Every girl is skeptical about walking into a new salon. I know I always am. But I needed to find another nail shop that would take care of me the way I wanted them to. Meaning, listen to what I'm asking for on how I want my nails to look. Most places just don't care. My previous nail shop I used to go to was so much closer to me but after it was bought out my a new owner & had new employees, the quality was just not the same. Totally upsetting. Anyways. I yelped this place out and just took another chance. Seeing and reading reviews on here helped me decide to just bring myself here and see what they're all about. Let me tell you... She did such an awesome job and listened to how I wanted my nails to look. Shape and color. Also had the best customer service by getting to know me. And everyone else around. Warm and inviting friendly staff. Music so relaxing I want to take a nap. I especially enjoy the quality taken by Lily. She addressed my every need and pays close attention to detail. I really enjoy coming here when out of town. I am treated as a friend not just a client. The requested service is for gel acrylic and gel pedicure. She does an exceptional job every time. Love this place! My friend and I were here for work from out of state and I broke my nail. Called the place and they were able to fit me in as last client for a fill/fix and pedicure (they ended up didn't get to leave until close to 9PM). They were super nice and friendly. This is beyond sad and pathetic when an owner of a company has the audacity to say they called and tried reaching out to me. You are lying and I will make sure people are aware of this poor service and ownership. Horrible work that any skilled nail tech should never give a paying customer. The paying customer isn't happy with the sloppy work by your salon then you refund them especially after seeing the photos yet instead you want to call me a liar when in fact you are lying about reaching out. Sweetie god bless you and instead of ripping people off with horrible work and customer service do the right thing and train your employees instead of playing with children and stopping your job repeatedly. First time at Zen, and I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. The place is very clean and relaxing. Excellent service, and very friendly and attentive staff. Trish was the one who did the gel manicure for me, she was very attentive to details, I was undecided between two colors and she took the time to put on the two colors for me to choose, the nail polish looks very nice and natural. I have been coming to this wonderful nail spa for 3 years and no words could express the divine experience I have every time I come here :) Trish and Tiffany will make sure you are treated like royalty and leave feeling like a Queen. I never have an issue with scheduling and never have to wait when I arrive. I have been to multiple salons in the valley and none compare to the personalized experience I receive here. I am very picky about my nails and Trish is always so loving and patient with me, I appreciate her! Once you come here you will have found your new home and no other experience will compare. I made an appointment a week ago to get a manicure prior to an evening event. Unfortunately they took a walk-in prior to me, ignoring the fact I had an appointment. They had my phone number, so they could have called me to let me know they wouldn't be able to see me till 30 minutes after the fact, but they didn't. Poor customer service I would say, so they lost a customer. read more

My friend recommended this place so I decided to try it. I made an appointment at 11 am for 2 pm and were able to schedule me. I got there at 2 pm and waited 20 minutes before I was seated. They were very apologetic and were able to squeeze me in so not a big deal. I got a deluxe gel pedicure and have to say it was worth $60. I did leave not really liking the color I chose but still enjoyed the experience. read more

Head to toe, they'll make you feel perfect for any occasion!!! Here in Vegas for a wedding I'm a bridesmaid for tomorrow and they were able to give me the royal treatment! I'm new to the area and was looking to yelp for a nail technician and let me say, Zen's definitely deserves the stars it has, if not more! I was in this mood to hurry up and get my nails done and messaged a few places. Zen got back to me right away and was like "can you come in now?" YUP! I was there in 5-10 min, and taken care of right away! Trish was my technician and I LOOOVE her. She was on top of it all while also taking care of me and never missed a beat! I decided to dip instead of gel and I am loving it. Trish explained the difference and without her being so knowledgeable, I would've been fiddling with my nails alllll day. (Dip is thinner than gel. Feels more natural.) I got set up with the pedi right away as well. I didn't catch that lady's name, but she did a fabulous job as well! I just hate a dishonest business and nails shops are a dime a dozen in Las Vegas. So where I choose to go needs to have consistent pricing when I go back every two weeks. For my third fill, suddenly trimming cuticles was $20 on discount for $10. When I asked for the same pricing, she gave a slimy businesswoman retort. read more

I've had my haircut done by Damian and Bradley -- both have great attention to detail and excellent chair-side manner. Getting your haircut inside the El Cortez just adds to it. There's an old-school Vegas vibe that makes the whole experience feel classic and unique -- not just another barbershop visit. When I need a barber shop I might give them a chance but it's far from my home. The guys working here were very friendly. I should have asked them how many people think this place is also a speakeasy. It's located inside El Cortez and on the second floor where the original hotel rooms are located.

Absolute blast and amazing way to end an amazing night in Vegas…read more Family vacation 2 older teenagers. Decided they would get a night on the town with a show, dinner while wife and I had our fun. Dinner, show (Absinthe) capping with our stop at the Barbershop. I love whisky/bourbon. I love speakeasys. I love live music. Check, Check, Check. So now it's about 11 pm after dinner and the show and the walk. Passed the ski lodge speakeasy with just a few people waiting. Got to barbershop and the line was 20 deep. Ruh Roh. It did end up being 40 minutes wait but we made friends in line (ended up all hanging out inside). We almost gave up to back to ski lodge but decided to not be quitters....so glad we stayed. Love the decor. It was loud (not a biggie) so we got some great ol fashioneds at the bar, then inched our way to center dance floor where we didn't stop dancing to the band til 1 pm when they stopped.....we had so much fun, we (and others) wanted them to keep playing. It did cost me $25 cover (wife was free). I was ok with this. i think before 9 it's free to get in. Amazing night.

My barber Cesar moved to this store a few years back, and despite me moving to a house in the North West of the valley, I am still happy to make the drive here for his awesome and friendly service, and for the overall experience. The interior really is very cool, great to have a true barbershop feel to enjoy rather than the bland and clinical interiors of most modern chains or shops. It's fun looking at all the decor, including some of the more fun items on display, it all just adds to the overall experience. It's also reasonably priced, though be aware this is a cash only establishment, so no cards, but they do have an ATM. Overall, Good Times Barbershop lives up to its name. It is always a great experience coming here and I highly recommend this business.
