We were meeting a family member during a layover at the Airport and wanted a place to dine, talk and eat for an hour or two. It was a convenient location down the street from the airport. The location, I thought was exceptionally clean and well kept for a Denny's, looked like a newer restaurant, that or just kept up well, which I haven't always found to be the case with Denny's. We went around 8:30pm and were seated within just a few minutes. No silverware on the table, had to ask for it after food came out and food took about 20-25 minutes to come out. Seemed like a longer wait than previous visits to other Denny's, but since we had time to kill it was no problem. Good food, what you'd typically expect from a Denny's. Would give 0 stars if possible. It was 2 in the morning and we had a group of 5. There was one table in the entire restaurant that was already eating and a couple at the register making a pickup order. The hostess told us that it will only be a couple of minutes and so we sat at the waiting bench and chatted amongst ourselves to keep busy. 15 minutes pass and we look up at the counter and the hostess still hasn't come to sit us down at a table. We figured she was still busy so we waited a bit longer. Another 15 minutes pass and she's still at the counter chatting with the couple making the pickup order. The least she could have done was sit us at a table with some menus so we could spend our idle time choosing what to eat. We waited a total of about 35 minutes before we decided enough was enough and drove the 0.9 miles to the other Denny's where we were seated immediately with stellar service. That hostess had ONE table already eating and ONE pickup order. There is no excuse for the poor service we received at this location. I will never be returning here and I will dissuade and warn others about this location of their terrible service. read more

After arriving from MD and extremely tired, I stopped in for a quick bite. Ordered chicken tenders and mozzarella sticks. I left to go check in at my hotel down the street. Now mind u; there were 4 people in the restaurant, so they weren't busy by far. When I came back 10 mins later, my food was ready, but I didn't check it. When I drove one minute to the hotel and bit into the cheese stick I realized that the cheese had never melted. They must of dropped it on the grease and took it right back out. The only reason why I'm giving them two stars is because the manager was kind and said she would replace the food on spot if I came back. I explained to her that I've been traveling all day with my 3 year old and would not come back tonight. She promised it would be fixed, and I could pick up the remade food at my leisure the next day. Pleasant surprise! Hadn't been in Denny's for years, but didn't want to pay for the $22 Marriott breakfast buffet and needed a walk. Pleasant staff, great service from Lisa. Had the wild salmon / broccoli / grilled potato skillet. Food arrived quickly, everything done just right and seasoning was perfect. Best restaurant coffee I've had in a long time. When coming into the lobby another older couple was waiting before us . The older couple got seated and than moved . We waited for a min than was seated at the same table they originally moved the older couple . We got our menus but no water And there was no silverware at the table . Our waitress was a woman with black hair and she was Hispanic. She didn't come too take our order tell about 25 mins later . Our food game out fairly quickly but after she gave us our food I didn't see her again . Never checked on us . Asked to refill our drinks or anything . She only had one other table she was working in her section so I don't understand why she never came back and checked on the quality of our food and for that reason I didn't tip and I ALWAYS over tip because I'm was once a waiter myself . I literally waved her down multiple times to get a refill and than the check . It's like it was intentional that she wasn't willing too help . She passed our table most of times . If I could give this location zero stars I would! Can't even call it terrible service because we were never even served in the first place. In an empty restaurant you'd think there wouldn't be much of a wait, but we were seated and brought drinks only to be ignored for about 20 minutes with the waitress on her phone, talking to her coworkers and having a good ole time on the company's dollar. We closed our menus and set them at the end of the table to signal that we were ready, while she looked us right in the eye sockets and kept on doing her thing. This happened multiple times until we finally just got up and started to head for the door. Everyone kind of had a look of shock on their faces but no one said anything or even offered an apology. Definitely one of the slower serviced Dennys. Still waiting after 10 minutes for a server to take our drink order. A good idea is while you are still at length waiting for your server to take your drink order, have yoiur food order ready as well. Our server, Mouert is alone working a very large area, understaffed does not however gibberish you a green light to be rude to customers who at first were patiently waiting to be served. It is a known fact that when you enter into a restaurant and dine, you expect a respectable standard of service. Stopped in here for some pancakes. We weighted a half hour and finally discovered that our order had been sitting and our waitress Jessica that's apparently too scatterbrained to bring us our order. So she brought us cold pancakes no extra plates and we were missing the topping that was supposed to go with the pancakes. So we sent it back and asked for some warm food. Waited another 20 minutes and finally walked out. Nobody cared. No apologies. I didn't pay for the greasy bacon I ate either. This place sucks read more

This is just based on service, they have horribly rude staff. We politely requested a booth and the restaurant was nearly empty, he said no. The next couple who came in and asked for a booth was TURNED AWAY. We immediately got up and drove down the road to the other Denny's location. As we were leaving I said "thank you anyways," to which I received no response at all from who I believe was the manager. If you are absolutely desperate, like unsanitary counters and being ignored, then this is your spot!!! I walked in and stood behind a woman placing her to-go order in the area clearly labeled "Denny's To-Go. Order and pick-up here". After taking the order of the woman in front of me, the waitress walked away never to be seen or heard from again-strike one! Then the young man doing God only knows what on the cash register continued to ignore me-strike two! After acknowledging my presence and asking me to hold on, which I politely agreed to do, he proceeded to serve the man who walked in after me first - strike three!! The only reason I stayed is because it was a 10 minute walk from my hotel and the prices were much better than the hotel. I noticed a bit of grime here and there including the restroom, but basically it is a Denny's. What can you expect? The server is great. While waiting to take my flight , I decided to have breakfast at this location. This is by far, the worst denny's I've ever tried. Ordered the veggie scramble, OMG, it was oozing a brownish oil, the flavour was all odd and tasted burnt, the cups were all dirty and stained (like they never really wash them and just rinse them quickly), the whole restaurant , floors, tables, were really dirty. RECYCLING OLD ORDERS!!! Ordered the club sandwich on white with fries and side salad. Took quite a while to get my food and it all came at the same time, when it showed up I focused on the salad and moved to the sandwich plate. The fries were a collective of different size skinny and fat fries and some small pieces, the club sandwich looked smaller than usual but I took notice with some yellow on the bread and nothing yellow on my plate. Sandwich had a hint of syrup, fries were weird so I flag the waitress to ask her "what's up with these fries?" and can you believe she said "oh those are probably just fries leftover from other orders" I put the sandwich down totally grossed out and told her that I'm not eating or paying for this "food". Heading out the door she tries to flip the script to her manager like I'm bailing so I double back show the guy my plate and he says "probably not other orders but he understands my position". I'm walking back to my hotel and it dawns on me that my bread was previously toast on someone else's breakfast order, explains the yellow transfer of egg and the syrup tint and could have probably even had a couple of bites so they trimmed them into little squares and I'm gonna go throw up now...
