This Denny's used to be my favorite. They had great managers. I go there so much, a few of the waitresses know us well. Lately though it's gone downhill fast! Service has gotten bad..today I stood there to be seated for 7 minutes without so much as made eye contact with. Never before has this happened to me at this Denny's. Come to find out it's the "Manager" who was ignoring me. Never seen her before and if that's how she "Manages" she shouldn't be there at all! Horrible customer service. Time and date 8/28/18 at 7p.m.. whatever you do, dont go there on Tuesday evenings when this so called manager is there. read more

I'm here in puyallup for a few days . Came here order our food from a rock star . She took our order brought it out notice my husband fish was small and ordered him more , he kept his first and got another .the fish was excellent he said , my veggie burger was great added some heat to it and wow amazing . The food was great and the service was out of this world , she was running , laughing with customers , hugging them , Torra will make your experience worth it .She brings happiness to this place , honest and loving her job . We had the best ever burgers with crisp, bursting with flavor, hot, and just plain yummy seasoned fries. My husbands sirachi burger was filled with jalapeños much to his delighted taste buds. The bacon chicken burger was full of crisp bacon, perfectly grilled chicken and lettuce, onions and tomatoes. Just awesome. read more

So I've come in to this Denny's quit frequently, I live right down the road and it's open 24 hours. Every Time I've gone in I've been helped by Sarah. Now the first time i sat and watched her talk to another waitress for 45 minutes while the food she grabbed and brought to my table sat for that 45 minutes, second time was hair and cold food. The third time again same girl and I'm waiting....this young employee named Cody walked by who wasn't a server asked if I've been helped, I told him no and he quickly got our drink orders and informed our waitress...and she still took her time and it was not busy, cody had time to come back with our drinks...I came back a fourth time because of Cody and I was happily informed he just got promoted as a server. Went with three friends at 11:15pm and left after an 1hour and 20minutes because all we received was our drinks. First waitress was rude and they skipped our table 2 times. It was busy a bit but after getting skipped TWO times we had enough and walked out. Im guessing this is how they treat all military personnel that walk through this Denny's. read more

Never had an issue with this Dennys. It's what you expect from a Dennys. There was this one moment my wife and I went around 2am. It was pretty busy for being 2am on a Sunday. The fries i got were cold AF and the bread from my club were burnt AF. The waiter did offer to get me new fries but i didnt mind it. Overall, not too bad. The wait staff is very attentive. read more

I came here to have brunch with my family. It was pretty busy (not really packed) since it was a Saturday and (I assume this might be another reason) Halloween. Thankfully we didn't have to wait too long to be seated and the waitress came to our table maybe a few minutes after the host left. I got coffee when the other members of my family got water. I had to ask two different people maybe a couple of minutes apart for sugar and milk because 1) my waitress didn't ask if I wanted some and 2) I noticed that the sugar holder at our table was out of regular sugar and only had sweetener (and with that, it was running low). We had to wait a while for our food. Probably a half hour? Ok, maybe not that long given the fact that they had so many people to attend to. I order a waffle grand slam (?) and my family each had a Grand Slamwich and a Club Sandwich, respectively. The food tasted bland and I noticed that my coffee wasn't that hot (I had drank some as soon as I got at least the creamer which wasn't too long after given the actual coffee). But I still ate and drank because I was hungry. The waitress didn't come by and check on us until towards the end of our meal (I wanted a refill). The interior of the establishment was nice. They have a counter just to order food to go and a podium for the actual restaurant which was nice. It's roomier than any of the other Denny's I've been to so that was a plus. My experience here was decent but I think I'd only come here on a "last resort" basis. read more

The food is alright but the service is horrendous. On a busy night there was only one server to service the entire restaurant. There was very little effort or care on any other employees end to help the server. Several tables just up and left do to the lack of service, it was honestly hard to watch, my date and I stuck it through so we could guarantee the server got a decent tip. I've given this restaurant more than enough chances before writing this review. usually I go in late night (around 11) or midday (around 3) rarely is it busy unless its a weekend. we tried again last night. i asked for extra extra crispy hashbrowns and they came out barely done at all. eggs were undercooked and service sucked. i asked for a refill on my water 4 timss finally got it after I was done eating. she never got us our sauces either....slow service. bad food. will not return. read more

The food here is always good especially the value. I paid 6 dollars for bacon, eggs, pancakes, hashbrowns, and biscuits and gravy. So a really great deal, but our server was terrible and rude. She just threw our drinks on the table and forgot about us a lot. The restaurant was not busy at all for 3pm and she didn't have a lot to do. We waited 15 minutes for a glass of orange juice and a water. When asked to order our food she said she had people infront of us. And she disappeared for another 15 minutes. Night shift sucks. First it took forever to get drinks or food. Rude sever and host. My food that I order they got wrong and it tasted gross. Fat all in my steak I didn't order zucchini and I got that mac and cheese Which tasted like it had sour cream in it and my mashed potatoes were dry and they cooked the bread right. Honestly I could have gone to McDonald's to get a better meal and service. I will never come here again.l!!!!!!! Better service and food at the other dennys on mountain hwy. Worst customer service ever!! The waitress and management is rude and disrespectful. Had family in town and went they served all our food wrong messed up on our order and then tried to cover up and n bring us food once we r half way done with our food! The service is the worst I had yet at Dennys! They tried to charge 35 bucks for a tip which was not even a tip I would not mind paying for if the service we had was good but nope I will not pay for service that is not good! The hostess kept trying to insist strangers sit together at a larger booth rather than seating one couple. For nearly 20 minutes the left that booth open while couples piled up who didn't want to sit with strangers. This policy was stupid and listening to the hostess thinking people where being unreasonable just annoyed me. GET A CLUE, people want to eat with people they know and not strangers. read more

Well we usally go to denny's just for breakfast and not that often, but oh acouple weeks ago we went, (and i think they have a new manager), everything, everyone were really nice and helpful. So I ordered the chicken fried steak and steve ordered the Prime Rib Skillet, It was really good, so good that we had to go back the next morning, but instead i had the $2.00 bisquit and gravey. This is the 5 star of the Denny's. A bright, cheerful, and active place. Right near better hotels and close to shopping center and Costco. Everyone was so friendly and service was prompt and efficient. Had breakfast, favorite grand slam. Pancakes smaller than in old days but good. Same goes for eggs. Forget this place !!! We have gone here on and off for years. We are done with this place, the bad service, cold food and rude servers and management. The servers run the place like its a 3 ring circus and management sits and watch it happen. The ring is a server named Latoya, The service was great with just her, then her sister got hired, things went down hill from there, and now the sisters daughter works there. They play around, yell at each other from across the room, when this starts the service to the customer goes down the tube. their to busy playing with each other then doing their job. We went there a couple of months ago and had to complain about the sister. When we were talking to the manager the sister got rude to my wife IN FRONT OF THE MANAER!!! We went there last night and will never go back. The sister had the girl sit us in the off area, after 15 min a waitress and up and said I'm sorry have you waited long? We just got up and asked for the manager. 3 waitresses went to the back to get her. When she finally came out we had an attitude right off the bat. She would not listen to a word I said. Just offered us free food. By this time people were looking at us. We said no and headed out to the door. The manager followed us to the door repeating free food. I told her 2 time to leave us alone. She went as far as taking the door from me and still repeating "free food" as we were walking down the steps to our car !!!! If you go there and get bad service don't be a white person and complain about a black person. You will be black balled, given bad service and chased out by the manager !!! read more

Been going to this Denny's for 4 years now! Our first visit we loved how great the service was, clean it was, and the food was exceptionally good! The Manager interacted with the customers and you could tell he enjoyed bring quality service to his customers! Our Favorite waitress is Tora! She is a very hard worker and goes the EXTRA MILE for her customers! Tora makes you feel like your family and like it's a dinner at her house kinda vibe! We mainly come when Tora works and eat there at least once a week! This little Gem is in the South Hill of Puyallup right off the freeway. They have a Military discount which is Awesome to support our Hero's! Weekends breakfast time is very busy so bring some patience. Bring ear plugs--this place is loud. Between the hurried table cleaning and banging of places there are the employees screaming at one another across the dining room. "Where's the broccoli? IVe been waiting a long time." I thing the customer has also been waiting. Then there is the yelling at customers as they enter, "Have you been helped?" Meanwhile everyone looks around to see who is. Wing yelled at next. As for the food, I ordered eggs over easy and got scrambled and the toast was not toasted but buttered bread not warm enough to melt the butter.
