She showed me to my table, brought a carafe of water, and welcomed me in. I was quickly welcomed by Sergio, my server, who shared the special and the soup of the day. Once I ordered my soda I took in the ambiance of the bar, new lights, and the rest of the restaurant. It's not a large building but they make every inch count. Now, the reason you're reading this review- THE FOOD. I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich with a Caesar Salad. The chicken (photo below) was perfectly cooked, topped with hot honey, slaw, pickles, and ranch then placed on a soft brioche bun. The meal was reasonably priced as well at $33 which included tip. I will absolutely be back to the Shanty next time I'm in town.

Definitely on the pricier side for breakfast but I've got a pic of the breakfast menu so you can decide for yourself.

And I have to admit, eating at the countertop was relaxing. I ordered the JD muffin which is a grilled English muffin with bacon and fried egg for ~$5.95. The outside of the muffin was soft compared to the crisp inside. It was deliciously tasteful with crispy grilled bacon and egg. Much more tasteful than those egg muffins that one can purchase elsewhere at those widespread coffee shops. My partner had a #7 with a side of bacon including 2 eggs scrambled, 2 bacon slices, home fries, 2 pieces of toast and 2 thick tasty plain pancakes of which I had one. I don't usually have plain pancakes but these were very tasty and fluffy. Both of our coffees, hot and iced, came with free refills. We wished the staff a great vacation and left, knowing that this is our new "goto" breakfast restaurant.

Results of the Remedy; For two free meals, At first I did not want to take advantage of the to free meals offered from Jeffery Eaton, I was turned off and never wanted to eat another pancake again for the rest of my life , But my girlfriend talked me to giving Denny's another chance she said the Bald Hill Road, Warwick R.I. Has always been great!!, So we went there this morning, We were seated immediately, and served immediately by April, We knew with in the first 60 with April it would be a great dining experience, and it was from start to finish, everything went smoothly and seamlessly, while we waited for our food I observed the entire staff working everybody was in a good mood and working in unison, even the cooks were a great team, The Managers didn't even look stressed, What I witnessed was is and how a great all American Restaurant use to run, everybody taking pride in their work, It was a great All American experience!! The foods always good and so is the service. To all the people writing 2000 word negative reviews: It seems like nothing will ever make many of you happy, and you've clearly never worked in the restaurant business. Do the staff and everyone else a favor and don't dine out anymore. Krystal F., Denny's runs many grand slam specials and price things accordingly, either get the special or don't, but arguing that your meal is close to one of the $10 ones so it should also be $10 is absurd. And then trying to get money back for a supposedly missing egg makes you sound vindictive and like Mr. Scrooge himself. Calling the workers and restaurant trash also tells us about how you interact w people and your general attitude. Something tells me that there's always a problem wherever you go, and somehow it's never your fault. Please spare the hard working restaurant workers from having to deal with you and cook your own meals and save your pennies. And the manager was right to call the police on you; you were clearly harassing her. Dennys has always been consistently good and although they're not perfect no place is and they deserve some respect. Thank you Denny's for catering to those who may not be rich but still enjoy a good meal. And may your customers be more pleasant in the future read more

Me and my wife use to come to this location all the time years ago but then it really started going downhill. We decided to come in this week and WOW is all I can say there has been some major changes in here. The place looks so clean and has a restaurant smell to it now. The staff is so friendly, and the food was hot and delicious, they decorated for Christmas and it looks so festive and welcoming. We will be back for our weekly breakfast like we use to. moving forward. whatever you guys are doing your doing a Great job keep up the good work. So happy that Theresa is in this location. Me and my wife have followed her throughout her Dennys career but unfortunately she went to far for us to travel. She let us know she was back in the area and we came right away. She always makes our dining experience amazing, she has almost become family by how she has treated us through the years. We have never visited this specific location but it is so cute, I love the Diner feel. The food came out fast and hot. We will be visiting this location more often. This location has the best waitress. I live in Attleboro Mass. But now that my favorite Dennys waitress Theresa has moved to this location I will drive the extra miles, my kids were sad she wasn't at the one closer to our house. BUT the food came out quicker. Had breakfast in here this morning Cindy was our waitress she was so friendly. The coffee came out nice and hot, the manager Amanda came to refill our coffees twice. If good hygene is important to you should avoid this Denny's location. Hair in your food & chefs coughing while cooking seems to be the norm here. I found what seemed to be a pubic hair. The reason why I think pubic is because all the cooks that night were Caucasian. In establishments where customers are valued the manager usually comes over and apologizes not here. One thing i did notice was that they had special menu dedicated to organizations to help those in need and each menu specialized to specific cause. Part of the cost is donated to those organizations. I ended up ordering 3 eggs scrambled, linguica, whole wheat bread, and hash browns. The food was pretty good. Standard breakfast but it was tasty. Service was good and quick. Wait was not too long . Overall it's a solid breakfast place with friendly service and decent food/price. Good breakfast spot near the area.

We stopped in on a very busy Friday night but were pleasantly surprised to be seated quickly in the bar area, which is my preferred spot anyway. The manager who greeted and seated us was genuinely friendly, setting the tone for a great evening. Our servers were equally wonderful and took the time to answer all of my questions about the gluten-free menu. I was especially excited to learn they have a dedicated gluten-free fryer, which is always a huge plus for those with food sensitivities. We started with a couple of summer spritz cocktails. They were light, refreshing, and perfect for a warm evening. I ordered their take on a Hugo Spritz and really enjoyed it. My boyfriend chose the Limoncello Spritz. It wasn't quite my style, but it was still well made and delicious. For dinner, we both ordered the steak tips with steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes. The steak tips were cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes were incredibly flavorful, and everything on the plate was delicious. It was one of those meals where you're tempted to lick the plate clean. Between the friendly service, gluten-free accommodations, and excellent food, this was an easy five-star experience. It was really delicious. It was as described - it was sweet with a nice kick. The wonton crisps were tasty and brought some nice texture to the dish. The salad was dressed very well, too. The server was friendly but soft spoken. It was a bit hard to hear her as it was on the louder side in the restaurant. But it was open and airy - no crowded feeling. I've been to this East Greenwich as well as the Cranston location and review would be the same for each spot. I'll be back.
