The worst service I have ever had! I went for a late dinner with my sister. There was a line when we walked in. The hostess never greeted us or even bothered to acknowledge that we were waiting for 15 minutes. I understand that sometimes restaurants are understaffed but ignoring your customers is not going to change that. At least make them feel welcome while they wait. Once we were seated it took them like 20 min to even take our order. I ordered nachos and my sister ordered cheesy fries and a salad. Once our food came i noticed the cheese on the nachos was overly cooked and stuck all the nachos together, it looked like sharp cheddar. My sisters fries however, actually had nacho cheese on them so i asked the waitress if i could get a side of the nacho cheese. This ignorant b**** had the audacity to say, "well you're gonna have to wait because i have other customers waiting". I said, "i realize that, you can easily bring it when you please like you have been doing with everything else i've ordered." So she starts huffing and walks away, making rude side comments so that other customers can hear. So then the sweetest waitress comes up to us, her name is Nicolette. She apologizes for what Nikki (the rude waitress) was doing and saying and brought me the cheese at no charge. Her hospitality was on point. I tipped Nicolette and offered a letter of recommendation. She'd be an invaluable asset to any company. read more

The service was horrible when I told the waitress my she had my order wrong she became passive aggressive. She never brought our water and to get coffee refills on our coffee we had to wave her down. I always tip well for good service. My tips also reflect poor service. read more

This was probably the worst service I have had by far. Getting sat within 5 minutes was the only good thing about this visit. It took our server over 15 minutes to even get our drinks. She brought out 2 plates without giving them silverware so I had to get up and grab some then it took another 7 minutes to get the rest of the food. After we got the food, our server down and ate with a guys in a booth near us. After we finished eating (she did not check on us after we got our food) I had to call her name to get our check. That's when she told us that another girl was going to be our server and that she was on her way (keep in mind that she has not gotten up since we got our food so how would she have known that someone else was coming to help us). Finally when we asked to split the check it took over 20 minutes. Even though we had made it easier by putting the ticket number next to each item. The manager of this location is extremely rude and judge mental towards customers. All I did was walk to the bathroom before being seating and instead of walking over to me and talking to me. He yells across the restaurant that bathrooms are for customers only. He just assumed I was some street scum or something. I've been to this Denny's many times before with very long wait times for only have half the restaurant open. If you plan on eating at the bar or a parking lot side booth then don't come here. I figured I could rely on Denny's as I have so many times before for a quick breakfast prior to flying out of SEATAC. Did I ever make a poor choice with this location. I walked in to a half seated restaurant which would be considered slow for most locations, sat immediately at the bar area and waited about 5 minutes for one of the many passing servers to greet me. I ordered right away (basic Bacon and eggs) and waited. And waited. And waited. Never checked on or had coffee refilled. Breakfast took 25 minutes to arrive and I was told the toast would just be a few more minutes. Toast? Really? Half hour? I ate about a third of it, kindly paid, and got out as I had a flight I had to get to. This place was dirty, the service was very poor, and the people were rude. Never again. read more

Traveling to Seattle, this was the closest walking distance place for breakfast to my Hotel and almost didn't stop here due to all the bad reviews. No clue what they are talking about, restaurant was very clean, food was exactly what you expect from Denny's (which was great) and my server was awesome and attentive. My partner and I, along with relatives, were staying in a nearby hotel and instead of heading into downtown Seattle one day decided to get breakfast at Denny's as it was a very convenient location. Nothing special. We had a bit of a wait to be seated. Our waitress never came back to check on us but once we had food, that was fine. It was very busy. Prices were cheap, and the food was okay, a bit on the greasy side. We all ordered breakfast items. I got the veggie skillet. It was just average. This place is absolutely atrocious. Starting with the cleanliness: The bathroom has probably not been cleaned since it's opening. Like I'm talking crusted peed toilet paper behind the seat and just nasty everywhere. Don't touch anything. The booth we were at most likely had dried pee all over it. Also the homeless person behind us was making my husband gag the entire time. The table had finger prints all over it. Service: there was one person serving everyone, like 30 people. She was nice but seemed extremely stressed, understandably. The food took probably a little longer than normal and most of the food was already cold. I got toast and it was cold when I got it and whatever fake butter they put on it was not melting into it. The toast was burnt in some spots but then not cooked in other spots and was hard. Probably whatever toaster they have. We never had our tiny cups of water refilled the whole hour we were there. I could barely force myself to eat the hash browns. I had one pics of sausage and had to spit it out. My child got chicken tenders and they were 80% breading which was nearly burnt and soooo hard. My husband got pancakes which honestly looks so gross but he ate half of them. Basically nothing was hot and nothing was clean and there's pee everywhere. The server asked how everything was and I told her it was actually really gross. I was so mad and grossed out at everything there I was not about to praise this disgusting establishment. The server was super mad after that and looked really annoyed. Like sorry lady but that's how it was. This place seriously needs to be inspected and they need to hire a janitorial company to clean for them every night because that is clearly not being done. Don't waste your money or your mood. This Denny's started off a little grungy but not the worst. It didn't take long for the staff to vanish, and we were left with no refills and no wait staff when we were done. There was a couple of waitresses chatting by the cash register (neither was our waiter) and they quickly grabbed me a couple of boxes and the check. When paying, the manager checked us out and the owner was also there. They said they were sorry that the waiter went on break but stated that since the restaurant was empty, there was no excuse for us being ignored. They wouldn't take anything off of our bill for the incredible rudeness, and we left determined to never return. They are a complete misrepresentation of a Denny's. We needed some place to go immediately to use the restroom so we took the International Blvd and Denny's was right there. When we pulled in we saw that the "Grand Slam" breakfast was on sale for $4.99 so we went in and ate. The waitress was nice but with NO personality. "Can we have a coffee refill?" waitress: "it would be my pleasure", can we have some more syrup?...waitress: "it would be my pleasure"......you get the idea. Anyway, she was nice and the manager on the way out was really funny, he asked how our meal was and then we joked about reviews. I usually do not writer reviews, however I felt a warning to future diners is in order. We were in town for one day prior to flying out again, and stopped at this Denny's for lunch on July 3, 2015. Service was okay, food came out pretty quick. We were happily eating and I looked over at my 10-year olds plate and saw a foreign object lying on the side. I asked him where it came from and he said out of his burger. I immediately took the object told him to stop eating and tried to figure out what it was, grey and soft on one side and hard and kind of light tan on the other. The waiter came by while I was examining it and I explained that my son had found it in his burger. The waiter asked to see it and I obliged and then asked for it back. The waiter went to tell his manager, who stopped by shortly thereafter. He asked to examine the item, which I agreed to. He then proceeded to break the item into three smaller pieces ( it started out about the size of a half dollar). I asked for it back again, and he handed me one of the pieces. I am not sure why he felt the need to break it into much smaller pieces, but when he returned with an incident report he had filled out the two pieces that he retained had been broken up into much smaller particles and taped to the report. So weird. You would have thought that he would want to keep it whole. My son does not appear to have become sick from it, however it is truly disgusting. I was unable to finish my burger, and I have nausea now every time I think of it (with good reason). In looking at it once we arrived home, it looks like it could be a piece of a linoleum floor tile...YUCK!!!!! I just hope that it is not something that will cause damage down the line; and that the rest of the ground beef they used that day was not tainted with it. So GROSS! Avoid this one!! read more

My wife and I had a quick brunch on Saturday. The Denny's down the road, near the Jack in the Box on International Boulevard, was too crowded, so we figured that this location would be worthwhile. We were wrong. Largely empty, we were seated at a table. We initially ordered a carafe of orange juice, while we looked over the menu. We were given something that resembled orange juice, served in a clearly dirty carafe - dark food specks on the inside of the carafe, stuck to the bottom and walls. Once we realized that the carafe was dirty, we stopped drinking the OJ. The rest of the table was likewise less than clean - everything was sticky. But, we had a busy day ahead of us, so we ordered some food. I ordered an Ultimate Skillet, with poached eggs and a side of toast, while my wife had an order of ham and an order of French toast off the 2/4/6/8 menu. I can't speak towards my wife's food, but my food was disappointing, to say the least. The skillet showed up with two poached eggs, with the yolk of one already burst and clotting in the small dish provided with the "skillet." The "Ultimate Skillet" was a misnomer - a quarter-cup of dried-out potatoes and two chopped-up small breakfast sausage links, on which was dumped a paucity of spinach & grape tomatoes with a small amount of cheese. The entire dish couldn't have been more than a cup in volume, minus the poached eggs. The potatoes were old - hard, dried-out - and it was clear that this was basically assembled in the "skillet" and shoved into an oven long enough to warm the food & melt the cheese. The customer service was appalling, as well. Our waiter was polite, but perfunctory - and ensured that, less than 10 minutes after we received our food, that we also received a bill instead of, say, asking us if everything was OK or if we wanted anything else. The cashier, likewise, reminded us that we were an imposition - asked for our bill while we stood in line watching her and another cashier bumble their way through someone else's bill, apparently so she could get a jump-start on things. When it was our turn, she barely spoke to us. Hadn't felt that unwanted as a customer in a long time, especially at a Denny's - I have fond memories, years ago, of spending late nights and after-parties at Denny's. This is the first and last time I'll eat at this particular one. read more

Came in here last night just before Midnight after picking up my brother and nephew who flew in from Va. I've been to so many Denny's establishment and this one by far the worst one!!! First of, the Male Host/Server has a hickey on his neck, so unprofessional. That right there is already a red flag. Apparently, you don't take your job seriously and just want to get by. Second, his humor was inappropriate when there's underage in our group. He plays it off as if it was normal or trying hard to be funny. Third, I ordered coffee and tell you what, that coffee mind as well be chilled coffee. It seems customer service was not the priorities at this place. Nor the workers careless about their work surrounding and not even bother putting on a fresh coffee. Fourth, my brother who is an avid YELPER would have destroyed this company with his complaints. He asked for a toast of bread along with his order. Instead, the Male Host/Server went on break and even came back in the view texting away. My brother's meal was getting cold as he waited for his toast. He then said, " fuck it! This place has no quality of service". Fifth, refills refills refills. None we got. I had to flagged him down to do his table check. One of my biggest pet peeve is not checking back with your customers meal or refills. I'm a tipper and I understand the value of service. Sixth, the table and bench seats are left dirty. Health Concern? Seventh, the Male Host/Server finally offered to bring the toast bread to my brother after he had to be reminded, "oh that toast must've been left behind". He (male host/server) chuckled as if my brother was joking and he insisted to bring it to him when my brother had already finished his food. What the hell is wrong with your worker?! Eighth, the Male Host/Server didn't bother to apologize for his lack of work or customer service. I pretty much gave up on my meal and asked for our tab. THIS ESTABLISHMENT SHOULD BE SHUTDOWN AND RE-TRAIN WORKERS FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE THE PROPER WAY. read more

I was here with 4 friends at night with barely anyone in the restaurant and it took 40 minutes for us to get our food. The tables are sticky and no one asked if we wanted water even though it was right behind the counter. The bathroom was explosive. There was urine all over the floor.
