Decided to give our new local Denny's a try. Not going to lie, I was anxiously waiting for this location to open as the nearest one is in Goodyear. As soon as we arrived, we knew there was going to be a wait. Thankfully, there was two open seats at the "bar area" and we were able to save time on waiting for a table or booth. We were greeted right away and we were able to place our order quickly as we already had an idea of what we wanted. We decided to order the T Bone breakfast, Philly steak omelette, french toast and pancakes. We ordered the steak medium rare but look more of a well done. It was a little too hard for our liking. I was a bit surprised with how much smaller the food portions seemed in comparison to the last time we had Dennys. Overall, food was okay. Service was great. Hopefully, we can see improvements in the next visit. Considering this just opened they are on the right track. read more

Had breakfast here. It was hard enough for me to keep my order straight, as my boyfriend and I were splitting a lumberjack slam and were both really hungry so wanted to add some extras. I have no idea how this place has 4 stars. Every time I have come here (which is often) the service has been shit and it seems like everyone hates their job. This most recent time I went with two other people and they ordered the same meal one of them got the full meal and the other one got like half of what was supposed to be on the plate as if they ran out of food.. but we were not told anything they tried to just play it off to see if we would notice not to mention butter is apparently kept under lock and key when it comes to applying it to toast that shit was dry asf. Just awful. Service was very slow. Server was not around. I paid $3.19 for 1 cup of coffee. Never refilled water for us. There were only 3 of us. Food arrived cold and when we looked for our server, she was not around. They need to train servers and hostess. May not come back. Too bad. Need restaurants near this place. The moment I walked in the host was helpful and gave me seating options I didn't know was available with the dinner seating options. Additionally, my husband and I were Impressed with Alicia service. She was kind, attentive to our needs and never felt like I was missing anything and if any moment I felt that she was already offering options when deciding on what to eat. She also demonstrated teamwork by helping peers on how to plate the dish. Very knowledgeable. All the staff was amazing. Tamara also introduced her self for additional support. Been to this Denneys twice now and both times were excellent. For our 'brunch' today, Mel was a great host...great attitude and personality. So excited the dennys opened by my house however the staff is all young kids and there all flirting. We asked for napkins and didn't get napkins. Waitress said she was gonna put on a fresh pot of coffee and never came back with coffee. Waited 45 min for a check never got anything so I went up to the front and asked. Waitress kept saying sorry over and over again to other customers. Another customer was waiting on her burger since we got there and since we left. I been there twice and will not be going back. Whenever my friends and I always need to plan of a place to go for breakfast, I always jokingly said "Denny 's" because it was in my words "great trash food". But the Denny's on Lower Buckeye is a warm high-effort experience I didn't think to expect from a mainstream breakfast chain. All the employees' professionalism and care does not seem forced and I very much enjoyed the quick, efficient and friendly service from Mayra, who recommended the Chorizo Skillet, which I very much enjoyed. Brand new, so happy it is less than 2 min from my house...HOWEVER, our waitress was horrible, NO, good morning, what can I get you to drink, we had to get our own menus, NO SMILE, and she COMPLAINED about her job before she asked so rudely, "WHAT do u want"? They been open for a couple of days so they're a little behind with their staff. Waitress was nice just took a while to serve us and it wasn't packed, after receiving our food everything seemed fine haven't been to a Denny's in many years and the reason was that low quality food reflects on the pricing if that's not an issue I definitely recommend this place. Everything look good it was cooked properly just the flavor was off on the sausage,ham and pancakes the orange juice seems straight out of a carton which it was. This location just opened up near my house and I've been numerous times during the night and went for the first time during the day today. Each time I went in the night I had the same wonderful server, who was patient and constantly checking up on our table. The day I went placed an order and it came out wrong and I drove home with my to-go and called saying they messed it up and they wanted me to go back and bring my food and remake it! After I waited 30 minutes for my food, then to drive home and back and wait 30 more minutes was not a solution. The night staff is amazing but they need new day staff! read more

This new location is very unorganized and careless. The lady's seating people were very unprofessional. When they were calling people to be seated they called names and waited 15 seconds before moving on to the next person. If someone didn't come in 15 seconds the lady said "Your done" over the intercom. I waited 40+ minutes when i was told 20 minutes. I watched so many people that came after me be seated. It took forever for our drinks and food to come out and when it did come out you could tell it was sitting for a while. Please do better. They all need more training or something. read more

I just recently moved in Tolleson and my buddy told me they just opened a Dennys by my house. I went in and my server was so nice to me and checked up on me multiple times. I don't even think my drink went empty which is personally a big thing to me.
