Went to Dennys at 420 E Deer Springs Way #9337 on 3/5/23 for breakfast. Busy but, tables open. Sat us, a party of 3, on the back side of the restaurant which had 2 tables and was next to the rest rooms. We could see the end of the prep line. We sat for a while, and no one came to greet us. The hostess was next to us so we asked about a server. She came and took our drink order an said someone would be with us soon. We waited another 5 minutes, and a busboy brought us our drinks. It was another few minutes before a server came and took our order. A busboy brought the order which was not correct, and we sent back one item. When it returned it was cold as were the hash browns and sausages on 2 of the orders. I think the worst part was when I went to pay an Asian lady with a managers name tag asked how my visit was. Yes that's right... I'm rating a Denny's with 5 stars. I was shocked myself trust me! I've never gone to a Denny's and had a great experience. It was always that convenience place that was always open. However, I decided to stop in with my little one and daaaaaaaaaang. This Denny's is legit. I ordered the slow cooked pot roast and could have sworn I was in a restaurant. Not only was the presentation fantastic but it tasted AMAZING. My daughters pizza kids meal was also tasty and not bland at all. On top of that, her side of grapes were actually fresh! Again, I've always had so/so experiences where food was just okay but seriously, this location is a definite upgrade for sure colored to the other ones. Also, our server-- pretty sure he said his name was Angelo was great. The nicest and most attentive server ever. He should really train the staff at all the Denny's we've been to. I've been in love with this Denny's since I was an obnoxious teen who would hang out there until 3 AM with my friends and only order $5.00 worth of food. The staff is very friendly on all shifts, it is always clean, and the line moves quickly when it's busy. It's a great place to bring my kids because they have something for everybody, even picky eaters. 5 star for service (thanks Mr. FLEMING!), only removed 1 star for the poor planning of the leadership of this restaurant. Got here a little after 4:30 am with my 7 year old. Occasionally we have breakfast when she can't sleep. Somehow the kitchen was closed since their stove was being serviced. We were told, given complimentary drinks and told a time when they would be fully able to make breakfast. We decided to stay since this was really about time together. I watched Mr. Fleming look all through the kitchen for something ready to feed my daughter. He didn't have to do that. I also saw him freely stay past his shift to help deal with cranky rude customers. It wasn't his fault, he shouldn't have been treated badly but he kept a patient smile on his face and truly cared. Sometimes stuff needs to be serviced. It says a lot about how you handle it and how you treat people. Mr. Fleming's customer service and that of Mr. Pablo and Mr. Luis what is going to keep me coming back. They deserve 5 stars. read more

Breakfast tastes so good at 2:00am. Being open 24 hours, Denny's is a good spot for those late night munchies. Moons over my hammy all the way. Sometimes I ask for bacon on the side and put it in my sandwich also. My boyfriend's go-to item is the Country Fried Steak. Every time we go, he would tell me he's getting something different and at the last moment in front of our server, changes his mind and gets the same thing. This location in Mira Mesa is right off the 15 and has a large sign you can't miss. This place is good for groups. Of course that have the traditional claw game, where they tease you with awesome prizes that are impossible to win. Go here for quick diner ish food. Also they have good prices. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express next store and the kids wanted to come here because it was Tuesday, FREE KIDS MEALS!! So of course Mom is excited to get a free kids meal. Well my kids are special so I didn't get off easy after they ordered oreo shakes, appetizers and dessert on top of their "free meal". But back to the reason for my review, the excellent service from the manager and waitress. The manager kept coming by and making jokes with the kids and the waitress was super sweet. Even sitting with an elder couple just chatting with them, it was really nice to see and made my day. It's always nice to see people taking the time to share with the elderly. Denny's Restaurant 3509 S 84th St Omaha, Ne, 68124 Very disappointed in the customer service from this Denny's and the lack of responsibility towards the customer. Also, in the frailty of their system and lack of responsiveness from Corporate and help from this local store. We ordered 2 breakfasts for pickup through the website for a total of $35 on July 12th. The system gave us a 2 hour wait time and a time to pick up. When I arrived at the designated time April, the General Manager, said they had completed all of their pickups and had none left. She did not check the system, the register, nowhere and told me to use the email to request a refund. There was not even an offer asking if I would like them to prepare it and wait. I did confirm with her that the address in the confirmation email was the correct address. On the confirmation email it listed a number for order issues. After my wife called it we found out it was the actual Store number and we were again talking with April. So now, instead of her directing us to using the email to report the issue she said to go the Denny's website and fill out a refund request except there is no refund request to be found. We could only send a "contact us" message on the main site. Very disappointing. There has not been any response from them on their "contact us". No apology and no offer to help from April was provided even after asking. After contacting Denny's via FB Messenger a refund team member was supposed to call but they have not. There has not been any response to our online inquiry either as of this writing. read more

It's been a long time since we last visited a Denny's. We came in looking for fish but only found fried fish and chips so we left with an apology. When we were backing out the car the server came out with a menu and waved at us. He pointed out that there is a grilled fish fillet on the menu which was what my wife wanted exactly but somehow we missed seeing it. So we parked the car again and went back in for the dinner. Fish fillet was great. I ordered a sirloin steak which is the seasonal special. The waiter Javier was good and deserved 20% tips. This location is always busy and the dining room seems small for all the action they get. There is no bar counter for lone diners to sit at. I have been here before on a busy Saturday after a rush. We waited a long time and the food I got was warm enough, while my 3 year old daughter's food off the children's menu was delivered piping hot - a big foul. So after waiting 30 minutes with a 3 year old were presented with food that was too hot for her to eat! That was last summer. I returned today for a weekday brunch. I was assigned a booth and given a menu and the wait began. 3 more parties were seated... nobody came to give me water or coffee - I couldn't even get eye contact from anybody there. I came here with five others on a Saturday night/morning, about 3 a.m., and the restaurant was relatively empty save for a few other parties. We were seated immediately by a friendly host who said our waiter would be by shortly. Half an hour later no waiter had come. No one had even brought us water or even acknowledged our presence. The only person to even come near our table was a man bussing an adjacent table, and sweeping all around us, but never even asking if we'd been helped yet. Were they too busy to help us? NO. There were 3 guys just chatting it up by the cash register, not paying us any attention. So, disgruntled and hungry, we left (without any apologies or even acknowledgement from the staff.) Why didn't we flag anyone down to help us? Well I have this silly idea that you shouldn't have to ASK for service, especially in an empty restaurant. We were so hungry that we forgot to complain. Cheap eats, reliable food. Denny's is the McDonalds of the diner world. I came here for breakfast one morning and to my surprise Denny's has changed their breakfast menu. There are all sorts of options from baked goods, sugary confections, to protein packed platters. I opted to build my own slam. For just a few bucks, I got my choice of a whole array of breakfast foods. Pancakes? Ham? Eggs? So many choices, I narrowed it down to buckwheat pancakes, egg whites, fruit, and of course, my number one breakfast star - Bacon. Went there today for brunch... mistake, the first... ordered $2 biscuit and gravy... mistake number 2... Looked at the rim of the water glass the server gave me... wanted to wretch. The glass had lipstick prints and what appeared to be dried food flakes. But, the real kick to the nuts came when I told the scrawny kid at the counter and he told me: "It is just a dirty glass. You can't expect everything we put out to be clean." For his safety and privacy, I will just say his first initial was "A" and it rhymed with "Tangelo." I'd like to thank "A" for informing me that the quality concerns at this Denny's allows for a regular number of customers to be served on dirty plates, silverware or glassware. I like Denny's because I always know what to expect when I go there: average food. I ordered their french toast breakfast that came with eggs, sausages, bacon, and hash-browns. The hash browns and sausages tasted like it came from the freezer (I know most restaurants freeze both items but not all restaurants serve them actually TASTING like it was frozen). The eggs were cooked to my satisfaction and the French Toast tasted as ordinary as a teenage boy with braces and pimples. Overall, I would come back if I were either feeling non-adventurous that day or if I were too lazy to cook. On the plus side, I saw a high school friend there that I haven't seen in 8 years, and being 150 miles away from my home town, that was pretty random! read more
