I suggest not coming to this Denny's unless you want to hear unprofessionalism at its finest with their management and employees with my visit here all I could hear throughout my meal was managers belittling their employees for not doing their jobs and constantly being on their phones. Most of the time the servers themselves aren't paying any attention to paying customers and they usually have their paying customers at their tables for a good 40-45 minute wait without taking care of the paying customers including taking their drink and food orders. This is very unprofessional and it looks bad for Denny's and their management. It's even worse when they have sick employees in the back with the flu and their working around food. Nobody wants boogers in their dishes or saliva because their choosing not to send their sick workers home instead paying customers have to be served the same food. The carelessness is unbelievable. From here on out I will take my business elsewhere where the management is more professional and their employees are more professional and actually take care of paying customers. read more

I eat at this Denny's regularly and I love the personalized care I get everyday I eat there. Veronica is a fantastic waitress... she knows me by name and has my drink ready right after I walk in. Denny's in general is trash, but this one in Spanish Fork is straight garbage. We waited 45 mins to be seated and they was no one around. They sat us down and took another 30 mins to take our order, and then took another 45 mins to bring our food. My cousin ordered water and she never got it the entire time we were there. All of our food was cold, our drinks were warm, and it's ALWAYS a waste of time and money here. Whenever y'all come, just expect the worst service you'll ever receive next to IHOP. Not good service at all which was really sad. The food was okay but everyone that was seated was being neglected and the waitresses were on their phones near the kitchen the whole time. We asked for crayons and she never gave them to us. Typical Denny's. It's busy depending on what time of day. The food is good. I've never been disappointed when ordering. The service is so-so. You have to be very vocal about whether or not you're there to stay or picking up food. I once ordered food to go and I stood there like a fool while the waitress passed me by without offering to help. I finally talked to a waitress and still had to wait. While we were waiting to be seated this Morning we personally watched a blond waitress stick her finger in every entree on the server pick up window to check and see how hot they were. When 2 pancakes weren't warm the manager handled both pancakes with his hands checking for warmth, then flipped them upside down and rearrange them so that the warm one was on top. We are pretty patient people. All it takes is a little eye contact and someone telling me they will help me in a few minutes to keep me happy. So when we walked into this Denny's at 2:00pm and waited 7 minutes before any of the 5 hostesses/waitresses even acknowledged our existence, I was a little put off. They weren't very busy, one lady was just wiping off the counters trying really hard not to look at us! I went there on Saturday 08/18/18. I had the worst expierence there. First the waitress took 6 orders without writing it down and sure enough my order came back wrong. Second, it took over an hour to get our food. Third, my husband's food was litterally burnt! When i told the waitress she said that happen v Because the oil on the grill was burnt. Oh how I wish I hadn't made the call to visit the "new Denny's." I can blame only myself. This experience was one of the worst ever, from the moment we walked in. The kid up front...not a clue in the world. I'm not sure he knew he was at work, but I'm almost 100% certain he couldn't have identified where that is. He was struggling with seating the party of TWO in front of us. After 10 more minutes of basically doing nothing but being really confused he got the situation figured out and seated our party of 3 adults and 2 kids. He then asked if we wanted to order anything. ........ Uh yeah, we do. ??? He left for another 10 minutes to go get us 2 menus that we determined to share, as it was clearly easier than asking him for another. Our waitress was the only thing that made our visit bearable. She really tried her best, and offered many apologies; mostly for the food - it was all wrong, pretty much. It was breakfast food, so not complicated. But it sure got that way quick. Four trips for toast, 3 for eggs, I stopped counting how many times we turned away the flimsy, rubber band bacon. She was frustrated too. Then, we get up front to pay the bill, and are next in line when I notice the cashier. Yup, it's "him." And he's every bit as confused by the cash register as he was by the whole seating/menu ordeal. What occurred next isn't even worth getting into. Fast forward 30 MINUTES, I'm able to resolve my bill and walk out the door. This is with the "assistance" of who I can only assume is some sort of manager, due only to the way she was dressed. She was no more skilled in anything than the kid I'm now going to assume is her son. I'm not a fan of Denny's...anywhere. This location is a shining example of why. Look, I get that this location is new. But restaurants are not new. Menus, not new. Treating customers with respect and providing food and service at a minimum of what you're solely in business to provide...also not new. Good luck to Denny's in this location. My husband and I went last Friday night. It was crazy busy. It didn't take very long to get seated. I ordered the vegi omelet told them no mushrooms. It was perfectly delightful. I am gluten free and they had gluten free English muffins that were surprisingly good. I ordered a side of turkey bacon that took forever to come because the kitchen kept forgetting (they were super busy, not an empty seat). Finally came but there was only two pieces not four. When we were done eating it still never made it to the table. The waitress took the two pieces I did get off the bill. I would have rated four stars if she wouldn't have done that. Denny's is always a hit or miss but this location had some pros and cons. When my friend and I arrived it took them about 15 minutes to acknowledge us and seat us. That wouldn't matter to me if the diner was packed, but there were only four booths full of people inside. Once we were seated though, we were cared for by a funny and attentive waitress. The food was on par for Denny's standard - nothing amazing but it got the job done. My friend and I had just come back from a hike and this was the closest diner to us without driving all the way back to Orem. I don't think I'd go back to this location unless I find myself around Spanish Fork after a hike again. read more

we first walked in and got sat immediately, and right when we walked in, the lady that sat us already had a bad attitude. once we sat down, the waitress took our drink orders and she had a bad attitude as well, about 15 to 30 mins later she took our order. and than we were waiting for our food for about 40 extra mins without the waitress checking to see if we need more drinks or anything. and than about 40 mins later we got our food. three of us got the same thing. For starters the service sucks, for example me and my family were the only people in the place and we didn't get seated for the first 10 minutes and when we did get seated he didn't bring all of the drinks and he brought the wrong ones it took a very long time to get our food out and most importantly forgot the hungry baby's food. If I could leave zero stars I would. Let's start by waiting 12 min just to be acknowledged by anyone in the restaurant. Now we get seated, 20 min after we showed. They were busy so that I can somewhat excuse. Now we sat again for almost 32 min before my wife had to get up to find a waiter or waitress, and the manager comes over and takes our drink order. 20 more minutes before the waitress takes our order. Another 32-36min before it arrives. My daughter in law orders the veggie burger, and it shows up with bacon. What if any would order the veggie with meat on it??? They also had no pancake batter. They go to put in the new food for her, and about 24-30 min it comes out. We ask for the manager (with such attitude) comes over and says "So you want your meal free!" Ok and walks off. Rude, poor, service, and the food sucked. Will not be returning to this location ever. Disappointed would be the nicest word I can use. I've never walked out of a restaurant until tonight. The worst service EVER. Trent was rude and seemed inconvenienced from the moment we arrived. Spilled water on me without apologizing, got something as simple as ice cream wrong 3 times, with no apology, just annoyance. We told him we were leaving and he just walked away and said "k." We have only been here 3 times. We haven't been in awhile. The other times it was good. Tonight was horrible! They were short staffed as the cooks were LOUDLY proclaiming. Our server was rude but we could tell it's probably because he was stressed out. We didn't get everything in our meal. My steak was awful. The toast was toasted in old rancid oil and was terrible. I can understand the stress of being understaffed. I've been in an environment like that. But you still remain professional. I wasn't expecting much with it being Denny's but it's usually decent. Tonight was not. 3 of us and it cost over $60. I should have listened to my kids and gone to Kneader's or Zupas. It would have tasted MUCH better and been a lot cheaper.
