Came here after our great movie time and got served well by the staff. He seated us and asked us directly what to drink while choosing the menu, we chose hot Choco and it came rite away, not too sweet and the foam on top added the flavor. The thing is good is it's not tooo sweet! We ordered their omelette, Ultimate and Philly Cheesesteak. The food was made fresh and it came less than 10 mins, still sizzling hot, looks yummy and the amount of the accessories is adequate, not too much and seal the omelette very well. I have been a regular on week days for a few weeks now and I always tip and even verbally gave one of the cooks compliments for cooking my breakfast so well. This morning was different and I'm taking it personal. I always order the exact same meal, the fit slam. I always refused the fruit but pay for two extra pieces of turkey bacon (crispy), and cheese on my egg whites. This morning eggs where whole eggs in lieu of egg whites, I was initially given cold shedders cheese in small bowl in lieu of cooking them on the eggs as usual, I had to request the cheeses be melted. I always request butter on the side to put in my toasted muffin; however, it was straight out of the bag, not even toasted. I feel the cook made a conscious decision to prepare my meal in a substandard manner. I ate it because I was in a hurry. I tried their new chicken sandwich and asked for the tomato mayo on side, but they put it inside anyway. The bread was soggy and oily, and the whole sandwich was very mediocre. The fries seemed low in quantity. The sandwich on the plate with fries gave off a very sad vibe and both looked and emoted emptiness. All this for the price of $10. You can easily get a better chicken sandwich at Chick Fil A for a fraction of the cost. I wouldn't say my experience was below expectations though. My past dining opportunities at other Denny's were filled with just as sad food displays and just as overpriced and low quantity portions. read more

I came here on a night where I just had a long work shift so I was hungry as well and it was the only place close and open. The server introduced himself, very courteous and polite and soft spoken, I could tell by the way he spoke to me of the menu he was knowledgeable with the hits on the menu. I ordered the nachos, the full order and shared with my friends, the food that night was a banger, the ambience and atmosphere was amazing with Manual, he refilled water and kept watch over the coffee to pour more when we needed it. I think the best part was his energy, sometimes workers in general come to work and they have subpar energy to just go with the flow, but I can see with him he genuinely enjoys his job and he's so passionate about making sure everyone gets the best service possible, I'll be coming back for sure, if I could I would give him more than 5*!!! read more

So why review a Denny's? This is actually my 2nd one. I think when a place with a stigmatism like Denny's does it right, I want to take notice. Being the coupon freaks we are, this particular Denny's always has some decent coupons out there, usually 20% off your meal. That usually brings it down to about $25 for 2 with drinks, and this is for actual dinners, not their $2, $4, $6, $8 specials. Another thing we like is this Denny's is very clean and well kept. It's actually in the parking lot of a Best Western Motel so I'm guessing more motel guests eat there than anyone else because they are never super busy. Another reason we like this particular Denny's. It is just never busy when we're there. (Hmmmm, maybe I shouldn't review it then so it doesn't get too busy?) Also, the service has always been better than your average Denny's. Another plus. So, clean, coupons, good service, and you're basic Denny's food all make one a place we'll return to on a regular basis. read more

Its Dennys, so expectations aren't high. However this was one of the worst times there. My grandpa had a gift card he has been wanting to use. We stopped in for lunch on a Friday around 11:30. The place was busy for being social distanced, but not overly busy. However, our food took almost 40 min to come to our table. I had to get up and ask where the food was. Also, our server seemed annoyed by that and also when I asked for more ketchup. My grandpa is a tiny man and ordered a single patty burger, but they gave him a double patty. A few bites into it, he seemed so overwhelmed so I had to remove one of the patties and keep it on my plate. Luckily, we were not charged for the extra patty. I ordered the pot roast. It was average. The grilled zucchini was the best part of the dish. The mashed potatoes were hard and flavorless. I suggest getting pot roast at mom and pop diners such as Hungry Bear or Pepper Shaker. I always come to this location around 1am-3am that when I normally get off work I love this location since I go dead at night there usually isn't many people there unless it's a Friday night , the food is always good I usually get pancakes with egg white and hash browns if you haven't had their vanilla cream with the pancakes please try it ! Sounds like it'll be super sweet but it isn't it's the perfect amount of sweet and is really buttery in consistency. I normally get few appetizers like mozzarella sticks and fries. This location was super busy when we visited. I believe they were short on staffing because we didn't get our drink orders taken up until about 15 minutes being seated and actual food orders being taken up until an additional 15 minutes later. The lady who took our order informed us that Our server was a little behind, which was totally understandable being how busy they were. When our server had given my family our meals, I was informed that my omelette would be out shortly--- I tried to ignore the fact that he said my order wrong but I figured that it might have been a mistake because of how busy he was, but when I had finally received my meal, it was in fact the incorrect meal. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, so I just requested the original meal I had ordered; however It seemed that my meal was actually handed to my uncle and that the omelette belonged to him. I insisted on just eating the omelette however our server was adamant on correcting this right away. He allowed us to keep the omelette and he had brought me my original order within 5 minutes. Now with this whole review, I can say, yes it was frustrating having to wait a long time, however, this was not in the control of the staff. Clearly they were trying their best especially our server ( wish I had taken his name down) even though he was behind and it was busy, he kept his composure and didn't let that get in the way. The food was great per usual! Other than the wet towel odor smell that came from our table, there was Nothing to complain about at all. I had a bad experience last night. My family and I decided to go around 11pm. Neos was our server but he was rude. He kept rushing us to finish to the point that my 6 year old daughter had to stop eating her meal. He then rush us to pay and was just waiting around for payment. I sent my son to pay so server wouldn't be just looking at us but then he kept asking for his tip. Then Neos added 18% of tip without even asking us. So we told him we had left tip on table and he asked us how much are you going to give me ? I told him tip was optional and he just laughed. I don't think he should be forcing us to tip when he wouldn't even check on our table. We later asked for a manager because he was talking back to me and laughing at what I would say and he told me there was no manager in but he was in charge. Haven't been to Dennys in awhile. My boyfriend and I usually go to IHOP when we crave breakfast but everything was closed or only for take out. Dennys had out door seating available. It was extremely empty and slow, but I HIGHLY recommend this location. The staff is extremely hard working and the customer service is amazing. It's sad to see the restaurant business in the state that it's in during these tough times. Our food came out right away and our waiter was awesome. I believe his name was Manny (hard to tell with masks on). He checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a great conversation with him about what was going on in the world and were able to connect with a total stranger about the difficulties we're all facing. This is a special little Denny's Diner. We don't live in the area, but my company has a temporary job across the street from this Denny's. I have taken my workers there for lunch 4 times in the last 3 weeks. Every single time, there is a person waiting at the counter to greet us as we arrive. A server as been with us promptly and taken our orders with a smile every time. The food has come out quick and tastes great. Wife and I have had problems in the past with the Denny's throughout Orange County. This time was no different. At first everything seemed great. The Denny's we used to go to (in Fullerton) always smelled like old mop water and everything was dirty. This Denny's didn't smell off putting so that was a plus. We were asked to wait five minutes which isn't bad considering we came during the tail end of the breakfast rush (about 11:15am). I was impressed originally by the attentiveness of the hostesses, who were fine. They all helped the customer and talked to people. Once we were seated though that's when things began to go awry. The table was dirty and had a shiny glaze on it when I sat down. When I saw that other tables were being cleaned I chalked it up to having been recently cleaned. I tried to wipe away the cleaner but, what's this? The napkin is getting some resistance. It was not cleaner. IT WAS SYRUP! Lovely. At this point the waitress came to us and asked what we wanted to drink and gave us our utensils. I ordered coffee and it came quickly. After we ordered food I began to add cream and sugar and decided to stir it a bit. On my spoon there were HUGE globs of what appeared to be dried cream or sugar. Not sure. Was disgusting. I looked around for the waitress who was busy helping other customers, but she never came back to us until 20 minutes later, with the food. Luckily my wife had a clean (I hope) spoon. When the food arrived I exchanged silverware, and the waitress apologized. I began to eat and noticed that while my pancakes were nice and hot, the eggs, hash browns, and bacon were lukewarm and beginning to get cold. How hard is it to prepare a meal so that it stays warm? Or maybe the cook was fine and this waitress just taking her time (by this time there was hardly anyone in the restaurant). I had finished my first cup of coffee shortly after eating one of my pancakes. I left my cup on the edge of the table as a sign that I would like some more. More than 10 minutes go by, our waitress was nowhere to be seen and my wife and I had nothing to drink. The waitress finally comes by but to ask if we need anything else. Really? How about a refill you dolt? By this time I've had enough of the Denny's experience and decided I would rather just drink water and leave. TL;DR? Let's sum up our experience: -waitress is an idiot that doesn't spend enough time on each table -didn't get a refill within any reasonable amount of time -no refills were offered until just before we were about to leave 35 minutes into our having sat down. -filthy and disgusting silverware -table was sticky and covered in syrup -half the food was cold and rubbery Please go somewhere better. If you're at the hotel it would be best to get a taxi or über elsewhere. This place is a mistake waiting to happen. read more
