I had the country fried steak this time but I did have the chili cheese omelette on my last visit and I didn't snap any pictures because a customer had a medical emergency and an ambulance and fire truck came to the restaurant but I remember liking it. The decor is nothing fancy but it's not a dive with over priced omelets like my breakfast experience, look at my last review. The country fried steak was noticeably bigger than most places around town except for NA cafe which is a real country steak and I just expected a frozen restaurant supply quality. It was golden brown with that commercial sausage gravy which is the norm for 99% of breakfast restaurants around town so I'm not going to knock them on that because I'm a country fried steak guy all my life. The sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly. The extra crispy hash browns were cooked perfectly and the sourdough toast was better than the average restaurant where you couldn't tell if it was white or sourdough with that chew. Overall it's a solid breakfast spot with all my visits and at $13 it's $9 cheaper than my last breakfast experience at a dive restaurant and hits the spot.

The counter service was a great bonus and gave the place that classic diner feel. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The corned beef hash was some of the best we've had, the Western omelette was loaded with fresh ingredients, and the meat lovers skillet was hearty, packed with bacon, sausage, ham, and plenty of flavor. Every plate came out hot, the portions were generous, and everything was cooked just right. Friendly service, great food, and a classic diner atmosphere.
