad the good breakfast that he was hoping for. This happened 2 weeks ago on father's day and its still frustrating to think about and I definitely won't be going back there and don't recommend. read more

We have been coming to this Denny's for decades. Since Covid we usual have our orders delivered. The delivery are always right on time or even a little early. I haven't been feeling well lately so decided that their MamaD pot roast would be a good choice. We ordered 2 of them. If there was a way to take them both back, we would have. We opened them up expecting the usual pot roast with vegetables we always get. What we saw instead was runny, watery, mashed potatoes everywhere and some pieces of roast beef. Not one carrot or any other vegetable. I took a picture and compared them to the one they have on their menu. I can see if they're out of of a menu item but at least say so. Don't try to pass this off as Pot roast at full price! read more

Your online system doesn't take orders so I called in mine and after taking my order and telling me my total I get the same "our system is not taking pick-up orders", then why did you take it give me a total and waste my time? Never again, host that greats you looks like she partied last night, server was struggling ( was slightly busy ) when I asked for the check and a to go container took him so long that they started cleaning our table by this time the area was half empty. This review is for TODAYS visit May 1st. Went in for breakfast with my husband was seated by the manager at a table that was not wiped down had no napkins or utensils. Celeste was our waitress (new faces) lately, we have been coming to this location for many years, she seemed overwhelmed. We ordered our coffee and breakfast, coffee was served they had NO SUGAR at our table when we asked the waitress she said they were out. How do you run out of sugar in a restaurant? Manager should at least send someone to Smart n Final to purchase a box. They didn't even have sweetened creamer, I overheard another customer say. Our food was brought out MINUS our pancakes I had to ask for them minutes later when I waved down the waitress. Just bad management at this location. I miss the old crew. Very spacious location plenty of parking for handicap and bigger parties. Clean parking lot and around the perimeter of the restaurant coming in front. Inside the floors are very clean everything looks nice and clean. Tabletops clean plenty of condiments on table as well. Monica are server was great bilingual and never forgot any request asked. I find it really ironic that I always come to this Denny's and I have never ever had any issue. This is my GO TO spot with my friends. If I could I would give this place 0 stars. I came the other night late and unfortunately none of us had masks , as we are all fully vaccinated. On top of it the dining room was empty. There was no other dining guests on site. The server didn't even acknowledge us and straight up ignored us. When we looked over to get seated " She quickly said no mask I cannot serve you " Obviously irritated because it was late and we are hungry we proceeded to see if we can cover our faces with our shirts and still no. With a nasty attitude she stated we cannot serve you at all , regardless. Tell me why I come again to this same Denny's days later ,I get seated with my friends. And throughout the night multiple , I mean multiple guys were being seated without masks and the server who denied us service ALLOWED all these other guests to come in without mask. This servers name was Esmeralda, worst etiquette and customer service ever. When I asked her " is there a mask policy in place here " she quickly stated "Yes". And I proceeded to ask then why were we quickly refused service BY YOU when all these other people just walked in without face masks. Hence at this time the dining area was FULL with lots of guests. My friend got eggs and bacon and the bacon was one inch long and two centimeters wide and the eggs were very bad. About the service it was sooo slow and I didn't get my salad in till 3 hours. The sprite didn't taste good. Never coming back again. Not good for big groups. We came at six o'clock and were done at eating at 11:34. AND MY GRANDMA ALSO SAID IT WAS BAD. New Year's Eve breakfast with my girlfriend. We were seated quickly and our server was very patient and polite. He gave us a good amount of time to order and came back when we weren't ready which was nice. So overall the beginning of our experience was great and our server... Alex I believe his name was... He was Excellent! Buuuuuuut, when we got our food it was pretty cold. My salted Carmel banana pancakes looked NOTHING like they were advertised. I was lucky if there was 6 banana slices in there, on top of them being small and cold. The other Dennys that we frequent on pioneer off artesia serves LARGE PANCAKES and they're loaded! So these were very disappointing. The rest of my food wasn't as cold as the pancakes... more room temperature-ish but atleast my girlfriend's food was still warm.
