We used the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, and locker room facilities, and everything was consistently clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. My wife had a deep tissue massage and said it was excellent. I even got a pedicure, which was great as well. Even though I don't remember everyone's names, every staff member we interacted with was friendly, pleasant, and incredibly helpful. They really helped make our weekend feel relaxing and stress-free. If we stay again at the Hilton Grand Vacations Club Elara, we will definitely return to Lapis Spa inside Planet Hollywood. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind while in Las Vegas.

If you are looking for an all-day experience with activities and energy, it definitely delivers. That said, the coed areas can get quite loud, especially on weekends. It can feel more social and high-energy than relaxing. Even during a massage, noise from the main areas can carry through, which takes away from the overall experience. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and there is no shortage of things to explore. Overall, it is a unique experience, but if you are expecting a quiet, traditional spa environment, this may not fully meet those expectations.

My mom was visiting from out of town and wanted to make her weekend a spa weekend. Because of…read morepregnancy, I was limited to taking only prenatal massages, so I looked up all the highly-rated places in Las Vegas and LOAM came up. It was easy to look over their services on their website, but to ensure my mom and I could do our massages together at the same time, I found calling them was much better. I had booked the 50-minute Prenatal Massage and my mom booked the 50-minute Thai LOAM Massage with a 50% reservation fee. We were required to show up 10 minutes before our appointments to fill out a waiver and survey, change out of our clothes, and get situated on the massage bed. We were originally going to be in separate rooms but they asked if it was okay to put us in the couples' room; not a problem. They set up my bed with the pregnancy wedge for my belly, and it was pretty comfortable. The only complaint I had was that I had a hard time breathing through the little head hole as they layered a lot of white sheets on top of the bed and made the hole smaller and stifling. I found myself having to breathe through my mouth but it was tolerable. For prenatal massages, they only offer light and medium pressure. However, in certain areas I did feel like I got deep pressure especially in my shoulders as I had a few knots and tightness there. Katie/Kathy was my masseuse and she knew exactly how to work out those kinks while still making the experience comfortable for a pregnant person. I still felt like I got deep tissue massage on my shoulders despite the prenatal massage policy of being at maximum medium pressure. My mom said she found her massage relaxing and loved her experience at LOAM. They gave us water cups at checkout and we left feeling pretty relaxed. I did have a bit of shoulder soreness for 2 days afterwards but that is to be expected for getting the incessant knots out of my back--shoutout to Katie/Kathy! Overall, I highly recommend LOAM for their prenatal massages!

Neither of us felt like our therapists were particularly skilled or well-trained, and the massages lacked the technique and attention to detail we were hoping for- especially considering the price point and the wellness-focused atmosphere. The space itself is beautiful and relaxing, but the quality of the actual treatments just didn't match the environment. We left feeling disappointed and wishing we had chosen another spa. Overall, it wasn't our favorite experience, and we probably wouldn't return.

Walk-ins welcome

The front lobby is a "no-frills" Asian spa (Chinese-operated, not Korean), but don't let the modest exterior fool you--it is surprisingly huge inside and can accommodate up to 20 people at once. I walked in without an appointment and they were able to take me immediately. Here are a few tips for your visit: The Setup: The rooms are separated by doors for privacy, but the individual sections are divided by curtains, so you can sometimes hear neighbors talking. The Pressure: This is the place for people who actually want a hard massage. Even their "regular" pressure is much firmer than a "deep tissue" at a place like Burke Williams. I especially loved the technique where they step on your back--it's incredibly effective! Just make sure to be vocal about your preferences if you want them to adjust. Pricing & Upselling: They are very clear and upfront with their signs, but like any spa, they may offer add-ons. Just ask if something is included or an extra charge; they aren't trying to scam you, they're just running a business. Location: It's in a perfect spot right next to all the amazing restaurants off Spring Mountain, making it a great stop before or after dinner. If you don't need a giant hot tub or a steam room and just want a focused, high-quality massage that actually works out the knots, this is the spot. I left feeling super relaxed!

I chose the 60-minute deep tissue full body massage, which cost $68 for one hour. That price is actually on the lower side for the Las Vegas area. However, I felt that the therapist's pressure was not strong enough and didn't quite achieve the results I was expecting. That being said, the overall environment and pricing were still very good. It's definitely a place worth coming back to in the future.
