While trying order. she would cut us off and would just basically want to make our orders her way or just make it difficult to order. We tried to be polite and friendly to see if she would change her attitude but it didn't seem to work. I came here with my friends after we went to the Loft. I didn't think anything was good or bad. This Denny's location was a bit small but still good enough. I ordered the Ultimate Omelette ($9.69) and it came with a choice of bread: wheat, white, and sourdough (I forgot if there was another choice). It was alright but I like how they have Cholula Hot Sauce as well as Tabasco Hot Sauce. I've mentioned this in my other reviews but Cholula Hot Sauce is way better than Tabasco Hot Sauce in my opinion. The service here was also okay. Why do I come here? Seriously my experience at denny's is alway below average and yet I always return. It's like I've got short term memory loss or something. This time on below average services... I had ordered off or the special "hobbit" menu, a bilbo honey cake breakfast and a pumpkin coffee, while my girlfriend ordered a bacon avocado burrito with the bacon and eggs on the side and large orange juice. Just about everything was hard to swallow. The pumpkin coffee tasted stale and had a most unpleasant after taste. The orange juice was good, wish it came with refills. The bilbo honey cake includes 2 honey cakes, scrambled eggs with spinch and mushrooms, hash browns, and a large sausage. The sausage was much too salty and loaded with greasy fat pustuals. The hash browns were alright though on the under cooked side, could have used more browns. Eggs with spinch and mushrooms were the only thing that were enjoyable aside from the orange juice. Honey cakes reminded me of a heavy gritty sponge cake. The bacon avacado burrito was missing the avacado. The bacon itself tasted recooked, and the eggs were over cooked. Overall the staff was friendly enough, but the food was disgraceful. Hopefully I'll remember this review myself won't be back anytime soon. read more

I order my food and it was delivered timely. I received my 2nd iced tea moments later. Before I finished my food I received the bill of $16.69. I wasn't done nor asked if I was so I sit waiting for a whole hour only to be asked if I'd like more tea. I said yes and the server took my cup. When he returned I started to say "also" hinting I'd like a apple crisp pie and I'd like to eat more, when he walked away. I don't feel I should be rude to get attention but I continued to look in the direction of the kitchen and anyone willing to come see if I needed anything else. There are 6 people working and 3 patrons eating. In the time it took me to type this message on my phone, not a single worker passed me. My servers name is Jose, he could be the manager from the conversations towards him. Many guest were happy with him and joked with him by name. I definitely did not feel the same respect they did. When I eat I like to be treated as a guest of importance. I have left many tips for well over $1000 to some of the greatest customer care the world can find. That $1000 tip was for a $200 meal in Mexico. I think they were very appreciative of the generosity and so was I of theirs. As I still sit here with an empty cup of tea now for over 5 minutes I have been walked by and not spoken too. At this point walking out on the pathetic $16.69 has crossed my mind, but I am a man of honor and dignity. Other than the Grand Slam and the new Rockstar menu, there really isn't much to experience at Denny's... Except for maybe the Fruity Fusion drinks--a set of five different fruity and fizzy concoctions that are simply refreshing. There's the Strawberry Mango Pucker, the Razzdango, Fizzy Navel, Pineapple Dream, and the Berry Banana OJ Fizzle. I've only tried the SMP, Razzdango, and Pineapple Dream so far, but they're all tremendous. Minute Maid OJ and Sprite seems to be the most common addititves in each of these... but once I have them all, I'll be more impressed with Denny's. Other than the $4.99 Grand Slam dishes, everything else here is pretty pedestrian. You have your T-bone steaks, super burgers (Honestly, you can get a burger anywhere, so why the hell do people buy burgers at a SIT-IN restaurant?!), salads, random breakfast dishes, and the regular food you'd expect from an "All-American" diner. People often eat at Denny's because it's the only place that's open for midnight munchies, and that's a good enough reason. But if you have an alternative, it's best to take that alternative. I do prefer Denny's from Carrow's though. Either way, make sure you come with a crowd--but PAY SEPARATELY. The servers here are pretty stupid with making separate checks. Then again, I left my phone here and one of the employees was gracious enough to run out of the restaurant to give it to me just as my friends and I were about to speed off. That's pretty cool. Are they trying to make it look busy for cats on the street with a line out the door? If so, pretty disappointing for a family with two young kids. I have been here a couple times and usually after midnight. This location is open 24/7 which is convenient when you are craving food at very strange times of the day. The wait staff is usually very friendly though the service may not be the most expedient. The food itself is mediocre. It satisfies my cravings, usually for eggs, bacon, or other breakfast foods, and fills me up. The timing to be seat was good . It was between 7-10 minutes in a busy hour . The staff was all the time checking if we are missing something and refilling our water and coffee. The time for waiting for the food is around 7-15 mins . They have a good quality food and a mix menu for everybody .The only thing that I didn't like was the presentation of the food . Every time I come to Dennys, I come to this location only and request for her every time.
