Any review of Denny's should mostly be on service since the food is pretty average at any of them. This location is a good size, but the service can be hit or miss. It was a slightly busy day, and the food took over 20 minutes to arrive. Thankfully the food tasted better than usual. I came here for an early dinner. I was hungry and pretty much anything on their menu seemed good. As we entered, I told the guy that we will sit at a booth to the right of the entrance. He was fine with that. They weren't too busy. It's 4th of July. The guy said he would come back for our order and drink order. When our waiter came back, we were ready to order. I got a Diet Coke to drink and a prime rib salad with ranch dressing. I wanted something not too filling. The prime rib salad was perfect but I was still a little hungry. I ended up munching on my daughter's grapes because she was full and couldn't finish it. My prime rib salad had cherry tomatoes, cheese, a boiled egg cut up, avocados sliced up, and bacon in pieces. Yum! I drizzled a little of the ranch on top. I didn't want to drench it too much. It was so delicious! Prime rib was so tender cut up in pieces. I even had a second glass of Diet Coke. I must have been dehydrated and just hungry! Service was good by our waiter. He checked up on us a couple of times. I enjoyed my dining experience here. Denny's is a classic staple for me I grew up eating here. Yes it is a chain restaurant but every time I come here I feel at home. The staff is always on point and super helpful whenever my drinks get low they are there. I have always stayed true to the Grand Slam Slugger meal. My wife enjoyed her Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. What bothered me was...we've been supporting restaurants since this closure. Every other day, we go to a different one. Well, this is the 3rd time we've been to this Denny's, and the last few times we had problems, and we did this time. First, we wanted to use the coupon we got that said one entree free, with the purchase of another and two drinks. My wife got a coffee, and I got a chocolate shake. Well, they didn't consider that a "drink." Okay, whatever. So I ordered a Coke. Second, when my wife called in the order, she said my club sandwich was going to be on rye. She said he even repeated it back to her (I only eat sandwiches on rye; I don't like other kinds of bread). Well, it ended up being on some kind of multi-grain bread, which I don't care for. Third, when I went in there, there were 6 teenage boys (it sounded like they were from Jamaca, with the accents I heard). They were all sitting inside, by the front door, and wouldn't stop cursing. I don't mind the non-stop language they were using (as families weren't in there eating or anything), but not a single one of them was wearing a mask. I'm standing there waiting to pay for my order, with a mask on. The guy at the register helping me, had a mask on. A huge sign right in front of me, telling everyone to stay apart and wear masks. Sooooo....why did nobody working here tell them to wear a mask, or better yet, leave. What were they doing there? Anyway, we'll give this location another chance. And we'll be more forgiving because of the circumstances in which restaurants are even trying to operate these days. read more

My friends and I sometimes come here during finals weeks with the intention of studying all night because it is 24 hours. However, we almost never get any work done because after we eat, we use up all our energies fighting off food comas. To quote The Office: "Zero productivity. All in a day's work." We usually arrive after 10pm, so there is no waiting for a table because it is empty. I always order a grand slam because I get so much food for only $5.99! OH MAI GOT I LOVE SO CHEAP! I've had breakfast here a few times after graveyard shifts at work and have come here a few times to study. This Denny's is not a bad place to study in the middle of the night! During the night, it's pretty quiet and the waitresses are really chill and friendly. They have free wi-fi so you can connect your laptops/phones and Yelp/Facebook...I mean study like a good student..... The only thing about studying here is that they do not have power outlets and you're out of luck if your laptop runs out of batteries. When I study here, I usually order one of those re-fillable drinks (like the Rasberry Pucker Lemonade.. I think that's what you call it) and refill it through the night as I study. Ah, Denny's. THE place for drunk nomming. It's always filled with college students, but it's never busy, so you're always seated promptly. Their menu is always changing, and for that, I'm grateful. They have such a huge selection of food that everyone can always find at least one thing that they want to eat. They also have a special menu that's really cheap - $4 for neverending pancakes! I've tried so many times, but I can never eat more than 4... but it might be because I'm eating so many other different entrees at the same time. The peanut butter chocolate chip pancakes were too sweet, but it was better after I scooped all the peanut butter creme off. We come here once very few weeks. The family likes this place. The food is decent for a Denny's. The servers are nice and the dining area is big and welcoming. But, if you don't eat meat this isn't the best place to go. For example, you can get their burgers with a bean pattie which isn't that great. BUT, all the burgers come with bacon. So, basically I'm paying extra for something I have to ask them to omit. Their salad choices are also limited to items with some sort of meat. Their breakfast options all have meat. Came here last night since it was by the office. Was fine at first. Food took a little long but it was fine. I guess they were short staffed or something because the manager was helping and had our table. Checked on us once after we got our food and never came back. No one asked if we needed anything didnt bother to ask if we wanted refills since our cups were empty.
