My husband and I dined here for the first time this morning for breakfast and was quickly greeted, seated and served by the best server we have ever had anywhere. His name was Javier M according to our ticket and he was such an energetic and hard worker that seemed to multitask flawlessly with such a great attitude. Everything was clean, the food was delicious and our entire experience was very welcoming. Highly recommend and we plan on making this Dennys a regular stop for us. I'm not sure of Javier's title or how long he has worked there, but he deserves a huge acknowledgment and recognition for being such a positive, welcoming, energetic, hard worker. read more

Ordered delivery. I never got my order. I did get what I assumed was my shakes but they were pure liquid and were not cold. For a restaurant that is less then 5 mins driving, my order should have been hot if not at the least warm. But it was completely cold. The bacon was half cooked and the order was completely wrong. man the moment I walked in ! I saw Tay taking care of her customers as wounder woman ! as well taking care of us so quickly and best customer service while sitting us at our table . Came here for dinner on 06/30/2020. Only 4 tables being used including us. The fourth table that came in got service, drinks and food before us. We finally got our appetizer and it was barely warm mozzarella sticks. I ordered the T-bone steak and eggs, and something just looks off about it. Also, the waiter zack passed a sizzling skillet over my 5 year olds head. Seriously, who does that?! I usually like dennys, but this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. read more

When you come to Denny's you know you're not getting anything fancy. They were very busy but they kept it clean and service was good. Our server, Tina, was fantastic and had a wonderful attitude. I asked for my hash browns extra crispy and when she noticed they weren't as ordered she fixed it before bringing it to the table which I appreciated because I probably would have been a bit sad about it but still ate them as is without complaint. However, a couple minutes later I had my extra crispy hash browns as requested so I was happy! The food all came out in a timely manner. She left a nice note on the receipt which I love when servers add that small personal touch to their customer service. Everyone we interacted with was very nice and we would go back again if we were wanting a quick breakfast. read more

This was a spur of the moment decision to dine here. I decided to do a take out so I could get comfortable before eating. To start when I walked through the door I was greeted with a big smile and welcoming energy. I was undecided on what I wanted and was given time to look it over. In reaching a split decision the young lady assisting me gave me positive information on both of my choices this really helped me to decide. I chose a new dish that consists of potatoes chicken peppers onions sausage mushrooms it was delicious. I will return soon. read more

We popped in tonight to get a burger and shake fix. The exterior and interior of the restaurant is very appealing and almost takes you back to the old days where Frankie Valli was blaring on the jukebox. We walked in and wanted to sit in the traditional bar area but were told that it was closed off. The dining area wasn't the cleanest, tables weren't bussed. To my sadness, they were playing a lame soft rock radio station and not the cool oldies but goodies, I like to JAM while eating! Our waitress was alright, no special smiley treatment just took our order and brought our food. The food is definitely something to brag about, their burgers our sooooo good! We ended up splitting a double cheeseburger and sharing a monstrously good strawberry milkshake. They make their burgers well seasoned and extra juicy, the fries are great too! The shake is great but not Blue Bell good. Great food but service could use some adjustments! read more

***During COVID-19 Visit*** ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! My friend and I came here two days ago in the morning and the waitress who helped us out was rude. She was a heavyset female who appeared to be in her mid to late 50's. I asked if I could order cranberry juice and she rudely said "I don't have cranberry juice." As I was going to the bathroom, I said hello while she was walking towards me and no reply. My friend and I sat for 20 minutes as we were ready to order and saw her deliver drinks to another couple who came there after us. That was it and we walked out without hesitation. I understand that we're all in difficult times right now, but it's not a reason to NOT display proper customer service. It doesn't matter if you're having a bad day because you are in an industry in which you're helping customers and they want to support you. We will not be returning. read more

I am typically a dedicated iHop customer, mainly because the Dennys by Blanco Road seemed to have a limited menu and not the best service. I now live on the northeast side and the iHop service at fm78 is absolutely unbearable and the wait staff never knows about their own promotions. Today after my daughter's little league ceremony I really wanted an iHop style breakfast...but hate the fm78 location. Hesitant, my husband and I decided to try this Denny's location. I am so glad we made this decision! They greeted us excitedly and our waiter, Javier was amazing. I've never seen a waiter move the way he does. He was swift and polite and handled a whole room on his own. My kids didn't get thier food last, which is a big turn off for me and I will deduct tip for that alone. But their food was first and at the same time as ours. The food was delicious! My daughters cleaned their plates and were as satisfied as we were. I hardly ever give 5 stars but this visit earned it. I'm sorry not all reviewers experienced what I did. Maybe y'all should call ahead and see when Javier is working :-) read more

Went to Denny's last night for a late night/early morning breakfast to kick off my bestie's bday. Sandy is an awesome server! She was full of jokes & kept us laughing & entertained for hours! LOL I ordered fish tacos. My bestie's free birthday meal consisted of eggs, turkey bacon, hashbrowns, & grits. Chef Albert was in the back throwing down in the kitchen, so all of the food was cooked to perfection. Although Denny's is an average chain with mediocre food, Sandy helped to make our dining experience exquisite! I came here because the IHOP location was way overcrowded and when I asked about how lucky bf of a wait, I got a rude look and no respect as a potential customer. So, I started to drive down the road and found this place! I came in, was greeted with a smile and was sat down immediately! My waitress was very friendly and kept my coffee cup full!! My friend loves to come to Denny's but I've been here like 4x with her and EVERY-TIME our food takes forever to our table.. Idk maybe it's our luck and maybe Im hoping that when I do go it'll be faster . But my hopes n dreams were shattered . We have a hr lunch took us 5 mins to get there so when we got our food we had less than 20 mins to eat . Went a while back late at night, 10:30 pm. Not too many customers at that time, but they got busy, about 8 more customers came in( I guess we brought them in? Lol) it flustered our waitress who just happened to be the shift mngr. My wife ordered coffee, and tea 4 me. We then ordered the meals, (now although there was 2 other waitresses on duty, our mngr / waitress was trying to do everything, she was shaken, 1st we had to flag her down for refills, (food took a while, to go orders got put first) (had to get 2 refills by the way) when we finally got our food, we needed another refill (I know I was thirsty) when she came she spilled the coffee on my wife's leg, hand and the table and her food! Apologies golor but that was it, no comp no discount. Only until I wrote Corp. git a phone call offered gift cards, still haven't rec'd it. We the customers suffer bad customer service, all the while they still get customers. read more

My husband and I came here last weekend and we had a terrific experience. Francis was our server and she was very friendly and tentative. I meant to write a review about that last visit but I didn't get around to it so I was going to take pictures of the food and write about this experience. Well, this review is solely based on the experience that we just had about an hour ago. Had it been about our experience last week, it would have been at least 4 stars. Totally NOT the case this time! As we walked inside, we were immediately greeted by Francis at the hostess stand. She welcomed us with a smile and was suddenly interrupted by another extremely rude employee, possibly a supervisor or manager. That rude employee was very ugly to Francis, she caused a scene in front of EVERYONE! She yelled at Francis to get her ASS away from the door! She wasn't even at the door, she was at the hostess stand! Francis did as she was told and walked away leaving us standing there waiting. Nobody came to put us on the wait list. We ended up leaving because we were disgusting with the way Francis was treated and the fact that we were being ignored. Another couple followed our lead. All of the customers that were waiting to be seated appeared to be bothered by the rudeness as well. I was completely appalled by the behavior that I witnessed, that employee needs better training! The disciplining of an employee, whether warranted or not, should NEVER take place in front of customers. How unprofessional! read more

Javier is by far the best waiter that I've ever had the pleasure of being served by. His enthusiasm makes the experience all the worth wild. Other than the cooks sending the food out hot and delicious Javier is one of the main reasons I continue to come back. My mom and I went to have lunch yesterday the waitress was great the place was clean. We placed our order and when it came out the eggs were dark and the sausage was a sickly grey color. I took of bite of my eggs and the taste was horrible I mean instant gag reflex . I tried the sausage which besides the color tasted ok. I get back home about home which is about 5 minutes away and I'm instantly sick . I'm getting stomach cramps, sweating , throwing up surprise I got food poisioning.
