Tried to have a meal here while waiting to check in to our hotel. The guy said there was only 1 server which was fine we did not mind waiting. He wouldn't even seat us but he sat 2 other guests. Too bad I didn't catch his name so that the manager could talk to him about what customer service means when they see this bad review. When you're old (like me!) you can order off the 55+ menu AND get a fifteen percent discount with your Aarp card. To keep you coming back -- smart marketing I think -- there's a twenty percent coupon on your receipt (regardless of age) if redeemed within seven days. So, my friend and I returned each of three mornings for what was an okay breakfast (iffy coffee; sometimes strong, other times watered-down.) The wait staff is generally pleasant, BUT -- this is a woman who should be behind the scenes -- "Cathy" who works the register and the door, is devoid of customer service. Three days in a row. Wanted to go to the Denny's close to my house but unfortunately it was closed. So I decided to go to the Denny's close to the outlets since it was one of my stops. When I walked in I was very quick to be seated which I appreciated. After sitting down my family and I waited a while to get service once the waitress came she greeted us and took our order. When she brought the drinks I received my strawberry lemonade that tasted like water and syrup. The waitress was nice to bring me another corrected. It seemed as if she was very stressed though because she kept stating that she needed a break as she walked away. Once my family and I received our food it was kinda cold. I kept eating because we were very hungry. I got the pancakes with eggs, bacon, and fries. When eating my eggs I found out there was hair right on top of the cheese I had with it so I stopped eating from that plate. My husband informed me that he would tell the waitress to bring me another one and to eat my pancakes since it was on a separate plate from the eggs. I started to eat my pancakes when I noticed they were extremely hard and felt like I was chewing on chips. I informed the waitress who said she could offer me another order or she could take it off my bill. I was still hungry so I asked for another. After waiting for about 20 mins my order had still not come out. My family had already finished eating their food and I completely just lost my appetite. Come to find out before we left that they had still not started on my order. I understand it might have been busy but I felt like I should have been prioritized since I had been there longer and my order was messed up. Will not be coming here again. read more

This Denny's is located at a super busy location, especially in the morning. However, we didn't have to wait very long to get seated. Our waitress was pleasant but didn't stop to chat as she was obviously spread thin. It took a bit longer than I would have liked to get our food. As you can see by the picture the omelette was huge, big enough to share and it was delicious. The French toast was very good also. Denny's will never be a five star review, I mean, it's Denny's. Came here for breakfast, but it turned into brunch/lunch due to the wait. First off, somebody tried to cut in front of me when I was waiting patiently in line. If the manager didn't happen to come by and point out to the staff that I had been waiting first, the other party would have been seated before me. Our waiter had kindly apologized in advance that our service would be slower than usual because he was managing multiple tables and covering for another staff member due to issues with taking break (aka work drama). I did appreciate this early information so we knew what to expect, but the wait turned out to be ridiculous, on top of getting my boyfriend's order wrong! I had the Sticky Bun Pancake Breakfast with sausage. I enjoyed my fluffy, sweet pancakes. My boyfriend, on the other hand, did not completely enjoy his order. He had the Steak Skewer and Eggs Skillet, and the steak was juicy and great, but he had specifically requested the mushrooms to be on the side because he hates mushrooms and was going to give them to me. He also requested toast for an additional 99 cents (as indicated on the menu), but the toast didn't arrive until he was practically done with his meal, AND he was charged $1.99 instead because the waiter said he put in the toast as a side after he had already ordered the skillet meal. Well, if the waiter wasn't so busy, my boyfriend would have been able to request the toast sooner, but we couldn't get his attention and had no idea it would result in an additional charge than indicated on the menu until we received the receipt, which took a long time to obtain too! Here's what we had: + Sticky Bun Pancake Breakfast: Cinnamon sauce and cream cheese icing drizzled over two buttermilk pancakes with glazed pecans cooked inside the pancakes, served with two eggs and hash browns, and choice of two strips of bacon or two sausage links ($7.99) + Steak Skewer and Eggs Skillet: Grilled sirloin steak atop fire-roasted bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, and red-skinned potatoes, topped with a sweet bourbon sauce and two eggs ($10.29) - add toast for an additional 99 cents Overall, the food was good, but the service was extremely slow.
