3apps for $15 - mini sliders, tots and egg rolls
    Jessica S.

They have quite the long period for happy hour (4-8pm), plus they have a remarkable sounding deal where you can get 3 apps for $15. As a hotel bar, I guess I should have known because it really ended up being quite unremarkable, at least as it pertains to the quality of the food. Server was cheery enough, bringing us our drinks and food to our table from his spot behind the bar (he was the only one working). Our three apps included mini sliders (with fries), eggrolls, and loaded tots. The menu clearly stated that it comes with three eggrolls (for the three of us!), but we only received two and were informed that they had made a recent change not reflected in the menu yet. Very standard tasting egg rolls which came with a side of sweet chili sauce. Sliders were unremarkable and small. A little bland and freezer burnt. Side of fries were daintily seasoned. The loaded tots were probably the best in terms of quality and taste. Very cheesy and with a dollop of sour cream. Not the most sought after area for happy hour, so if you want a quiet place for sips, this hotel bar is just the spot.

My friend and I made a final brewery stop at Duck Foot Brewing before heading home. If you knew anything about me, you knew my love for beer had no boundaries and wherever I may be I was always searching for any possible breweries to sneak into and try. Would I quack with glee after I set foot in this brewery or duck out the back never to return!? QUICK BIO Founded in 2015 by Matt Delvecchio and Brett Goldstock, their beers were gluten-reduced due to Matt's celiac disease; frankly, he wanted to be able to drink beer and found a way to do it without harming himself! "Duck Foot" was a snowboarding term if you rode with your toes angled away from each other, then you could switch to your right or left foot while going down the slopes. It was a deft way of maneuvering, but also made you look kinda silly - which summed up the staff pretty well. All of this zaniness contributed to the funny beer names and quirky packaging artwork. PURCHASE(S) Duck Foot Brewing Co. Wee Bam! Scottish Ale Beer 5.1% ABV 16floz Draft (8.00 x2): Copper red color, caramel dank malty aroma, light body, caramel grainy malty flavor, smooth finish, and caramel earthy grainy malty aftertaste. As we approached, she gave us a quick rundown of their beers and allowed us time to make our decision. Soon enough, we placed our orders at the bar, our drinks were ready in seconds, and we were off to grab a table. Everything was easy-peasy - cheers! PARKING (FREE): Located within an industrial work park, there were plenty of spots everywhere - 'nuff said! ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A spacious layout https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=0&select=57KdYg48K-IMOHEH0rg9IQ with the bar/order counter directly in front of you when you entered, a highly-visible tap menu https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=0&select=issos1QjwbLqHYCYJAl2pA on the wall behind the bar, many communal benches and tall tables inside and on the front patio, brewing tanks in the background, games https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=0&select=D78FJjUsG_FjQX_bUZvHGw in a corner, and on this particular night there was a well-attended astronomy presentation https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=0&select=xaEnKPrdF3diRb_uOqYBAg which was a first for me. Plenty of natural lighting entered through the large front windows and doors while an assortment of electric ceiling lights filled in the rest. There were several TVs throughout while I couldn't recall any background music. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=rOS9_YXUfQmMuzGaZqEnYw ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL We had a chilling time at Duck Foot Brewing and would plan another visit to try more of the over 15 beers on tap as well as wine and slushies. The two beers I had were very tasty and easygoing, the prices were comparable, and the service was straightforward. Furry family members were allowed! They also had happy hour specials and nightly entertainment such as trivia, music, and more. Ample free parking was always a major plus. I found complete value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $60.00 BEFORE any discounts, points usage, and/or tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... AMEX! 5.0 STARS

There was a rocket pop flavored beer slushee that I sampled but it was too bitter so I opted for real beer instead. The Bees one and an amber option on tap that day were not what I expected. One even tasted like an IPA, but was not labeled as such. Props to Duck Foot for hosting local bands and community events - will give the beer another shot next time I attend an event here.

A group of friends and I ventured in, one Saturday night in June for a few drinks and some good clean fun. We were all shocked to find the parking lot packed! We all kind of agreed that it had been at least four years since any of us had been to the venue. Brewski's got a makeover! More games. Refillable "token" cards. Loads of tables and chairs and a large patio. The bar was redone as well and took up the main long wall of the bar. It is now a cool arcade bar. The bartenders were quick and efficient. They made really good cocktails and even suggested a few. Loved the token cards. They were easy to fill and even worked on the jukebox so that's where all of my money went. I love jukeboxes!!! There were several large parties in the bar when we arrived but it was still easy to get around and find something to play. We had a great time and already made plans to go back for another group outing. Brewski's, you've outdone yourself!

The bread serving was a perfect ratio to the burrata and tomatoes. The calamari was Jack's favorite. The fry was perfect and the 2 sauces provided were great pairs. Overall, very fresh. No notes here. Would definitely order again. Lastly, the shrimp came in a respectable portion. Slightly tough on the cook, but there was a rich flavor in the sauce. For the entree, we tried the rigatoni bolognese. Lovely flavor overall however, the sauce was slightly thin making it hard to pick up. Pasta itself was a perfect al dente. Drinks were good but we'd really like to highlight Amelia's Carajillo. She introduced the drink to us and we are definitely a fan. Tony, the manager, was incredibly personable. He approached our table many times with great conversation and energy. He truly cares about the experience of his guests. When we asked what his favorite dessert was, he recommended the flourless chocolate cake. It's very rich and dense so he said it would be best enjoyed with a bit of vanilla gelato in every scoop. He was right and we savored every bite. Ultimately, Almalfi Llama is a wonderful place for a late date night dinner. The ambiance is sophisticated and energetic. The live music from Erin Ross and the kind staff really added to the experience. We will be returning!
