We were headed to Chicago for a wedding and my air conditioner was leaking onto my floorboards forming a huge puddle on both the driver and passenger side. Ray answered and explained nothing could get done til tomorrow. After giving me some tips on what to do, he said you know what, just bring it in and we'll take a look. 10 minutes later Dennis, another mechanic, had taken my tire off and was using an air compressor to unplug my drain. We were excited, relieved, and way overdo to hit the road. That's when Dennis informed me that my front tires were hitting wire (that's a frustrating tire story for another day). He told me I shouldn't drive to Chicago or I might get stranded on the highway. Luckily, I have great friends who lent me their car. Dennis and Ray saved me valuable time and potentially my life from two blown out tires. Not to mention, a ridiculously gross towing bill. I can't thank them enough! They were by far the least expensive of the other companies that quoted the job. JW is a great man and turns out a great electrician! It took about a week to get on the schedule because of them being swamped with work. Very professional and they did a great job. JW sent pictures of the completed work to the city inspector, which made his job a breeze. The DTE electrician was also pleasantly surprised to see that he would not have to terminate any wiring and all he had to do was plug in the meter. I can't recommend JW Shaw Electric enough. 5 stars and now I see why Tesla recommends them for charger installation.

It's been over two weeks and i've not heard back from them. Every single time I called (before they finally told me they lost my plate) they brushed me off saying the manager would call me back in 10 minutes. I never got a call back. This place cost me hundreds of dollars between getting a new license plate and replacing all the stolen items from my car. The lack of care was so obvious. They said my car was locked and I don't believe it. When I mentioned stuff was missing from my car the guy said "Crackheads must have gotten it." This establishment was extremely unprofessional in the way they handled me and my situation. This was also all before they were able to work on my car because it was deemed to be totaled. The plastic cover under his car came loose with time and when my son called back to schedule an appointment the owner Steve was very rude and told him that he doesn't have time (for something that small). He hung up on my son twice. I am very very shocked. I guess some people only are nice when the repair is over a certain dollar amount. My son is 18 yrs old and works hard for his money. He was very hurt by this. Do better by our youth and your customers!
