Decided to go eat Denny's at 11pm, BIG mistake poor customer service we didn't get seated we didn't get a menu . We gladly got up from our seats and kindly asked for one. Our waiter was pretty kind. Although, we ordered 2 cokes and when brought to us it tasted so watery. Finally we got to order, steak with potatoes and veggies originally wanted mash potatoes but they unfortunately don't serve after 11 my boyfriend ordered the burger and 2 pancakes however when my steak was brought to me It was very tough to cut with ligaments clearly visible in the steak and it was undercooked and very red. The veggies were cold and my potatoes tasted frozen. It was unacceptable. We decided to leave so we went to the front and told the server, in which she responded to the servers in the back that they were aware that wasn't the only meal that has been sent back on that day. Why do I come here? Seriously my experience at denny's is alway below average and yet I always return. It's like I've got short term memory loss or something. This time on below average services... I had ordered off or the special "hobbit" menu, a bilbo honey cake breakfast and a pumpkin coffee, while my girlfriend ordered a bacon avocado burrito with the bacon and eggs on the side and large orange juice. Just about everything was hard to swallow. The pumpkin coffee tasted stale and had a most unpleasant after taste. The orange juice was good, wish it came with refills. The bilbo honey cake includes 2 honey cakes, scrambled eggs with spinch and mushrooms, hash browns, and a large sausage. The sausage was much too salty and loaded with greasy fat pustuals. The hash browns were alright though on the under cooked side, could have used more browns. Eggs with spinch and mushrooms were the only thing that were enjoyable aside from the orange juice. Honey cakes reminded me of a heavy gritty sponge cake. The bacon avacado burrito was missing the avacado. The bacon itself tasted recooked, and the eggs were over cooked. Overall the staff was friendly enough, but the food was disgraceful. Hopefully I'll remember this review myself won't be back anytime soon. read more

I tried coming here on 2 occasions. Both times the place was not crowded at all, and there were customers at tables enjoying their meals. I stood at the front of the restaurant waiting for a staff member to get seated, looking like an idiot for 30 minutes before I leave and go home. I tried to get their attention politely with "excuse me's" and a little waving, but I'm left completely ignored. I'd like to hear their excuse as to why their maximum occupancy is apparently just 5 people. read more

While trying order. she would cut us off and would just basically want to make our orders her way or just make it difficult to order. Look for the people who expect Denny's to be an all star restaurant no, you got it all wrong. People who go to Denny's go here for the experience I know you want like a great time and great food but nope this place is just to get your quick late meal for a decent price. Another late night dining experience after having rounds of alcohol at the club....came here with my cousins and friends. While the waiter seats my group of people, someone stops us. Guy: Hey! Other than the Grand Slam and the new Rockstar menu, there really isn't much to experience at Denny's... Except for maybe the Fruity Fusion drinks--a set of five different fruity and fizzy concoctions that are simply refreshing. There's the Strawberry Mango Pucker, the Razzdango, Fizzy Navel, Pineapple Dream, and the Berry Banana OJ Fizzle. I've only tried the SMP, Razzdango, and Pineapple Dream so far, but they're all tremendous. Minute Maid OJ and Sprite seems to be the most common addititves in each of these... but once I have them all, I'll be more impressed with Denny's. Other than the $4.99 Grand Slam dishes, everything else here is pretty pedestrian. You have your T-bone steaks, super burgers (Honestly, you can get a burger anywhere, so why the hell do people buy burgers at a SIT-IN restaurant?!), salads, random breakfast dishes, and the regular food you'd expect from an "All-American" diner. People often eat at Denny's because it's the only place that's open for midnight munchies, and that's a good enough reason. But if you have an alternative, it's best to take that alternative. I do prefer Denny's from Carrow's though. Either way, make sure you come with a crowd--but PAY SEPARATELY. The servers here are pretty stupid with making separate checks. Then again, I left my phone here and one of the employees was gracious enough to run out of the restaurant to give it to me just as my friends and I were about to speed off. That's pretty cool. Wildly underwhelms in terms of prompt service. Sunday morning arrived before 9am and had to wait over 20 min to be seated despite plenty of seating. Are they trying to make it look busy for cats on the street with a line out the door? If so, pretty disappointing for a family with two young kids. I have been here a couple times and usually after midnight. This location is open 24/7 which is convenient when you are craving food at very strange times of the day. The wait staff is usually very friendly though the service may not be the most expedient. The food itself is mediocre. It satisfies my cravings, usually for eggs, bacon, or other breakfast foods, and fills me up. It is fun when they have events or seasonal selections and they are always willing to help out if needed. read more

I order my food and it was delivered timely. I received my 2nd iced tea moments later. Before I finished my food I received the bill of $16.69. I wasn't done nor asked if I was so I sit waiting for a whole hour only to be asked if I'd like more tea. I said yes and the server took my cup. When he returned I started to say "also" hinting I'd like a apple crisp pie and I'd like to eat more, when he walked away. I don't feel I should be rude to get attention but I continued to look in the direction of the kitchen and anyone willing to come see if I needed anything else. There are 6 people working and 3 patrons eating. In the time it took me to type this message on my phone, not a single worker passed me. My servers name is Jose, he could be the manager from the conversations towards him. Many guest were happy with him and joked with him by name. I definitely did not feel the same respect they did. When I eat I like to be treated as a guest of importance. I have left many tips for well over $1000 to some of the greatest customer care the world can find. That $1000 tip was for a $200 meal in Mexico. I think they were very appreciative of the generosity and so was I of theirs. As I still sit here with an empty cup of tea now for over 5 minutes I have been walked by and not spoken too. At this point walking out on the pathetic $16.69 has crossed my mind, but I am a man of honor and dignity. I've lived in this area a looooong time... I have a lot of memories coming to this Denny's with my parents. Growing up I always felt like Denny's was awesome. I mean a place where I can get breakfast anytime! WOW! Unfortunately, as I grew older I came to see how greasy the food was.. the quality was.. alright... and the diner wasn't the cleanest. Soon as I was old enough to go out and party downtown.. Denny's again became the spot. The grease was a perfect after partying chaser haha Today was the first time I went there in a long time. Surprisingly, the breakfast I ordered was not as greasy as I remembered. Overall: Hasbrowns (crispy & a litle salty) - good Eggs (over medium) - good Sausages (weird dry texture) - not so good.. Bacon (crispy & thin) - good water (funny taste) - not good Service (the staff was actually very friendly) - good Recommendation??? This place is trash..walked in and hardly no one in there yet two servers and a bus person all older Asians looked at us and never asked me and my family of four -oh I don't know..."Would you like to sit down!" The old waitress talked and mingled with some customers right in front of us, just talking and walking around looking at us and still never helped us it tried to get someone else to help us. We were confused and looked for a sign that said "seat yourself" but No, there was not a sign. We were just being ignored! Never again.. I never go to Dennys because it has a bad reputation as the 99 cent store of restaurants or where to go when you're drunk and just left the club and need to use the restroom and drink cofee at 3am but we were at the park and my kids wanted pancakes but NOPE this place more than exceeded it's poor reputation - worse customer service !!! read more

The timing to be seat was good . It was between 7-10 minutes in a busy hour . The staff was all the time checking if we are missing something and refilling our water and coffee. The time for waiting for the food is around 7-15 mins . They have a good quality food and a mix menu for everybody .The only thing that I didn't like was the presentation of the food .
