Only thing to note was that the unhoused seem to be an issue. 2 people were kicked out while we were there. The staff and management handled it well and its not a reflection of them at all. I had to leave this review because my elderly mother loves this place, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst breakfast experiences I've ever had. The restaurant was dirty, and the restrooms were in terrible condition. There was an unpleasant odor throughout the restroom area, and it did not appear that cleanliness was a priority. Although the staff was polite, the overall condition of the restaurant was disappointing. My breakfast sandwich looked old, dry, and as if it had been sitting in a freezer for far too long. The quality of the food was unacceptable. What concerns me most is that many senior citizens seem to enjoy coming here, and they deserve much better food and a cleaner environment. I honestly don't understand why this restaurant continues to attract so many customers when there are far better breakfast and brunch options available nearby. I sincerely hope the owners take these concerns seriously and improve the cleanliness and food quality. Their customers, especially the elderly, deserve a much better dining experience. Never in my life thought I would rate Denny's a 4 out of five but here goes. You have to rate based on the type of place you are in. Had my car at the dealership just down Camelback. It was early and I was hungry (enough said) they have recently got some positive press about a busboy there who had worked there for like 40 years! And I got to see him, great hardworking guy! Got an omelette with cheese and mushrooms , hash browns and sourdough toast. The omelette was light and fluffy and packed with mushrooms! Good hash browns and lightly toasted toast. I've been coming to this specific location since I was a kid, back when so much of the gay community in Phoenix would frequent it that we affectionately called it Jenny's. This is the best place for a good old fashioned, well-priced diner meal paired with friendly service. The $9.99 Super Slam hits every time. Our waitress today was named Saydra, and she was an absolute gem. She brought the good vibes and friendly conversation. The food came out hot and fresh, not greasy like a lot of other Denny's. I've been to this Dennys over the years and had mostly good experiences. This one was not one of them. My dining companion and I were seated rather quickly. The restaurant was pretty busy with a lot of the seats taken up. We ordered and I got a meal with eggs, sausage, bacon and hash browns, my dining partner ordered a breakfast with egg whites, sausage, hash browns and a pancake. When she ordered the egg whites, the server asked scrambled and she said yes. When we got our plates my dining companion got regular scrambled eggs rather than egg whites. She told the server this and the server said, you said scrambled and said oh well. No exchange, no making it right. We both tried the sausage and it did not taste like freshly made sausage. The hash browns tasted like they had been cooked in old oil and the bacon I had had a weak bacon flavor. When I went to pay, the cashier asked how everything was. I said it was very different. No follow up questions from her after that. This was a very poor visit and we will not be dining here anytime soon. read more

We came in for an early dinner and had a most wonderful server, his name was Alfredo. He delivered top notch service in every way, from being friendly to being attentive. Just one instance was when my companion mentioned she had forgotten to ask for her hashbrowns to be extra crispy and he stepped right in and asked the cook to crispy them up. You just don't find service like this very often any more, but you can at the Denny's on 7th St and Camelback in Phoenix. read more

Came in after midnight and got seated right away. Asked for our drinks and we needed time to look at the menu. Waitress didn't come back and the other waitress checked on us to see if we ordered and said no. She apologized and started to take our order as our waitress came and said she can take over. Orders placed, food came out quick and said she'll come back to check on us. Decided to order delivery from here. The food arrived on time. It was warm, not hot, but the microwave easily solved that problem. I had a very tasty sirloin steak, fries and corn. Overall it was an acceptable delivery meal. If you want Dennys, I recommend actually going there as the service is always fast and the food will always fill you up. read more
