Our 3rd visit so far and Burger Joint in Miramar and it's easily a 5 stars. The smash burger is amazing perfectly crispy edges, super juicy, and packed with flavor. The buns are super soft and fresh, which makes the whole burger come together perfectly. You can tell they put real care into the quality. Very spacious enough room to bring our baby with stroller every time. Everything came out hot and fresh, and the vibe was solid too. I called ahead to ask about happy hour and was told they had specials on wings and beer. Unfortunately, nobody really explained what the actual happy hour specials were, which would have been helpful before making the drive. I was told the beer specials included Pacifico, Modelo, and Fall Brewing. Since Fall Brewing was the one I was interested in, I drove about 15 minutes hoping to have a few beers, watch the Colombia vs. Jordan soccer game, and try one of their burgers. When I arrived, I was told they were out of Fall Brewing. The employee didn't seem very familiar with the beer selection or what was currently available. That was disappointing, especially after being told on the phone that they had it. A simple heads-up would have saved me the trip. It also would have been nice if they had offered a comparable beer at the happy hour price since the advertised option wasn't available. The restaurant itself is clean and well-kept, but there wasn't much atmosphere during my visit. I was the only customer dining in, and the place felt pretty lifeless. I ordered the: Joint Burger (single): came out to just under $10. I have to give credit where it's due - the burger was actually delicious. The smash patty was cooked perfectly, the bun had a nice crisp to it, and whatever sauce they put on it was excellent. They clearly know how to make a good burger. There are several TVs throughout the restaurant, but they were showing an old UFC fight and poker tournaments. Considering the Colombia vs. Jordan match was being played at the time, I was surprised none of the TVs were showing it. I asked about it, and one of the employees was kind enough to check, but it appeared they didn't have the channel. Overall, the burger was the highlight of the visit. However, the confusing happy hour, lack of the beer I was specifically told would be available, and the very low-energy atmosphere made for a disappointing experience. If you're looking for a good burger, this place delivers. If you're looking for a lively sports-bar atmosphere, a solid happy hour, or a place to watch a game, I'd probably look elsewhere. read more

Burger Joint & Brew is certainly a gem amidst the loooong road that is Miramar Rd. Definitely eye catching with a spacious, simple concept. I ordered: stars & stripes burger (1 patty), hashbrown rings (think hashbrowns shaped like onion rings), and an Oreo shake. The burger itself was flavorful and comes with their signature sauce which has a hint of citrus. The hashbrown rings are a fun concept--equally delicious and not oily at all. I would love to see this accompanied by a breakfast burger! The Oreo shake was delicious and not too creamy. Knocked off a star because I ordered pick-up through Uber Eats. Overall a good experience at the Burger Joint & Brew. We went for an early dinner on a Saturday and the place was not busy and plenty of open tables. Very nice decor inside and well maintained establishment. You seat yourself and order at the counter. They sell beer and also offer some halal options. Shout out to the woman working on Saturday afternoon she was very attentive and we observed constantly being proactive stocking the bottled sodas, cleaning the tables and vacuuming the floors, wiping the counters, etc. She wasn't just not just standing around behind the counter. We ordered: Joint burger, great sized burger for a smash patty. The buns were nicely toasted and their joint sauce was tasty. Cali burger- good amount of avocado and bacon, decent size for a double patty. Large order of 1/2 onion rings and fries- our favorite were the onion rings, nicely battered and perfectly crispy. The fries tasted fresh cut and were ok, however we would have liked them a bit more crispy. Chocolate shake- rich and creamy with real chocolate ice cream and topped with whipped cream and sprinkles. What would have made this a 5 star would have been if all the food would have been ready at the same time. There was a bit of a lag from when one burger was brought to our table and the second burger and fries/onion rings were brought. The burgers (available as single, double or triple) are 3-4 oz patties and are delicious. They use a brioche bun which kicks it up another notch. We got a small order of fries & onion ring mixture. The onion rings were crisp and perfectly fried (not at all oily). The fries are made out of fresh potatoes and they too are on point. The server was friendly and recommended the fries and rings mixture. We also met the owner, Dee who was very hospitable and told us about his commitment to fresh, high quality ingredients. I love that they open at 10:00am! Working a 6-2 blue collar job nearby = hungry af by the 5th hour. Ironically, I got the burger bowl because I'm watching my waist. Every time I come here, it's amazing. saw they had a new burger called the flaming attack and I just had to try it. Double patty, pepper jack, jalapeños, bacon, & hot Cheetos !! My favorite item there! My buddies got the joint burger and the Firebird, which is their chicken sandwich they both love them. We shared their tenders one of the best tenders I've ever had, ask for a side of their joint sauce to dip it in. We each got a beer and after we got shakes. I got the Oreo shake and it was amazing. We were greeted by two friendly ladies behind the counter and after looking over their simple but extensive menu, my son and I decided on our burger and sides. I went with their double patty with cheese and a side of onion rings and my son ordered their triple stack. Then we took seats while they cooked our burgers to order. As you can see by the pictures taken, they take their burgers serious. Toasted Brioche Bungs. Two large smash patties and melted cheese covering all that meat goodness. Yeah, it was good. The onion rings were also cooked to a nice and crispy, golden brown and had that perfect crunch. IYKYK what I mean. I ordered the Sunrise Burger (Double patties, American cheese, bacon, hash brown patty and an over easy egg on a toasted bun) let's say, if there is a burger with a Sunnyside up egg on the menu, you go for that burger, or you add that egg to your burger of preference. My colleague went with the Cali Burger (Double patties, melted Swiss cheese, bacon, jalapenos, onion rings and BBQ sauce on a toasted bun), he also add that egg! We also split Smash Joint Fries (Fries, melted cheese, grilled onions, beef patty and pepperoncini with joint sauce). My burger was well seasoned, which is normally the downfall of most Smashburger's that I have had, it was cooked to perfection with high quality ingredients, delicious. My colleague also really enjoyed his Cali Burger and was 100% happy with his choice to add that egg! The Smash Joint Fries were good, I think I would roll with different fries next time as these are not necessarily my go to type of fry. We also ate almost all of them, so hard to be negative lol. First time trying this Burger Joint! Came here around 8 pm, there was a group of people when we first arrived but there was plenty of seating both inside and outside. The place was CLEAN and their customer service is on point! Super friendly. They have daily happy hour from 8pm - close. My husband and I got the $4 beers from the special. We both tried the Joint Burger, I did the double and my husband did the triple. He ordered regular fries and I ordered the sweet potatoes. Honestly, everything was delicious!! Came out hot and fresh within maybe 10 minutes after we ordered, very quick. I got a specialty burger they had, it had flamin hot Cheetos, jalapeños, Mac and cheese, and generous patties on it. I had jalapeño poppers as my side and they were super good as well! My buddy got a sunrise burger and there fresh cut fries and he loved it. The owner and staff were all super polite and attentive while we were there. I paid $30 for a Cali burger and a Tres Leches milkshake. Both were tasty, but certainly not worth the cost. 15 for the burger and 10 for the shake. The pattys were pretty good, nice quality buns too. It's nice that all cooking and frying is done with avocado oil. The bacon was minimal, there were just a couple small slivers of avo in there, not much sauce and some parts were dry. Otherwise the meal was tasty and above average, but I won't return for that price. read more

You even responded better to other 2 star reviews back in January this year. With regards to my visit, it was on a holiday after what would have been a lunch rush time. There were still empty tables and 30 minute wait even with a "rush" could have been smoothed over with at least an apology; which I did not get on that day nor in your response. Even offering a few fries or a soda would have negated the bad experience. read more
