    Empty Denny's

Food is good. No complaints there at all. Server was either distracted or did not really care. No eye contact, dropped our food off at our table and walked off. No knife, no napkins. Had to actually get up to find her for said items because she never came back to check on us. Brought our check, no eye contact. No thanks for stopping by just walked off. I started questioning if we just weren't the kind of people she did not want to talk to because I definitely know it was not because they were busy. No one was there but us. I recommend a little curtesy/hospitality training.

Its Denny's, but its Shelton Denny's, so you have start with a lower bar. 15 minutes to get seated in an empty restaurant. Ordered food, got food, not exactly as ordered. No salt/pepper. No napkins. I asked for over medium eggs, I got one hard cooked, one over easy and half of what should have been the 3rd egg. Bacon was a shadow of bacon, and sausage was apparently the Vienna style. If I claimed I'd never eat at Denny's, this backs up that claim.

I had the best burger and fries! I've been here a few times and never had good food here. Maybe they got a new cook? Yummy!

Every time I went here last year it was amazing! I went last night and service was terrible along with the food. We got our hashbrowns "smothered" in gravy. Smothered means a teaspoon. My husband asked for hard boiled eggs. They came out 20 minutes after we got the rest of our food oh and apparently you have to peel the shell off yourself lol. The insides weren't cooked fully, it was still watery. We did get a percentage taken off the bill though so good customer service there. Just need to get the cooks in line

Every time me and my boyfriend come here, the food and service is always good. Last night we went in at about 11pm to get some late dinner, and they told us they didn't have a cook, but could serve us salad or ice cream??? The diner was empty all but a few people and some servers, but I guess they didn't have anyone to cook. Kinda weird when they're open 24 hours. I wonder what happened. Either way love this place, and I do recommend.

Gave us a disgusting table, then when requested to clean walked away and decided to seat others.

Rambling Jacks Rib Eye - Our Always-Stop Spot on the Way to Seattle…read more We stopped in for a late breakfast on our drive to Seattle and, as usual, it did not disappoint. My husband ordered the cinnamon roll French toast and I went with the Ranch Hand scramble. We split both (highly recommend doing this if you can't decide), and the portions were so generous that more than half of my scramble came home with us. What's impressive is that with portions this big, you'd expect something to give on quality -- but not here. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere is part of what keeps us coming back. The restaurant has that cozy, rustic charm and there's a cute little gift shop up front that's impossible to walk past without browsing. This time we grabbed some Valentine's white chocolates to take on the road -- such a fun touch. This has become one of our must-stop traditions to and from Seattle, and it's consistently worth it every single time.

We volunteered with staff to serve, bus tables and stack firefighters plates with goodies. I'm talking pulled pork, garden fresh veggies and awesome deserts. For two weeks they did this. Recently the graduating class of 2026 needed a space for prom and guess who stepped up? Halfway house! The prom was so cool. I was happy to see this business so invested in the community once again. The food is great. I always get the big burger, mozzarella sticks and a slice of pie. I also recommend the salmon burger. Servers are real local folks who get to know you as a person, not just a customer. They deliver in the brinnon area too! I've had the delivery service bring me food when I was sick once. The driver was so sweet. He said feel better. Aww! It's important to me to shop small businesses as often as possible. This is once place that will always have my support.

The place was full but someone was leaving just as we arrived, so had a place to sit away from the cluttered area. One cook and one waitress, so food will not come out fast. I ordered a simple ham and cheese omelet and wife ordered an egg, bacon and pancake. The cook did walk over after we'd been sitting for a bit and let us know the hash browns were going to take another 10 minutes. Really appreciate the communication. However it took another 30 minutes beyond that to get our food. If you don't have an hour to wait for a simple order, best to avoid this place. The pancake arrived first. It's huge! Fills the whole plate but it was a little raw in the middle. I thought it tasted fine but wife wasn't impressed. The omelet was totally loaded with ham, and tasty. The hash browns were super crunchy, which isn't my favorite, so most of it went uneaten. Overall, the quality of the food wasn't worth the wait.

And there was grime, dirt, old food, etc just caked everywhere. I am not sure I would go back unless it was food to go.
