Every time I'm there, I always get a takeout too. I usually get a loaded burger for my hubby. I told the server to add lettuce, tomato, onion. I get home, hubby opens it, just a burger and cheese. i have lost my sanity. I went back to this location in hopes of a better experience, only to be reminded why i do not go there. Slow service, cold skillet ( server offered to microwave it when i said something), cold rubbery pancakes (no i don't want those microwaved either, thank you). Her recovery? She did not charge me for my coffee, and thought she was giving me the world. i did tell the cashier, who was at least cognizant that it was an issue and gave me a small discount. Never again, and will remind all that I have already told to never waste your money there. read more

Attempting to write a review of Denny's is like describing sand on the beach; It's the same here as it is up the road. The menu will be familiar to anyone who's blue collar brow has squinted at an American sunset at any point within the last twenty years or so. This particular establishment has a liquor license for those interested, and is located a short hop, skip and jump away from a "late night dance studio" (sans clothing). I am a loan signing agent and went to meet a Marine for a signing of his new home. We meant there @ 2:00 pm when there would not be many people. We went to the back and sat down and proceeded to sign the documents when the Manager came up and told us if we did not by something we had to leave. I smiled at her and said "McDonalds allow us to do signing in their establishment and does not charge us". She responded "Well then go to McDonalds". How rude could she have been. It was terrible. I do not think she knew she was being disrespectful to one of our hero's that give her freedom each day. I am boycotting this Denny's and will never go there again. My son is a Marine on base and has spread the word. I have reported this to Denny's. read more

Husband and I had build your own breakfast and it was very good. They must have changed pancake recipe bc they were fluffy and good. Eggs were your typical boxed egg mix, nothing like fresh eggs scrambled like Waffle House however, the hash browns also tasted great. read more

Service was pretty slow. It took about 30 minutes to order. Then we waited for our food another 30. The waitress didn't speak good English (which is fine) so it made ordering pretty difficult. She didn't know the menu and we had to ask for refills. My buddy got one apple juice the whole time. Would not recommend zucchini. It is a DECENT location for Dennys level. Clean, waitress was moderately nice and attentive and food tasted ok. Nothing special but what can you expect from chain franchise in the middle of nowhere without competition for the customers. Overall it was ok experience, but our waitress forgot about us after giving us our check. Srsly. We wanted refills but she never got back since we weren't interested in desserts. I guess its normal southern hospitality in coastal NC. Also for some reason I was charged extra for seasoned fries. It hasn't happened to me in other Dennys but this one wants my money. Food was good. However Lilly constantly yelling and belittling her workers was unacceptable. People are trying to eat and have a good time and you see employees getting screamed at by her. Total disgrace and embarrassing. She acted like we wasted her time or maybe she was too good for ringing us up when we left. I will not be going back. Every time I want to eat somewhere besides pizza and burgers we come here and I'm super hungry and then when I get my food I'm once again disappointed because I don't know why but the food sucks so much. I get a new dish every time and still sucks so this isn't my go to place after 5 times given it a chance. We have been to this location many times. Overall, the experience is good. Place is clean. Staff are friendly. We ordered the build your burger, didn't get the burger as I ordered but it was still good. It's a great late night "go to" place for food. read more

Probably the best Denny's I've ever eaten at. Clean and the food seems reasonably fresh. It has the standard Denny's menu, but it is worth mentioning, it also has a full bar and tap. Service is a little slow, but not really any different than most other vacationere restaurants in the area. They have free kids meals on Tuesday s and Saturdays and now offer a delivery option. read more

This is the nicest Denny's I've ever been to. All the food looked advertisement worthy and so did the bar and restaurant. Everyone was nice and it's easy to find. We came in at like 11pm and were the only ones there. However, they were out of lava cakes by the time we got there, but that's not their fault. This was a couple months back but my wife and I went to eat here. I got the so called nachos. When they arrived I took one look and knew immediately these were nothing but tortilla chips with spaghetti sauce and some cheese on it. I called them out that this was nothing but that and the manager tried to tell me it was nacho meat. I called him out on it and proved it because nacho meat does not have bell peppers in it nor chunks of tomato. I sent it back, we paid for our drinks and went to Ricks. I will start off by saying that this is the only Denny's I have ever liked. We visit here every week to have breakfast. The staff has always been very nice. I also have to compliment the biscuits here because they are always soft and delicious!
