Not too sure why I haven't reviewed Adrian and Dependable Water Heaters but here we go.... Ever had a bad day? Not just any bad day... but a BAD BAD DAY!!! Mine went as followed: My alarm for work went off late causing me to panic. I immediately head straight to the shower and let the water run|heat up- or so I thought it did. I hop right in and am left cringing and am in complete shock due to the ice cold water that is now drenching me. With no time to spare, I suffer through what felt like the longest shower EVER [not it a good way]. I jump into the car half frozen, wet hair dripping, and I begin to weaving in and out of traffic hoping to get into work sooner than later. Traffic comes to a complete halt and the rest of my day was pretty poopy to say the least. With all that said, I couldn't wait to get home and have this headache fixed. I was in a panic to have our water heater looked at, fixed, and be done with this unexpected stress. Thanks to Yelp I found DWH. Not really knowing much about this stuff, Adrian took extra time to walk me through the entire process. I appreciated his honesty, care, and LOVED the fact that I didn't feel pressured to do anything. A couple of months ago, my gas water heater couldn't be relit and in any case, approaching the end of its life so I found Dependable and called for a replacement. Adrian found out that it is potentially fixable by replacing the pilot fixture still, and gave me that option (which I appreciated). But since he hauled a new heater all the way already and spending another few hundred dollars for just a few more years seems undesirable to me, we went ahead with replacing the heater. Adrian was friendly and we had nice chats! And he gave me many tips which could potentially save me more hassles (and which also means money!) in the future. I've had a leak on the main water line. I know this means breaking through the concrete and is going to be expensive. It's been leaking lightly for a few weeks, but flow increased after the rain. I've had experience with Dependable Water Heater before. Adrian had installed our water heater. I know he is reasonable. So, I've called him. Adrian was working somewhere but said as soon as he could, he or his partner will come by. Even though it was a Saturday, David drove by within a couple of hours to check what's going on and to give an estimate. He checked closing and opening valves and checking the meter, including the sprinklers to make sure the problem is on my side of the meter. He gave me an awesome idea of routing a new line through a narrow grove between the concrete slabs to minimize the destruction and the estimate came to an optimal number. The next morning, to reduce the time we can't use the water, 4 of them came to get the work done very quickly and efficiently. I am really happy with the work. These guys are Pros and gave attention to detail. I really liked the way Adrian worked before and am glad that David is the same. They not only stick to what was planned while estimating. They see something broken close by, they point them out and fix them without asking for extra. In my case, the meter box was cracked and there was a small leak in one of the sprinkler lines. And they did them all with a great attitude. If you are a perfectionist like me, these are the guys you want to hire. read more

Contacted Adrian on yelp about installing a tankless water heater.  I changed my mind after our discussion.   The cost to install a tankless is almost 3x and also because the maintenance is a pain in da ass.  Flushing the good old fashioned 50gal water heater is a lot easier than a tankless.  Adrian's price was the lowest so I scheduled the install of a 50gal Bradford White.  He was in and out in an hour.  Quick and easy venmo payment. read more

Adrian is great and here's my story! I received some dreaded photos of water leaking from the water heater on a Sunday evening. Apparently, my tenants has been ignoring the leaks for quite a while since the heater was still operating on its last legs. The water damage has rotted the platform and possibly the walls as well. If it wasn't for the the dead heater, the damage might even get more extensive. I called a few places in panic, and Adrian was the only one who took the time to analyze the pictures I sent, explained the whole situation and remedial actions. Fortunately, the damage wasn't as bad as we anticipated after he removed the old heater. The tenants only had to go a couple days without hot water because the platform has to be rebuilt, but I guess that's more than fair for their negligence. He asked me to send photos, which is a great idea - he gets to diagnose the issue immediately and provide a solution. For me, it was a replacement. Adrian came out on the 4th of July!!! Who does this? And if they do, you are expected to pay additional fees.... not with this gentleman. Adrian texted me a time frame of arrival, then, an update... here by 11:45am. Adrian is personable as he is professional. If things go wrong, I know who to call. In addition to the water heater, Adrian installed a drip pan - something no other prior installer had done - a very nice touch to protect from overflows. If I can give Dependable Water Heaters (Adrian) 10 stars, I would. This guy is seriously one of the nicest guys out there, and it's the genuine nice, not the give-me-your-business nice. Also, reasonable price, prompt responses! Run-down of the situation: my mother's water heater was leaking unnoticed for quite some time (1-2 years). Adrian came by to remove the water heater, revealing a moldy mess, rotted stud and subfloor, disintegrated drywall. He took the time to explain what the process would be to repair all this and what pitfalls we may run into. He also recommended a restoration company to us, who also treated us very well. For the next two weeks, the water heater area had to be partially gutted and dried out of all the moisture and then wood and drywall replaced before Adrian could come back to finish the work. He followed up to see if we needed any guidance with the repairs. Adrian finally came back to reinstall a brand new water heater and bring it up to code. It was not an easy job since it's in a tight space but he did a fine job. Excellent customer service all around. I really feel my mother was taken care of. My mother is very happy with his work (trust me, it takes a lot to impress her). I definitely will be calling him again when my own home needs water heater work done! read more
