I have reviewed this restaurant in the past but none of that matters because this was a different visit which means a different experience. It was late, I wanted a burger but I didn't want McDonald's or Jack in the Box. On my way home I was like Denny's is always open let me see if they still have that Bourbon Burger. I spotted it on the menu and immediately added it to my cart. It felt like forever but when I finally got it I swear for a minute I went to heaven. The golden brioche bun is so inviting and delicious and it definitely gets the party started.. With buns like those you have to check out the rest of the merchandise. Let me just say this burger did not disappoint. Whatever

Kim and Artie are the most wonderful servers here at dennys they are so much fun and so sweet and are so helpful and patient when I bring the kids for food. Love this place !!!

I see all the negative reviews but every time I come my food is always hot and cooked to my satisfaction. I prefer to asks for the same sever because he always provided me with good customer service. Artie S he always checking on you to see if you needed more coffee are if he could get you anything

It seems like it has been several years since I last patronized this restaurant and wrote a review. But the day finally arrived where I could bring my dad back to one of his favorite eateries for some father / daughter time together. We arrived at a slow time, so we received prompt and extremely friendly service. Darvaye was very sweet and accommodating while taking our orders. I wanted a grilled cheese sandwich & soup from the 55+ selections. But the soup of the day was chicken noodle which I wasn't really fond of, so she was happy to make a change to French fries instead. My dad ordered two eggs over medium, two sausage links and wheat toast. We both ordered root beers to wash it down with. We were very hungry, so our food was just as expected, appetizing and satisfying. Just what we would consistently expect at a Denny's. My dad liked reminiscing when he was a regular and the staff made him feel special like a VIP. I hope we can return soon and see if any long term employees might be working that day just to say hi!

I'm beginning to notice a pattern: these aren't cookie-cutter restaurants. They have personality, a playful spirit, and the feeling that some people actually enjoy creating places where people want to gather and belong. Imagine a classic neighborhood diner that wandered into an arcade, picked up some incredible art, and decided everyone should just be happy. The staff are genuinely welcoming, the portions are generous, the comfort food gives solace, and breakfast lovers can rejoice because it's served all day. Whether you're there for a hearty meal or simply soaking up the atmosphere, Roc & Sol has earned its loyal following for good reason. A special note on Janah and Alicia (pictured), who made our family breakfast feel like more than just a meal. With effortless expertise, warm conversation, and infectious energy, these adrenaline junkies created the kind of experience that keeps people wanting more. They seemed to feed off the positive energy they shared with their guests--and gave even more in return. If Twisted Track Station surprised me by the genius of Crazy Matt, his family, and his people, Roc & Sol convinced me it wasn't a fluke. Sacramento needs more restaurants with this much heart.

Happened to be in the area a couple weeks ago so we had to try it given all the hype we've heard…read moreabout it. Let me say we were not disappointed. The food was delicious: I had the pear and pecan French toast and my wife had fried green tomatoes egg Benedict which she found super yummy. Their multiple line check-in and wait system where you line up again in a separate line once texted, process is an admittedly a bit clunky but I also surprisingly found it be very efficient. We went in on a Friday mid-morning and the wait for 2 was only about 15-20 minutes. I was blown away by how nice it was on the inside, it's a lot bigger and more modern than you would expect from seeing it on the outside. I'd say there are about roughly 25-35 tables combined inside and outside, so don't be discouraged if the line looks long. I promise it's not the hole in the wall it seems on the outside - it's really roomy on the inside! The food also comes out SUPER quick and the wait staff is super attentive and friendly. The only thing that I didn't quite understand was their pricing on their brewmosa. It's listed as $10 and it includes a PBR and only a splash of OJ but if purchased separately full cup of OJ and a can of PBR they're listed at $4 a piece. So I was a little bit confused and asked the waiter who was equality admittedly puzzled. I ended up buying the separate items and making my own brewmosa. I will say it was quite delicious! Their OJ is freshly squeezed which is a big big plus! Anyways I would highly recommend this place and we hope to be back soon if we find ourselves back in the area!

The owner N'Gina gave a beautiful speech and the restaurant started clearing out of regular diners. I stayed to give my thanks and was blown away by the community and love that came through. They were still serving drinks and you could see how much love there was for N'Gina and this amazing business. So many people came through just to say thank you and wish her luck on her future endeavours. I found a spot at the bar and hung out for a couple hours talking to other chefs, business owners, and customers and everyone was not ready to say goodbye to this amazing establishment and the incredible food N'Gina brought to the restaurant. Their team ended up giving me a bowl of their staff dinner- fries, mac and cheese and pulled pork and I was so thankful for one last taste of this amazing restaurant before they closed for good.

I hadn't been since last summer and was happy to return. Parking can be a bit hectic, but once you're inside, the atmosphere makes up for it. It's a family-owned spot, and you can feel it right away -- everyone is kind, welcoming, and takes the time to check in on you. We came for breakfast, but they also offer lunch and barbecue options, so there's plenty to choose from depending on when you go. They've also expanded and now have a location in Elk Grove. I ordered the French toast plate, which came with thick-cut slices of bread, eggs, and bacon. The French toast was soft on the inside with a nice golden finish, full of flavor without being overly sweet. The eggs were well seasoned, and the bacon was cooked just right. BB ordered the cheeseburger with fries and a side of grits. The burger was juicy with grilled onions and melted cheese, and the fries had that crispy, beer-battered texture. Everything came out hot and satisfying. Overall, a great spot for comfort food with genuinely friendly service. Definitely planning to come back -- especially for the biscuits and gravy next time.

Right away, Mama Goose (the waitress confessed this as her nickname) greeted me with a no nonsense and friendly attitude. This is a person you would hope to greet you, and at the same time you would never want to cross. The interior was very throwback to a time when this diner likely first experienced its hay-day several decades ago. Everything was clean, and the bathroom was so big, it was the size of my first apartment in San Francisco. Water refills were fast, and I ordered an omelette with no meat. It was very tasty, but the potatoes really stole the show with its perfectly crisp and seasoned portions. The prices are very fair/affordable. I felt welcomed here, just like I was visiting a friend in their home. It is clear that regular patrons keep coming back, and all are remembered by the staff. I highly recommend this experience!

So...a lot of regulars. I pigged out...ordered the chili cheese omelette with a pancake on the side. The omelette was good...not the best I've had, but would not mind returning for it. The breakfast potatoes were near perfect....hot, crispy on the outside and soft on the middle. Just cut down on the seasoning, as the delicious potatoes were a tad salty. The pancake had a nice flavor too them, so kudos on the restaurant's batter. I'm not typically in this area, especially in the morning, but on those rare instances I may be, I'd definitely return
