We visited the showroom and got to see different materials and styles. After much consideration, we decided on purchasing Dekton countertops because of durability, its modern look, and no maintenance. Michael, the owner's team, came out took measurements and on the day of the build they did a promo job. They made sure specifications fit our kitchen and installed our under sink sink. Everything looked great and was level. We had purchased a big enough slab to also allow for a waterfall countertop, which was the highlight of our kitchen. They worked with our existing cabinets and just replaced the countertop. More recently. We had my mom visiting and she accidentally chipped our Dekton countertops along the edge of the inner sink. Michael and his team were prompt to get out within a few days and repair the chip. They even resealed our sink at our request. His team was quick and you cannot tell where the damage was. Thank you Lyvayko Countertops!

Hugo arrived on time (he was actually running late due to traffic and texted to let me know) and although I had already researched and decided on a matte finish, he insisted on making two section - examples of matte and high gloss. Thanks to Hugo I immediately picked the high gloss which was the better choice for my small kitchen. All was clean and shiny when he was finished. I highly recommend Hugo - not only did he do an excellent job, I am glad I had the pleasure of meeting him and his lovely wife.

He came highly recommended by my agent, who had recieved the recommendation from his tile guy. I also thought I did my due diligence by reviewing his Yelp feedback. Before the countertop work began, we needed a plumber and asked JP if he had someone. He sent his plumber. The plumber did not speak English, and while he was there we used Google Translate to bring the issues to his attention directly... but it did not work. Unfortunately, the work was unacceptable. The bathroom sink leaked immediately due to improper connections, the sink was installed crooked, the showerhead rod was damaged during installation, a screw was broken into the wall, the wrong type of sealant was used, and the handlebar popped out with minimal pressure (he used the wrong screws, only screwed in 1 instead of 3 and broke one screw in the tile wall) creating a serious safety concern. My agent and I called JP to address the situation. Before I was even able to explain the issues, he immediately stated the plumber was "not his guy," despite having sent him. The conversation quickly became unprofessional, with him yelling AT US and he ultimately hung up on us.... all his without us even stating what the issue was leading me to believe he already knew HIS GUY screwed up. I had to hire another plumber to correct the mistakes, which cost me twice as much, all after already paying JP for a shitty job. I would be very wary of working with someone who is willing to speak to a paying customer that way before even hearing their concerns. Based on this experience, I will not be moving forward with them for my countertop installation.

He put in the sink crooked., the hardware was done incorrectly and ugly. This is a renovation. He put in the shower hardware with drywall screws and created a safety hazard, as the shower hand bar pops out of the wall with very little pressure, only hel in by one screw as the other was broken off in the wall. He did not seal or caulk the sink or toilet. When we called JP immediately became defensive declaring it was not "his guy"! He became belligerent and declared " well you said it was urgent. Urgent does not mean you will accept a crappy job. I would never refer anyone to JO and SDstone Studio. He was supposed to do our counters. No way in hell would I allow him in my home. "Not my Guy!"

I really wanted to have a positive experience with this company because things started off well…read more The staff initially seemed helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, things began to fall apart shortly before finalizing my cabinet order. My final renderings were never properly completed. One entire room was missing from the plans, and major updates that were requested - including switching from frameless to framed cabinets (which affects cabinet sizing) - were never reflected in the drawings. It became very difficult to get in touch with anyone to finalize the order or receive updated plans. Eventually I went into the store in person, where Liad offered to "fix and finalize" everything on the spot. He manually drew out the new layout and entered the order on his phone, assuring us he was taking care of everything. However, no formal layout, purchase order, item list, cabinet sizes, or updated renderings were ever provided. I was told we could rely on the existing renderings and that getting formal updates from the designers would take too long. After paying, we heard nothing until my contractor informed me that cabinet boxes were being delivered. The delivery arrived without any paperwork, purchase order, or layout for my contractor and cabinet installer to reference. Once installation began, we discovered multiple issues: missing items, incorrect cabinet sizes, missing panels, and accessories that were the wrong size. Trying to resolve these problems was extremely frustrating. It was again difficult to reach Liad until we went back into the store. He repeatedly asked us to provide a list of what needed to be fixed, but that was difficult because we were never given a purchase order or layout showing what was actually ordered. What stood out most was the change in demeanor. Conversations that were initially helpful became defensive and dismissive. At one point he even questioned whether our installers "knew what they were doing," and suggested modifying cabinets to make incorrectly sized accessories fit instead of addressing the ordering mistakes. At this point I have had to purchase replacement panels, shelves, and accessories out of pocket from another cabinet store just to keep the project moving. Both my contractor and cabinet installer -- as well as staff at the other cabinet supplier -- were shocked by the experience and confirmed that this is not how a cabinet ordering process should work. My advice if you choose to work with this company is to triple-check everything and get all documentation in writing before paying. Make sure you receive final drawings, a purchase order, item numbers, and cabinet dimensions. It's unfortunate to have such a stressful experience during what should be an exciting part of a home remodel. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this business. There are many other cabinet suppliers that provide clearer communication and proper documentation.

I had a very disappointing experience with Shugarman's Bath Company…read more I first met their representatives at a local festival, where they advertised that they would provide a completely free bathroom design if I agreed to a home consultation and listened to their sales presentation. I specifically explained that I was interested in a full bathroom remodel, not just a shower replacement. Based on those representations, I agreed to schedule an appointment. When the salesperson arrived at my home, I was surprised to learn that the company only focuses on showers and does not provide complete bathroom remodels or custom bathroom designs as I had been led to believe. Despite realizing early in the appointment that their services did not match what I was looking for, I still sat through the sales presentation because I understood the salesperson was giving up his time to be there. The presentation lasted approximately an hour and a half. At the end, I was given a very expensive proposal, but no picture of how the shower would look like. When I followed up and requested to receive a picture of how the of the shower would look like as I was promised, I was told that they do not provide designs and that I should simply look at photos on their website (this statement came directly from Mr. Jones who was the lead design team. This was completely different from what was presented to me when I agreed to the appointment. I felt the advertising was misleading and that the primary goal was simply to get a salesperson into my home rather than provide the service that had been promised. I was also told that I could receive a discount if I left a positive review, which made me question the authenticity of some of the company's online reviews. Additionally, I was offered what was presented as a "free vacation" if I agreed to move forward with their proposal. However, as the details were explained, it became apparent that this was not truly a free vacation but rather a promotional offer tied to a timeshare-style presentation. This felt like another example of marketing that was not fully transparent upfront. Throughout the appointment, I felt significant pressure to decide on the spot. The overall experience reminded me of a high-pressure car dealership sales environment, where the focus seemed to be on getting a signed contract rather than understanding my needs and providing the services that had originally been promised. I believe companies should be transparent about the services they offer and should honor the commitments made to potential customers. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here.

When we started, we only knew what we didn't like about our current kitchen. Like any major…read moreproject, we started by reaching out to a couple of vendors to get quotes, that's where we met Alon, the project manager for Lumina Builders. What immediately stood out to us was that he had ideas and solutions to address our pain points and make enhancements, we wouldn't have ever considered, and didn't just wait for us to tell him how we wanted things. He created a vision for us in that first quote visit. The other contractor we spoke to didn't provide any ideas just asked us how we wanted it. It was a very easy decision to go with Alon and Lumina Builders. Our project was estimated to take 2-3 months and ultimately took two and a half months to complete. We designed a brand new kitchen, addressing all of our concerns and adding a few recommendations from Alon to streamline some areas. They ripped everything out aside from the flooring and walls. We got brand new custom cabinets, custom lighting, and new countertops. Our fridge was moved to a new, more accessible area. Our sink was shifted down to align with the stove for continuity sake (never realized how much I hated it being in a corner previously). We had a new little cabinet built in our little breakfast nook area and we had an appliance garage built to house everything that took up counter space. Everything is so much brighter and more open and, even though we know the demensions are roughly the same, it feels so much wider. We are ecstatic with how everything came out. Alon is a genius. He was responsive to us throughout the project, checking in weekly to see how things were going, giving us peace of mind throughout this process, as first time remodelers. We were indecisive about the primary cabinet color (I was very worried we'd be stuck with something we didn't really like) but he worked with the cabinet makes to give us several samples to choose from. He was very patient with us. We LOVE how everything turned out! We'll definitely be using Lumina Builders for all of our future projects.

We did our research…read morefirst and shopped a few different companies, but we ended up going with IZ Flooring due to their fabulous reviews and because of how quickly and professionally they responded. First, our rep Robert came to our house with tons of options and suggestions. He was able to give us a wide variety and help us select something that uniquely fit our style and budget. He was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly with any questions we had. When we came to the showroom, Robert dopped everything to lead us through the selection process. We could tell he was highly knowledgeable and much more intent on making us happy rather than upselling us on unnecessary products. When instillation day came our installers, Miguel and Israel, were also very professional and highly knowledgeable and skilled. Rarely have I seen harder workers than these two! Their attention to detail--such as lining up the carpet pattern on the stairs and making sure the cut pattern on the risers were balanced--was impressive. The entire job, including moving large furniture, was completed in two days. We couldn't be more pleased! We highly recommend this team for high quality products, professional treatment and advice, and an impressive installation experience.

DRS remodeled my condo in PB. These guys were great! Very professional, was exactly as they proposed, and went above and beyond such as stepping in and installing appliances when the appliance company didn't do what they had promised. Nick and Damian at DRS are so nice and easy to work with and completely trustworthy. The have on staff and/or use quality licensed plumbers, electricians, flooring installers, painters, etc. Everything came together within a reasonable time frame and I would certainly recommend them for any jobs big or small. Nick and his crew are great guys to work with. They totally renovated both of my bathrooms, gutted the whole thing and rebuilt it into a much bigger beautiful bathroom. If you want cheap work and your house FLOODED, call these guys…read more They were called out by my neighbor on a Saturday to replace a pipe that was leaking into my bathroom through a shared wall. The leak has already done sufficient damage on my side. They said it can hold off until Monday and they will put a clamp on it to stop the leak for a few days. Sounds great, right? The plumber begins the clamp process and bursts the pipe - the water begins GUSHING out all over my bathroom, out into my office and entryway, garage wall, etc. The plumber runs out and goes to the neighbors to shut off the water. You'd think they would shut off the water prior to doing any work on a pipe - but they claim this is not what they do. Now, my walls are wet, water is trapped under my new LVP floors and seeps out when we walk on it. My office computer that was on at the time is wet. I have a water mitigation process started ripping out everything in a house I've lived 6 months in. This is a complete disaster that started from us asking to repair an emergency pipe leak which they wanted to delay and put a bandaid on. They couldn't even put the bandaid on right. If this was my pipe, you'd be sure I'd be using a much more reputable plumber - you know the ones that have at a minimum a company logo on their car, introduce themselves properly and explain their license insurance, put boots on entering my house, have their own step stool not me providing one, etc. After all of this occured, I asked the soaked plumber for their company liability insurance which he couldn't provide. He brought out his supervisor who also wouldn't provide and said to call the owner on Monday because he's out of town to discuss. Left an owner a message asking for insurance or I call the state board, and an hour later the out of town owner shows up in my house. Owner refuses to share anything and said they'd only work with my neighbor who called them out - even though you were doing all your work inside MY house and flooded MY house. The first room was a full gut of our guest bathroom. The second room was the replacement of our den's drywall ceiling with tongue and groove wood. The bathroom was transformed from a dingy 1940's mess to something you'd find in a magazine. On the other hand the den was more subtle, but required the extensive electrical rewiring, carpentry, and lots of drywall work. The best way to describe Clayton and team is Professional, Personable, Patient, and Polite. Craftsmanship is evident in everything they do from tiling to touch up painting.
