We have visited a few times, mostly breakfast but today was a lunch visit. I have always liked the staff, very friendly and accommodating. It's also nice to find a breakfast place where when you leave you don't smell like it all day! (good exhaust) Today we tried lunch, and it was great. I had the Ruben and he had the Chicken Salad. Neither of us finished it, they were really hearty. The place is really clean and parking pretty easy. The only downside is it's a tad expensive....I love that you get a filling sandwich, but $45 for 2 sandwiches and 2 small sodas was a bit much for us. We will definitely come back but will now know what to expect in cost!

came here for brunch since i haven't been here in years, stephanie provided great service and the diner is clean & spacious. my egg & cheese sandwich was just okay, the eggs were not runny at all and i could have made it better at home honestly. i only wanted something small but i should have ordered something else. my friend loved the western egg sandwich, made with a whole 3 egg omelette. egg & cheese 4/10 western egg sandwich 8.5/10 decent place for brunch, would try a different dish for better results. ambiance: 4/5 food: 3/5 service: 4.5/5 depot diner: 3.8/5

We stopped here for brunch on a Saturday on our way to Salem. There was a 25-30 minute wait, but they ask for your number and call when your table is ready. The wait was accurate. We were seated and promptly asked for our drink order. We both asked for water and coffee, and even got our own cups of creamer! I created my own omelette with mushrooms, spinach, bacon, ham and American cheese. I substituted my home fries with fruit, and went with the sourdough toast. Everything was very fresh and good. My friend also enjoyed her bacon and cheese omelette. The service was outstanding and so friendly. Our waiter kept our coffee cups filled and made light conversation. I've already recommended this place to another friend who is going to Salem next week.

Our "go to" spot for breakfast! So many great menu items here! Great Benedict's, omelettes and more! A couple of my favorites are the Sunrise Omelette- spinach, sun-dried tomatoes and feta. I usually have mine as an egg white omelette. Their corned beef hash eggs Benedict is quite yummy too!

I went here with my dad a couple months ago and it was good. My dad goes here often, and now I see why. I especially liked the waffle.

So I didn't bring my wallet but I had my wife so everything should be okay. I was a little groggy from the procedure but we sat down and split an eggs benedict cooked perfectly and the French toast. Served up quickly with a smile. We talked to the people to our left and right and enjoyed our breakfast and that's when the bill came. Very reasonable in price. I handed it to my wife and she says well I didn't bring my pocketbook. You always have your wallet. I looked at her and said I didn't bring my wallet because I didn't want to leave it in the hospital. We said uh oh. This has never happened to us before so we asked what I think is the owner and explained our situation. She just looked at us and said never mind breakfast is on me. Who does that? Anyway, I grabbed the bill and we left laughing about our stupidity. On the way home grab day. Thank you card at CVS and wrote a check out and sent it to the diner. I never thought of the diner again until I saw an advertisement for it and said I have to go give it a review. Not only is it great food, not only is it great service, not only is it a wonderful retro place, but the owner is one of a kind. By the way, I paid much more than the bill with a little note. That said, please pay it forward. Love love love this place and haven't back since.

I found Crave through the Find Me Gluten-Free app, and the high ratings definitely lived up to the hype! It was just a quick, easy drive, and the bakery was easy to spot. Inside, it's super cute, clean, and welcoming. The menu was surprisingly full of gluten-free options--from breakfast sandwiches to coffee drinks--and their pastry case had about 8-10 different gluten-free and/or dairy-free goodies. I went with the blueberry lemon scone and WOW. It was unreal. Moist and cake-like (not dry and crumbly like many GF scones), with a light glaze and a perfect lemony-sweet flavor. I literally almost cried--it was that good. I savored every bite and was honestly glad I don't live closer, or I'd be there every single day. I also grabbed a cold brew, which they brew in-house and serve on tap. It was strong, smooth, and delicious--just how I like it. Whether you're gluten-free by choice or necessity, Crave is a must-visit. Friendly staff, delicious options, and a cozy vibe--what more could you want? Do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't be disappointed!

We were in the middle of placing an order and they shut down their online system for 15 minutes. So we waited. Two egg sandwiches, one croissant, a coffee with an espresso shot, a hot latte and a chai tea latte. Nothing unusual. Their system said the order would be ready two minutes after it was placed. That's just silly, so we waited 10 minutes before heading over. We arrived and picked up our bag with all the items listed on the receipt and headed back. Turns out, two items were missing that we had already paid for. We now headed back once again to Crave. We thought that maybe we forgot a bag, but no, they just failed to add two items and let us leave. "We tried to call you but your line was busy," was the answer, but that's simply not true. I wasn't on the phone and I have a cell phone -- busy signals do not apply. There was no record of an incoming call either. The attitude of staff was not apologetic whatsoever. A simple, "We're so sorry" would have sufficed. One of the items we had ordered was now out of stock. In fact, one staff member said, "You're the third customer today who didn't get their cinammon croissant," which only revealed the failure of their ordering process. With limited options, we chose the Nutella croissant as a substitute. Returned home and finally ate. One sandwich was delicious (bacon-egg-cheese on a ciabatta roll) but the other had sriracha instead of ketchup as requested -- made a big difference in taste which we did not like. The replacement pastry we were forced to choose tasted very stale and not so much of Nutella. Coffee with a shot and the latte didn't taste particularly strong. Iced chai latte was fine, but nothing to write home about. Not worth $54 -- including a tip for staff that we wished we could rescind. Would NOT return, especially not with all the breakfast options in Beverly. Hard pass.
