Then bring me a glass of OJ n it had something on the top of the glass . I told her I didn't want it n can I have water please . Then she brought our food ... I've been to many Denny's in my life and they're all pretty good!! this was my first time coming to this specific Dennys. When I arrived it was at 10:20 ish on a Tuesday night. We got sat and it was surprisingly freezing! My boyfriend and I both ordered the same thing. The Siracha bacon burger with jalapeños! It looked delicious online and sounds delicious too. They put the Order in and it took about 15 min for our food to arrive. The second we got our food mine looked good!! But I had noticed that the meat is extremely small! The patty is smaller than the bun. So when you first start biting in it there's no meat. I didn't really like that at all. My poor boyfriend though.. his was just sad. His bacon was completely burnt BLACK!! He didn't even notice it and was about to bite into it and eat it and I said "no! You're going to get cancer eating that babe!!" So rightfully so he took the bacon out and we asked for a replacement. Sadly, he was already finished with his whole plate when the bacon was here. So he was pretty unhappy. He said that it doesn't taste the same without bacon. We then decided to order dessert! You can't go wrong with that right? I know that dennys milkshakes are one of the best. Or so I thought.. not this place though. We ordered a birthday cake milkshake and I asked for it to be extra thick. And it came kind of watery... and it usually supposed to come with the tin can with the extra and there was none.. I had to ask our crap server where our rest of the milkshake was.. she said oh it's coming out. WHY IS IT SERVED SEPARATELY THOUGH?! 5 min later she brought out the smalles amount of serving in the tin can. What's going on dennys?! Has your portions gotten extremely smaller now?! Not happy!! To top it off... Apparently a group of guys had dined and ditch on the bill and the manager lady was freaking out. Yelling from one side of the restaurant to the other. Jesus lady! Calm yourself down! Even if that really did happen I don't think it's very professional like to be yelling it to the waiters across the restaurant. Crazy place. Horrible food. Terrible staff. I think this was the best experience I had at a Denny's so far! It was a bit busy when we went, but the one who took down are names at the counter was patient and doing her best with the swarm of customers, especially with this lady that was so offended by what was told to her when she was proclaiming it was her birthday. We were seated in a matter of minutes and were waited on quickly. We put in our orders and waited for our food. I got a burger for breakfast lolz It was their new Bacon Gouda burger and I asked for cheese tots as well. I really wished that there was more tots since they only gave me 6, but I grabbed some fries from my friend's plate. The burger was really good and just about right with all the flavors combined. I personally liked how everything was seasoned properly and fresh my only issue was that' they messed up my order slightly so they had to go remake it and it made me lose my appetite to eat the rest of my food inside. The menus were sticky they were out of hand sanitizer and the honey packages they brought me were sticky like it had been possibly sitting underneath syrup. Overall my dine in experience was nice besides those few little hiccups and Stephanie was pretty fast take it she was serving alone not sure if that was because she was new and going through training but either way thanks. Today's service restored my faith in Denny's - and possibly raised the bar for what I expect moving forward. There were two staff at the booth when I entered. The way they transitioned from leisure conversation to being warmly attentive was not lost on me. It felt very natural, like going to an old friend's house. The entire atmosphere was quite calm, and I attribute that to the synergetic vibe of the working staff. The lead hostess confirmed my party size (1) and told me, in the most homey way, "she's gonna take good care of you." I was shown to my table and asked what I wanted to drink? I told her I was already ready to order. My order was taken, and in the meantime I took to reading in my wait time. While I was waiting, my server attended to another customer sitting across from me. He was an older gentleman, and when she brought his check she said "here you go, my love". I'll be honest - her personality and hospitality caught me attention. Beyond that, based on other interactions between her and other staff, it seemed like the warm customer service was simply an extension of this particular restaurant's work culture. I received my food (pancakes and eggs with bacon scrambled in). I ate it. It was good. To my foodies, sorry that I'm not spending more time on that part. It's definitely wasn't gourmet; it was good. But the service was better. I know, I know - it's a lot of compliments for a chain that is typically described as basic. However, for me at least, dining out is about the whole experience and meeting customer expectations. In this case, I expected decent food and service. It's Denny's if you want food Made by Probable double felon working with a methadone addiction delivered to your table by a guy that doesn't want to be there but has burned all of his bridges this is your place. They were so sweet and still catered to everyone the same. My husband and I are a little complicated (vegans) we ordered a veggie skillet with no egg or cheese and added the beyond meat.
