BAD SERVICE, BAD VIBES. JOSE OUR SERVER WAS LAZY AND RACIST. I HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED SUCH BAD SERVICE EVER. Not only did we have to wait 20 minutes for our food to arrive. But we were also neglected when we asked him to give us a couple of minutes to decide our order. He ignored our presence and made us wait an additional 20 minutes to put it our order. I am FURIOUS!!! Went on a Sunday fully expecting it to be busy which is fine however, the server didn't ask us once how everything was or anything about the wait or when our food would be there. We waited 45 min for our food and he didn't come by once. Me and my friend tried a new type of pancakes, only took a couple bites and decided neither of us liked it and asked for it to be taken off the bill when we finally were at the pay booth. The manager did take it off but not without being extremely rude and guilt tripping us about getting probably $10 off the menu. I went to this Denny's on my birthday and it was not a positive experience. The manager gave me a hard time about giving me my free birthday slam. He was not friendly . This place was really good. We had a server by the name of Alex. He was awesome!! He gave us time to look at the menu without rushing us. He was very attentive. He brought our drinks very quickly. Come here regularly in the evenings after a long shift at work. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and the one female Asian manager is very polite and attentive. Lots of negative reviews on here and I don't know why. People usually only leave Yelp reviews when they have something negative to say... I get a lot of take out orders at night and for breakfast on the weekends. Managers, Kay in the evenings, and Pablo on the weekends, are both the most friendly and accommodating people I encounter there. With an army of servers, you get quick service here and they place isn't as noisy as other diners. I've been coming to this Denny's since the 80's and it has always been a great place for late night bites. This last time we came here for a meeting of about 6 people and they did a great job keeping our mugs filled with coffee while serving the other customers. It's a great spot. Gave it a four star because aside from the breakfast plates, the items menu needs a serious tune up. It would be great if they could expand on the light and healthy list a bit. read more

I usually come to this denny's with my family. I usually get the Philly steak omelette, but today i wanted to get the vegie omelette for the second time. The squash wasn't cut correctly. There were big chucks of the squash and the other vegetables. There was hardly any spinach. There was more egg then vegetables. You can tell by the pictures i took. I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews. But this one was pretty bad. You know it's bad when even if the restaurant where to reach out to me I probably still wouldn't go back. It's one thing to be unhappy about the food and have to send it back but a whole different think when your being called a lier and are being criticized on my feelings about the food that was sent out to me. The manager here did exactly that and was super rude about it. He was not even trying to apologize. He was to busy proving me wrong about my taste buds and how I felt about the portion size and dryness of the food. This place is confusing. Last night was, hands down Horrible service. Unexpectedly so since the last time we'd eaten here it was about 5 a.m and we had no problems. We came here for dinner last night. We were seated by the manager who's name tag read "Rene". He practically slammed the menus on the table and walked away. This left my sister, boyfriend and I a little confused. They didn't seem very busy in there. There were about 10 diners in the entire place (including ourselves). The menu my sister had was dirty. It had stains and it was sticky. While we were looking at our menus deciding on what we wanted we noticed a couple walked in and were sat by us. The server who sat them immediately asked for their drink orders, meanwhile the three of us sat, thirsty as hell. The server comes back to the couple next to us with their drinks and begins taking their order. The three of us go on ignored. The manager walks by several times and it looks like he knows absolutely nothing about customer service. He doesn't acknowledge us once. Finally our server arrives. I wish I could tell you his name but he doesn't introduce himself. He walks up to our table and asks "You ready?" Nope. We're not ready. We need a Clean menu and I'd like a water. We all order water. Our moods at this point are quite bitchy since there could have been some redemption in the waiter's approach but he was simply rushed and careless. We eventually get our water and the couple next to us has already started eating. While we order our food our server seems confused as to what Smothered Seasoned Fries are which after trying to explain it about 4 times, has just become frustrating (and at this point the only reason we're still there is because we're freaking hungry and it's 2 a.m and we don't want to try to go anywhere else). When the food comes out I am almost out of water. Our server drops off the food and does not come back. He doesn't check up on his table. He didn't bring extra napkins, he didn't ask if we needed refills, he didn't even pre-buss the table. My boyfriend and I wanted to get a slice of cheesecake to go but the server simply dropped off the check as he was walking by so we walk over to the cash register where the ever-so efficient Manager is and I tell him that we meant to add a dessert to our order but the server never came back. I told him we never really saw him. This guy didn't care. No apology. No "how was everything?" He was just as useless as the other guy. He brings us our cheesecake. We pay for our dinner and get the heck out of there. Last night was the first time I ever stiffed someone. I used to have his job at a different Denny's and I'm usually a good tipper but there was absolutely no reason to tip this guy especially for barely doing his job. read more

Coming here NYE after the club is not the business. I'm pretty sure everyone in our 8 person party was served their food 15 minutes apart. Worst part is that everyone's dish was cold (like really cold) by the time it got to the table. We started cancelling some of our orders, or else we would have been there for 3.5 hours (instead, we were there for 2 hours). Our server still brought us the food we cancelled and didn't charge us for it. When we went to pay, the Manager/Owner wouldn't stop trash talking the one server saying she wanted to fire her for being bad at her job, etc. Like really, you should keep that on the dl. Always nice, even if there isn't many waitresses to help out. The place gets busy early in the AM &!@ lunchtime. I work very close so I can walk in. The Asian lady is usually nice and has a smile on her face even when I saw another customer being rude and talking down to her. This place is also great if you're short on time... The service here was extremely bad. Upon being seated, I waited about 10 minutes before I was even acknowledged. I never did meet the server. The host took my order of coffee while the server was doing who knows what. However, he brought me coke instead and tried to argue with me that I asked for coke, not coffee. That's one of the biggest rules. Don't try to argue with the customer about what you thought you heard! So after receiving my coffee, I wait about another 10 minutes to order my food. I decided to order the All You Can Eat pancakes. They came out pretty quickly, but after finishing my cup of coffee, I had to track the guy down to get a refill. He didn't bring more cream with it, so I had to ask for that as well. Even worse, he never asked me if I wanted more pancakes. So although I was a bit full after eating the inital three pancakes, I could have gone for at least one more. But at that point I was over the bad service. I decided to get the heck out of there.
